1 V eio mais a mim a palavra do Senhor, dizendo:

And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying, `Son of man,

2 F ilho do homem, houve duas mulheres, filhas da mesma mãe.

Two women were daughters of one mother,

3 E stas se prostituíram no Egito; prostituíram-se na sua mocidade; ali foram apertados os seus peitos, e ali foram apalpados os seios da sua virgindade.

And they go a-whoring in Egypt, In their youth they have gone a-whoring, There they have bruised their breasts, And there they have dealt with the loves of their virginity.

4 E os seus nomes eram: Aolá, a mais velha, e Aolibá, sua irmã; e foram minhas, e tiveram filhos e filhas; e, quanto aos seus nomes, Samária é Aolá, e Jerusalém é Aolibá.

And their names Aholah the elder, And Aholibah her sister, And they are Mine, and bear sons and daughters. As to their names -- Samaria Aholah, And Jerusalem Aholibah.

5 O ra prostituiu-se Aolá, sendo minha; e enamorou-se dos seus amantes, dos assírios, seus vizinhos,

And go a-whoring doth Aholah under Me, And she doteth on her lovers, On the neighbouring Assyrians,

6 q ue se vestiam de azul, governadores e magistrados, todos mancebos cobiçáveis, cavaleiros montados a cavalo.

Clothed with blue -- governors and prefects, Desirable young men all of them, Horsemen, riding on horses,

7 A ssim cometeu ela as suas devassidões com eles, que eram todos a flor dos filhos da Assíria; e contaminou-se com todos os ídolos de quem se enamorava.

And she giveth her whoredoms on them, The choice of the sons of Asshur, All of them -- even all on whom she doted, By all their idols she hath been defiled.

8 E não deixou as suas impudicícias, que trouxe do Egito; pois muitos se deitaram com ela na sua mocidade, e apalparam os seios da sua virgindade, e derramaram sobre ela a sua impudicícia.

And her whoredoms out of Egypt she hath not forsaken, For with her they lay in her youth, And they dealt with the loves of her virginity, And they pour out their whoredoms on her.

9 P ortanto a entreguei na mão dos seus amantes, na mão dos filhos da Assíria, de quem se enamoravam.

Therefore I have given her into the hand of her lovers, Into the hand of sons of Asshur on whom she doted.

10 E stes se descobriram a sua vergonha; levaram-lhe os filhos e as filhas; e a ela mataram-na ã espada; e ela se tornou um provérbio entre as mulheres; pois sobre ela executaram juizos.

They have uncovered her nakedness, Her sons and her daughters they have taken, And her by sword they have slain, And she is a name for women, And judgments they have done with her.

11 V iu isso sua irmã Aolibá; contudo se corrompeu na sua paixão mais do que ela, como também nas suas devassidões, que eram piores do que as de sua irmã.

And see doth her sister Aholibah, And she maketh her doting love more corrupt than she, And her whoredoms than the whoredoms of her sister.

12 E namorou-se dos filhos da Assíria, dos governadores e dos magistrados seus vizinhos, vestidos com primor, cavaleiros que andam montados em cavalos, todos mancebos cobiçáveis.

On sons of Asshur she hath doted, Governors and prefects, Neighbouring ones -- clothed in perfection, Horsemen, riding on horses, Desirable young men all of them.

13 E vi que se tinha contaminado; o caminho de ambas era o mesmo.

And I see that she hath been defiled, One way to them both.

14 E ela aumentou as suas impudicícias; porque viu homens pintados na parede, imagens dos caldeus, pintadas de vermelho,

And she doth add unto her whoredoms, And she seeth graved men on the wall, Pictures of Chaldeans, graved with red lead,

15 c om os seus lombos cingidos, tendo largos turbantes sobre as cabeças, todos com o parecer de príncipes, semelhantes aos filhos de Babilônia em Caldéia, terra do seu nascimento.

Girded with a girdle on their loins, Dyed attire spread out on their heads, The appearance of rulers -- all of them, The likeness of sons of Babylon, Chaldea is the land of their birth.

16 E la se apaixonou deles, ao lançar sobre eles os olhos; e lhes mandou mensageiros até Caldéia.

And she doteth on them at the sight of her eyes, And sendeth messengers to them, to Chaldea.

17 E ntão vieram a ela os filhos de Babilônia para o leito dos amores, e a contaminaram com as suas impudicícias; e ela se contaminou com eles; então a sua alma deles se alienou.

And come in unto her do sons of Babylon, To the bed of loves, And they defile her with their whoredoms, And she is defiled with them, And her soul is alienated from them.

18 A ssim pôs a descoberto as suas devassidões, e descobriu a sua vergonha; então a minha alma se alienou dela, assim como já se alienara a minha alma de sua irmã.

And she revealeth her whoredoms, And she revealeth her nakedness, And alienated is My soul from off her, As alienated was My soul from off her sister.

19 T odavia ela multiplicou as suas prostituições, lembrando-se dos dias da sua mocidade, em que se prostituira na terra do Egito,

And she multiplieth her whoredoms, To remember the days of her youth, When she went a-whoring in the land of Egypt.

20 a paixonando-se dos seus amantes, cujas carnes eram como as de jumentos, e cujo fluxo era como o de cavalos.

And she doteth on their paramours, Whose flesh the flesh of asses, And the issue of horses -- their issue.

21 A ssim desejaste a luxúria da tua mocidade, quando os egípcios apalpavam os teus seios, para violentar os peitos da tua mocidade.

Thou lookest after the wickedness of thy youth, In dealing out of Egypt thy loves, For the sake of the breasts of thy youth.

22 P or isso, ó Aolibá, assim diz o Senhor Deus: Eis que eu suscitarei contra ti os teus amantes, dos quais se alienara a tua alma, e os trarei contra ti de todos os lados:

Therefore, O Aholibah, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I am stirring up thy lovers against thee, From whom thy soul hath been alienated, And have brought them in against thee from round about.

23 O s filhos de Babilônia, e todos os caldeus de Pecode, e de Soá, e de Coa, juntamente com todos os filhos da Assíria, mancebos cobiçáveis, governadores e magistrados, todos eles príncipes e homens de renome, todos eles montados a cavalo.

Sons of Babylon, and of all Chaldea, Pekod, and Shoa, and Koa, All the sons of Asshur with them, Desirable young men, governors and prefects, All of them -- rulers and proclaimed ones, Riding on horses, all of them.

24 E virão contra ti com armas, carros e carroças, e com ajuntamento de povos; e se porão contra ti em redor com paveses, e escudos, e capacetes; e lhes entregarei o julgamento, e te julgarão segundo os seus juizos.

And they have come in against thee, With arms, rider, and wheel, And with an assembly of peoples; Target, and shield, and helmet, They do set against thee round about, And I have set before them judgment, They have judged thee in their Judgments.

25 E porei contra ti o meu zelo, e usarão de indignação contigo. Tirar-te-ão o nariz e as orelhas; e o que te ficar de resto cairá ã espada. Tomarão os teus filhos e as tuas filhas, e o que em ti ficar será consumido pelo fogo.

And I have set My jealousy against thee, And they have dealt with thee in fury, Thy nose and thine ears they turn aside, And thy posterity by sword falleth, They, thy sons and thy daughters do take away, And thy posterity is devoured by fire.

26 T ambém te despirão os teus vestidos, e te tomarão as tuas jóias de adorno.

And they have stripped thee of thy garments, And have taken thy beauteous jewels.

27 A ssim farei cessar em ti a tua luxúria e a tua prostituição trazida da terra do Egito; de modo que não levantarás os teus olhos para eles, nem te lembrarás mais do Egito.

And I have caused thy wickedness to cease from thee, And thy whoredoms out of the land of Egypt, And thou liftest not up thine eyes unto them, And Egypt thou dost not remember again.

28 P ois assim diz o Senhor Deus: Eis que te entrego na mão dos que odeias, na mão daqueles de quem está alienada a tua alma;

For thus said the Lord Jehovah: Lo, I am giving thee into a hand that thou hast hated, Into a hand from which thou wast alienated.

29 e eles te tratarão com ódio, e levarão todo o fruto do teu trabalho, e te deixarão nua e despida; e descobrir-se-á a vergonha da tua prostituição, e a tua luxúria, e as tuas devassidões.

And they have dealt with thee in hatred, And they have taken all thy labour, And they have left thee naked and bare, And revealed hath been the nakedness of thy whoredoms, And the wickedness of thy whoredoms.

30 E stas coisas se te farão, porque te prostituíste após as nações, e te contaminaste com os seus ídolos.

To do these things to thee, In thy going a-whoring after nations, Because thou hast been defiled with their idols,

31 N o caminho de tua irmã andaste; por isso entregarei o seu cálice na tua mão.

In the way of thy sister thou hast walked, And I have given her cup into thy hand.

32 A ssim diz o Senhor Deus: Beberás o cálice de tua irmã, o qual é fundo e largo; servirás de riso e escárnio; o cálice leva muito.

Thus said the Lord Jehovah: The cup of thy sister thou dost drink, The deep and the wide one, (Thou art for laughter and for scorn,) Abundant to contain.

33 D e embriaguez e de dor te encherás, do cálice de espanto e de assolação, do cálice de tua irmã Samária.

With drunkenness and sorrow thou art filled, A cup of astonishment and desolation, The cup of thy sister Samaria.

34 B ebê-lo-ás pois, e esgotá-lo-ás, e roerás os seus cacos, e te rasgarás teus próprios peitos; pois eu o falei, diz o Senhor Deus.

And thou hast drunk it, and hast drained, And its earthen ware thou dost gnaw, And thine own breasts thou pluckest off, For I have spoken, An affirmation of the Lord Jehovah,

35 P ortanto, assim diz o Senhor Deus: Como te esqueceste de mim, e me lançaste para trás das tuas costas, também carregarás com a tua luxúria e as tuas devassidões.

Therefore, thus said the Lord Jehovah: Because thou hast forgotten Me, And thou dost cast Me behind thy back, Even thou also bear thy wickedness and thy whoredoms.'

36 D isse-me mais o Senhor: Filho do homem, julgarás a Aolá e a Aolibá? Mostra-lhes, então, as suas abominações.

And Jehovah saith unto me, `Son of man, Dost thou judge Aholah and Aholibah? Declare then to them their abominations.

37 P ois adulteraram, e sangue se acha nas suas mãos; com os seus ídolos adulteraram, e até lhes ofereceram em holocausto, para serem consumidos, os seus filhos, que de mim geraram.

For they have committed adultery, And blood in their hands, With their idols they committed adultery, And also their sons whom they bore to Me, They caused to pass over to them for food.

38 E ainda isto me fizeram: contaminaram o meu santuário no mesmo dia, e profanaram os meus sábados

Again, this they have done to Me, They defiled My sanctuary in that day, And My sabbaths they have polluted.

39 P orquanto, havendo sacrificado seus filhos aos seus ídolos, vinham ao meu santuário no mesmo dia para o profanarem; e eis que assim fizeram no meio da minha casa.

And in their slaughtering their sons to their idols They also come in unto My sanctuary in that day to pollute it, And lo, thus they have done in the midst of My house,

40 A lém disto mandaram vir uns homens de longe, aos quais fora enviado um mensageiro, e eis que vieram. Por amor deles te levaste, pintaste os teus olhos, e te ornaste de enfeites,

And also that they send to men coming from afar, Unto whom a messenger is sent, And lo, they have come in for whom thou hast washed, Painted thine eyes, and put on adornment.

41 e te assentaste sobre um leito de honra, diante do qual estava uma mesa preparada; e puseste sobre ela o meu incenso e o meu óleo.

And thou hast sat on a couch of honour, And a table arrayed before it, And My perfume and My oil placed on it.

42 O uvia-se ali a voz de uma multidão satisfeita; e com homens de classe baixa foram trazidos beberrões do deserto; e eles puseram braceletes nas mãos das mulheres, e coroas de esplendor nas suas cabeças.

And the voice of a multitude at ease with her, And unto men of the common people are brought in Sabeans from the wilderness, And they put bracelets on their hands, And a beauteous crown on their heads.

43 E ntão disse eu da envelhecida em adultérios: Agora deveras se contaminarão com ela e ela com eles.

And I say of the worn-out one in adulteries, Now they commit her whoredoms -- she also!

44 E entraram a ela, como quem entra a uma prostituta; assim entraram a Aolá e a Aolibá, mulheres lascivas.

And they come in unto her, As the coming in unto a whorish woman, So they have come in unto Aholah, And unto Aholibah -- the wicked women.

45 D e maneira que homens justos são os que as julgarão como se julgam as adúlteras, e como se julgam as que derramam o sangue; porque adúlteras são, e sangue há nas suas mãos.

As to righteous men, they judge them with the judgment of adulteresses, And the judgment of women shedding blood, For they adulteresses, And blood in their hands.

46 P ois assim diz o Senhor Deus: Farei subir contra elas uma hoste e as entregarei ao tumulto e ao saque.

For thus said the Lord Jehovah: Bring up against them an assembly, And give them to trembling and to spoiling.

47 E a hoste apedrejá-las-á, e as matará ã espada; trucidará a seus filhos e suas filhas, e queimará as suas casas a fogo.

And they have cast at them the stone of the assembly, And cut them with their swords, Their sons and their daughters they do slay, And their houses with fire they burn.

48 A ssim farei cessar da terra a lascívia, para que se escarmentem todas as mulheres, e não procedam conforme a vossa lascivia.

And I have caused wickedness to cease from the land, And instructed have been all the women, And they do not according to your wickedness.

49 E a vós vos pagarão o vosso procedimento lascivo e levareis os pecados dos vossos ídolos; e sabereis que eu sou o Senhor Deus.

And they have put your wickedness on you, And the sins of your idols ye bear, And ye have known that I the Lord Jehovah!
