1 M ostraste favor, Senhor, ã tua terra; fizeste regressar os cativos de Jacó.

To the Overseer. -- By sons of Korah. A Psalm. Thou hast accepted, O Jehovah, Thy land, Thou hast turned the captivity of Jacob.

2 P erdoaste a iniqüidade do teu povo; cobriste todos os seus pecados.

Thou hast borne away the iniquity of Thy people, Thou hast covered all their sin. Selah.

3 R etraíste toda a tua cólera; refreaste o ardor da tua ira.

Thou hast gathered up all Thy wrath, Thou hast turned back from the fierceness of Thine anger.

4 R estabelece-nos, ó Deus da nossa salvação, e faze cessar a tua indignação contra nós.

Turn back us, O God of our salvation, And make void Thine anger with us.

5 E starás para sempre irado contra nós? estenderás a tua ira a todas as gerações?

To the age art Thou angry against us? Dost Thou draw out Thine anger To generation and generation?

6 N ão tornarás a vivificar-nos, para que o teu povo se regozije em ti?

Dost Thou not turn back? Thou revivest us, And Thy people do rejoice in Thee.

7 M ostra-nos, Senhor, a tua benignidade, e concede-nos a tua salvação.

Show us, O Jehovah, thy kindness, And Thy salvation Thou dost give to us.

8 E scutarei o que Deus, o Senhor, disser; porque falará de paz ao seu povo, e aos seus santos, contanto que não voltem ã insensatez.

I hear what God Jehovah speaketh, For He speaketh peace unto His people, And unto His saints, and they turn not back to folly.

9 C ertamente que a sua salvação está perto aqueles que o temem, para que a glória habite em nossa terra.

Only, near to those fearing Him His salvation, That honour may dwell in our land.

10 A benignidade e a fidelidade se encontraram; a justiça e a paz se beijaram.

Kindness and truth have met, Righteousness and peace have kissed,

11 A fidelidade brota da terra, e a justiça olha desde o céu.

Truth from the earth springeth up, And righteousness from heaven looketh out,

12 O Senhor dará o que é bom, e a nossa terra produzirá o seu fruto.

Jehovah also giveth that which is good, And our land doth give its increase.

13 A justiça irá adiante dele, marcando o caminho com as suas pegadas.

Righteousness before Him goeth, And maketh His footsteps for a way!
