1 З атръбете в Сион, И дайте тревога в светия ми хълм; Нека се разтреперят всичките жители на страната; Защото иде денят Господен, защото е близо, -

Blow ye a trumpet in Zion, And shout ye in My holy hill, Tremble do all inhabitants of the earth, For coming is the day of Jehovah, for near!

2 Д ен тъмен и мъглив, Ден облачен и мрачен, Бързащ като зората, която се разпростира върху планините; Идат люде много и силни, Подобни на които не е имало от века, Нито подир тях ще има до годините на много поколения.

A day of darkness and thick darkness, A day of cloud and thick darkness, As darkness spread on the mountains, A people numerous and mighty, Like it there hath not been from of old, And after it there is not again -- till the years of generation and generation.

3 О гън пояжда пред тях, И пламък опаля подир тях; Земята пред тях е като Едемската градина, А зад тях гола пустиня; Да! нищо не е избегнало от тях.

Before it consumed hath fire, And after it burn doth a flame, As the garden of Eden the land before it, And after it a wilderness -- a desolation! And also an escape there hath not been to it,

4 И згледът им е като изгледа на коне; И тичат като конници.

As the appearance of horses its appearance, And as horsemen, so they run.

5 К ато тропот от колесници се чува Като скачат по върховете на бърдата, Като пращение на огнен пламък, който пояжда тръстика, Като шум на силни люде, опълчени на бой.

As the noise of chariots, on the tops of the mountains they skip, As the noise of a flame of fire devouring stubble, As a mighty people set in array for battle.

6 П ред тях племената се измъчват, Всичките лица побледняват.

From its face pained are peoples, All faces have gathered paleness.

7 Т е тичат като юнаци; Като военни мъже качат се на стената, И маршируват всеки в пътя си Без да развалят редовете си.

As mighty ones they run, As men of war they go up a wall, And each in his own ways they do go, And they embarrass not their paths.

8 Н е се тласкат един друг; Маршируват всеки в своя път; И даже като падат около оръжията Не спират вървежа си.

And each his brother they press not, Each in his way they go on, If by the missile they fall, they are not cut off.

9 С пускат се върху града, Тичат по стената, Качват се по къщите, Влизат през прозорците като крадец.

In the city they run to and fro, On the wall they run, Into houses they go up by the windows, They go in as a thief.

10 З емята се тресе пред тях, Небето трепери, Слънцето и луната потъмняват, И звездите оттеглят светенето си.

At their face trembled hath the earth, Shaken have the heavens, Sun and moon have been black, And stars have gathered up their shining.

11 И Господ издава гласа си пред тая си войска; Защото станът му е много голям; Защото е силен оня, който изпълнява словото си; Защото денят Господен е велик и твърде страшен; И кой може да го изтърпи?

And Jehovah hath given forth His voice before His force, For very great His camp, For mighty the doer of His word, For great the day of Jehovah -- very fearful, And who doth bear it?

12 Н о, казва Господ, даже и сега се обърнете към Мене С всичкото си сърце, С пост, с плач, и с ридание;

And also now -- an affirmation of Jehovah, Turn ye back unto Me with all your heart, And with fasting, and with weeping, And with lamentation.

13 И раздерете сърцето си, а не дрехите си, Та се обърнете към Господа вашия Бог; Защото милостив и щедър, Дълготърпелив и многомилостив, И разкайва се за злото.

And rend your heart, and not your garments, And turn back unto Jehovah your God, For gracious and merciful He, Slow to anger, and abundant in kindness, And He hath repented concerning the evil.

14 К ой знае дали Той не ще се повърне и разкае, Та остави благословение след себе си, Колкото за хлебен принос и възлияние на Господа вашия Бог?

Who knoweth -- He doth turn back, Yea -- He hath repented, And He hath left behind Him a blessing, A present and libation of Jehovah your God?

15 З атръбете в Сион, Осветете пост, свикайте тържествено събрание;

Blow ye a trumpet in Zion, Sanctify a fast -- proclaim a restraint.

16 С ъберете людете, осветете събранието, Свикайте старейшините, Съберете младенците и сучащите; Нека излезе младоженецът из спалнята си, И невястата из стаята си;

Gather the people, sanctify an assembly, Assemble the aged, Gather infants and sucklings of the breasts, Go out let a bridegroom from his inner chamber, And a bride out of her closet.

17 Н ека плачат свещениците, Служителите Господни, Между предхрамието и олтара, И нека рекат; Пощади, Господи, людете си, И не предавай наследството си на позор, Та да ги владеят народите. Защо да рекат между племената - Де е техният Бог?

Between the porch and the altar weep let the priests, ministrants of Jehovah, And let them say: `Have pity, O Jehovah, on Thy people, And give not Thy inheritance to reproach, To the ruling over them of nations, Why do they say among peoples, Where their God?'

18 Т огава Господ поревнува за земята си, И се смили за людете си.

And let Jehovah be zealous for His land, And have pity on His people.

19 И Господ рече в отговор на людете си: Ето, аз ще ви пратя житото, Виното, и маслото, та ще с наситите от тях, И няма вече да ви направя за позор между народите;

Let Jehovah answer and say to His people, `Lo, I am sending to you the corn, And the new wine, and the oil, And ye have been satisfied with it, And I make you no more a reproach among nations,

20 Н о ще отдалеча от вас северната язва, и ще я оттласна в безвода и пуста земя, С предната й страна към източното море, А западната й страна към западното море; И воня ще възлезе от нея, И смрад ще се издигне от нея, Защото е извършила надути работи.

And the northern I put far off from you, And have driven him unto a land dry and desolate, With his face unto the eastern sea, And his rear unto the western sea, And come up hath his stink, And come up doth his stench, For he hath exerted himself to work.

21 Н е бой се, земльо; радвай се и весели се; Защото Господ извърши велики дела.

Do not fear, O land! joy and rejoice, For Jehovah hath exerted Himself to work.

22 Н е се плашете, полски животни; Защото пасбищата на целината поникват, Защото дървото ражда плода си, Смоковницата и лозата дават силата си.

Do not fear, O cattle of the field! For sprung forth have pastures of a wilderness, For the tree hath borne its fruit, Fig-tree and vine have given their strength!

23 Р адвайте се, прочее, и вие, Сионови чада, И веселете се в Господа вашия Бог; Защото ви дава есенен дъжд със справедлива мярка, И ви наваля дъжд - есенен и пролетен - В първия месец.

And ye sons of Zion, joy and rejoice, In Jehovah your God, For He hath given to you the Teacher for righteousness, And causeth to come down to you a shower, Sprinkling and gathered -- in the beginning.

24 Г умната ще се напълнят с жито, И линовете ще се преливат с вино и масло.

And full have been the floors pure corn, And overflown have the presses new wine and oil.

25 И ще ви възвърна годините, които изпояде скакалецът, Изедникът, пръгът, и лапачът, Моята голяма войска, която пратих между вас.

And I have recompensed to you the years That consume did the locust, the cankerworm, And the caterpillar, and the palmer-worm, My great force that I did send against you.

26 И ще ядете изобилно и ще се наситите, И ще хвалите името на Господа вашия Бог, който е постъпвал чудесно с вас; И людете ми няма никога да се посрамят.

And ye have eaten, eating and being satisfied, And have praised the name of Jehovah your God, Who hath dealt with you wonderfully, And not ashamed are My people to the age.

27 И ще познаете, че аз съм всред Израиля, И че съм Господ вашият Бог, и че няма друг; И людете ми няма никога да се посрамят.

And ye have known that in the midst of Israel I, And I Jehovah your God, and there is none else, And not ashamed are My people to the age.

28 И след това Ще излея Духа си на всяка твар; И синовете ви и дъщерите ви ще пророкуват, Старците ви ще виждат сънища, Юношите ви ще виждат видения;

And it hath come to pass afterwards, I do pour out My Spirit on all flesh, And prophesied have your sons and your daughters, Your old men do dream dreams, Your young men do see visions.

29 О ще и на слугите и на слугините Ще изливам Духа си в ония дни.

And also on the men-servants, and on the maid-servants, In those days I do pour out My Spirit.

30 И ще покажа чудеса на небето и на земята, Кръв, огън, и стълпове от дим.

And I have given wonders in the heavens, and in the earth, Blood and fire, and columns of smoke.

31 С лънцето ще се обърне в тъмнина, И луната в кръв, Преди да дойде великият и страшен ден Господен.

The sun is turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, Before the coming of the day of Jehovah, The great and the fearful.

32 И всеки, който призове името Господне ще се избави; Защото в хълма Сион и в Ерусалим ще има избавени, Както рече Господ, И между оцелелите ония, които Господ ще повика.

And it hath come to pass, Every one who calleth in the name of Jehovah is delivered, For in mount Zion and in Jerusalem there is an escape, As Jehovah hath said, And among the remnants whom Jehovah is calling!
