1 А Духът изрично казва, че в послешните времена някои ще отстъпят от вярата, и ще слушат измамителни духове и бясовски учения,

And the Spirit expressly speaketh, that in latter times shall certain fall away from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits and teachings of demons,

2 ч рез лицемерието на човеци, които лъжат, чиято съвест е пригоряла,

in hypocrisy speaking lies, being seared in their own conscience,

3 к оито запрещават жененето и заповядват въздържание от ястия, които Бог създаде, за да се употребяват с благодарение от ония, които вярват и разбират истината.

forbidding to marry -- to abstain from meats that God created to be received with thanksgiving by those believing and acknowledging the truth,

4 З ащото всяко нещо, създадено от Бога, е добро, и нищо не е за отхвърляне, ако се приема с благодарение;

because every creature of God good, and nothing to be rejected, with thanksgiving being received,

5 П онеже се освещава чрез Божието слово и молитва.

for it is sanctified through the word of God and intercession.

6 В това като съветваш братята, ще бъдеш добър служител Исус Христов, хранен с думите на вярата и доброто учение, което си следвал до сега.

These things placing before the brethren, thou shalt be a good ministrant of Jesus Christ, being nourished by the words of the faith, and of the good teaching, which thou didst follow after,

7 А отхвърляй скверните и бабешките басни и обучавай себе си в благочестие.

and the profane and old women's fables reject thou, and exercise thyself unto piety,

8 З ащото телесното обучение е за малко полезно; а благочестието е за всичко полезно, понеже има обещанието и за сегашния и за бъдещия живот.

for the bodily exercise is unto little profit, and the piety is to all things profitable, a promise having of the life that now is, and of that which is coming;

9 Т ова слово е вярно и заслужава приемане;

stedfast the word, and of all acceptation worthy;

10 п онеже за това се трудим и подвизаваме, защото се надяваме на живия Бог, Който е Спасител на всички човеци, а най-вече на вярващите.

for for this we both labour and are reproached, because we hope on the living God, who is Saviour of all men -- especially of those believing.

11 Т ова заръчвай и учи.

Charge these things, and teach;

12 Н икой да не презира твоята младост; но бъди пример на вярващите в слово, в поведение, в любов, във вяра, в чистота.

let no one despise thy youth, but a pattern become thou of those believing in word, in behaviour, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity;

13 Д окато дойда, внимавай на прочитането, на увещанието на проучването.

till I come, give heed to the reading, to the exhortation, to the teaching;

14 Н е пренебрегвай, дарбата която имаш, която ти се даде, съгласно с пророчеството, чрез ръкополагането от презвитерите.

be not careless of the gift in thee, that was given thee through prophecy, with laying on of the hands of the eldership;

15 В това прилежавай, на това се предавай, за да стане явен на всички твоят напредък.

of these things be careful; in these things be, that thy advancement may be manifest in all things;

16 В нимавай на себе си и на поучението си, постоянствувай в това; защото, като правиш това, ще спасиш и себе си и слушателите си.

take heed to thyself, and to the teaching; remain in them, for this thing doing, both thyself thou shalt save, and those hearing thee.
