1 D isse mais o Senhor a Moisés no monte Sinai:

And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, in mount Sinai, saying,

2 F ala aos filhos de Israel e dize-lhes: Quando tiverdes entrado na terra que eu vos dou, a terra guardará um sábado ao Senhor.

`Speak unto the sons of Israel, and thou hast said unto them, When ye come in unto the land which I am giving to you, then hath the land kept a sabbath to Jehovah.

3 S eis anos semearás a tua terra, e seis anos podarás a tua vinha, e colherás os seus frutos;

`Six years thou dost sow thy field, and six years thou dost prune thy vineyard, and hast gathered its increase,

4 m as no sétimo ano haverá sábado de descanso solene para a terra, um sábado ao Senhor; não semearás o teu campo, nem podarás a tua vinha.

and in the seventh year a sabbath of rest is to the land, a sabbath to Jehovah; thy field thou dost not sow, and thy vineyard thou dost not prune;

5 O que nascer de si mesmo da tua sega não segarás, e as uvas da tua vide não tratada não vindimarás; ano de descanso solene será para a terra.

the spontaneous growth of thy harvest thou dost not reap, and the grapes of thy separated thing thou dost not gather, a year of rest it is to the land.

6 M as os frutos do sábado da terra vos serão por alimento, a ti, e ao teu servo, e ã tua serva, e ao teu jornaleiro, e ao estrangeiro que peregrina contigo,

`And the sabbath of the land hath been to you for food, to thee, and to thy man-servant, and to thy handmaid, and to thy hireling, and to thy settler, who are sojourning with thee;

7 e ao teu gado, e aos animais que estão na tua terra; todo o seu produto será por mantimento.

and to thy cattle, and to the beast which in thy land, is all thine increase for food.

8 T ambém contarás sete sábados de anos, sete vezes sete anos; de maneira que os dias dos sete sábados de anos serão quarenta e nove anos.

`And thou hast numbered to thee seven sabbaths of years, seven years seven times, and the days of the seven sabbaths of years have been to thee nine and forty years,

9 E ntão, no décimo dia do sétimo mês, farás soar fortemente a trombeta; no dia da expiação fareis soar a trombeta por toda a vossa terra.

and thou hast caused a trumpet of shouting to pass over in the seventh month, in the tenth of the month; in the day of the atonements ye do cause a trumpet to pass over through all your land;

10 E santificareis o ano qüinquagésimo, e apregoareis liberdade na terra a todos os seus habitantes; ano de jubileu será para vós; pois tornareis, cada um ã sua possessão, e cada um ã sua família.

and ye have hallowed the year, the fiftieth year; and ye have proclaimed liberty in the land to all its inhabitants; a jubilee it is to you; and ye have turned back each unto his possession; yea, each unto his family ye do turn back.

11 E sse ano qüinquagésimo será para vós jubileu; não semeareis, nem segareis o que nele nascer de si mesmo, nem nele vindimareis as uvas das vides não tratadas.

`A jubilee it, the fiftieth year, a year it is to you; ye sow not, nor reap its spontaneous growth, nor gather its separated things;

12 P orque é jubileu; santo será para vós; diretamente do campo comereis o seu produto.

for a jubilee it, holy it is to you; out of the field ye eat its increase;

13 N esse ano do jubileu tornareis, cada um ã sua possessão.

in the year of this jubilee ye turn back each unto his possession.

14 S e venderdes alguma coisa ao vosso próximo ou a comprardes da mão do vosso próximo, não vos defraudareis uns aos outros.

`And when thou sellest anything to thy fellow, or buyest from the hand of thy fellow, ye do not oppress one another;

15 C onforme o número de anos desde o jubileu é que comprarás ao teu próximo, e conforme o número de anos das colheitas é que ele te venderá.

by the number of years after the jubilee thou dost buy from thy fellow; by the number of the years of increase he doth sell to thee;

16 Q uanto mais forem os anos, tanto mais aumentarás o preço, e quanto menos forem os anos, tanto mais abaixarás o preço; porque é o número das colheitas que ele te vende.

according to the multitude of the years thou dost multiply its price, and according to the fewness of the years thou dost diminish its price; for a number of increases he is selling to thee;

17 N enhum de vós oprimirá ao seu próximo; mas temerás o teu Deus; porque eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus.

and ye do not oppress one another, and thou hast been afraid of thy God; for I Jehovah your God.

18 P elo que observareis os meus estatutos, e guardareis os meus preceitos e os cumprireis; assim habitareis seguros na terra.

`And ye have done My statutes, and My judgments ye keep, and have done them, and ye have dwelt on the land confidently,

19 E la dará o seu fruto, e comereis a fartar; e nela habitareis seguros.

and the land hath given its fruit, and ye have eaten to satiety, and have dwelt confidently on it.

20 S e disserdes: Que comeremos no sétimo ano, visto que não haveremos de semear, nem fazer a nossa colheita?

`And when ye say, What do we eat in the seventh year, lo, we do not sow, nor gather our increase?

21 e ntão eu mandarei a minha bênção sobre vós no sexto ano, e a terra produzirá fruto bastante para os três anos.

then I have commanded My blessing on you in the sixth year, and it hath made the increase for three years;

22 N o oitavo ano semeareis, e comereis da colheita velha; até o ano nono, até que venha a colheita nova, comereis da velha.

and ye have sown the eighth year, and have eaten of the old increase; until the ninth year, until the coming in of its increase, ye do eat the old.

23 T ambém não se venderá a terra em perpetuidade, porque a terra é minha; pois vós estais comigo como estrangeiros e peregrinos:

`And the land is not sold -- to extinction, for the land Mine, for sojourners and settlers ye with Me;

24 P ortanto em toda a terra da vossã possessão concedereis que seja remida a terra.

and in all the land of your possession a redemption ye do give to the land.

25 S e teu irmão empobrecer e vender uma parte da sua possessão, virá o seu parente mais chegado e remirá o que seu irmao vendeu.

`When thy brother becometh poor, and hath sold his possession, then hath his redeemer who is near unto him come, and he hath redeemed the sold thing of his brother;

26 E se alguém não tiver remidor, mas ele mesmo tiver enriquecido e achado o que basta para o seu resgate,

and when a man hath no redeemer, and his own hand hath attained, and he hath found as sufficient its redemption,

27 c ontará os anos desde a sua venda, e o que ficar do preço da venda restituirá ao homem a quem a vendeu, e tornará ã sua possessao.

then he hath reckoned the years of its sale, and hath given back that which is over to the man to whom he sold, and he hath returned to his possession.

28 M as, se as suas posses não bastarem para reavê-la, aquilo que tiver vendido ficará na mão do comprador até o ano do jubileu; porém no ano do jubileu sairá da posse deste, e aquele que vendeu tornará ã sua possessão.

`And if his hand hath not found sufficiency to give back to him, then hath his sold thing been in the hand of him who buyeth it till the year of jubilee; and it hath gone out in the jubilee, and he hath returned to his possession.

29 S e alguém vender uma casa de moradia em cidade murada, poderá remi-la dentro de um ano inteiro depois da sua venda; durante um ano inteiro terá o direito de a remir.

`And when a man selleth a dwelling-house a walled city, then hath his right of redemption been until the completion of a year from its selling; days -- is his right of redemption;

30 M as se, passado um ano inteiro, não tiver sido resgatada, essa casa que está na cidade murada ficará, em perpetuidade, pertencendo ao que a comprou, e ã sua descendência; não sairá o seu poder no jubileu.

and if it is not redeemed until the fulness to him of a perfect year, then hath the house which in a walled city been established to extinction to the buyer of it, to his generations; it goeth not out in the jubilee;

31 T odavia as casas das aldeias que não têm muro ao redor serão consideradas como o campo da terra; poderão ser remidas, e sairão do poder do comprador no jubileu.

and a house of the villages which have no wall round about, on the field of the country is reckoned; redemption is to it, and in the jubilee it goeth out.

32 T ambém, no tocante

`As to cities of the Levites -- houses of the cities of their possession -- redemption age-during is to the Levites;

33 E se alguém comprar dos levitas uma casa, a casa comprada e a cidade da sua possessão sairão do poder do comprador no jubileu; porque as casas das cidades dos levitas são a sua possessão no meio dos filhos de Israel.

as to him who redeemeth from the Levites, both the sale of a house and the city of his possession have gone out in the jubilee, for the houses of the cities of the Levites are their possession in the midst of the sons of Israel.

34 M as o campo do arrabalde das suas cidades não se poderá vender, porque lhes é possessão perpétua.

And a field, a suburb of their cities, is not sold; for a possession age-during it to them.

35 T ambém, se teu irmão empobrecer ao teu lado, e lhe enfraquecerem as mãos, sustentá-lo-ás; como estrangeiro e peregrino viverá contigo.

`And when thy brother is become poor, and his hand hath failed with thee, then thou hast kept hold on him, sojourner and settler, and he hath lived with thee;

36 N ão tomarás dele juros nem ganho, mas temerás o teu Deus, para que teu irmao viva contigo.

thou takest no usury from him, or increase; and thou hast been afraid of thy God; and thy brother hath lived with thee;

37 N ão lhe darás teu dinheiro a juros, nem os teus víveres por lucro.

thy money thou givest not to him in usury, and for increase thou givest not thy food;

38 E u sou o Senhor vosso Deus, que vos tirei da terra do Egito, para vos dar a terra de Canaã, para ser o vosso Deus.

I Jehovah your God, who hath brought you out of the land of Egypt, to give to you the land of Canaan, to become your God.

39 T ambém, se teu irmão empobrecer ao teu lado e vender-se a ti, não o farás servir como escravo.

`And when thy brother becometh poor with thee, and he hath been sold to thee, thou dost not lay on him servile service;

40 C omo jornaleiro, como peregrino estará ele contigo; até o ano do jubileu te servirá;

as an hireling, as a settler, he is with thee, till the year of the jubilee he doth serve with thee, --

41 e ntão sairá do teu serviço, e com ele seus filhos, e tornará ã sua família, ã possessao de seus pais.

then he hath gone out from thee, he and his sons with him, and hath turned back unto his family; even unto the possession of his fathers he doth turn back.

42 P orque são meus servos, que tirei da terra do Egito; não serão vendidos como escravos.

`For they My servants, whom I have brought out from the land of Egypt: they are not sold the sale of a servant;

43 N ão dominarás sobre ele com rigor, mas temerás o teu Deus.

thou rulest not over him with rigour, and thou hast been afraid of thy God.

44 E quanto aos escravos ou

`And thy man-servant and thy handmaid whom thou hast of the nations who round about you; of them ye buy man-servant and handmaid,

45 T ambém os comprareis dentre os filhos dos estrangeiros que peregrinarem entre vós, tanto dentre esses como dentre as suas famílias que estiverem convosco, que tiverem eles gerado na vossa terra; e vos serão por possessão.

and also of the sons of the settlers who are sojourning with you, of them ye buy, and of their families who with you, which they have begotten in your land, and they have been to you for a possession;

46 E deixá-los-eis por herança aos vossos filhos depois de vós, para os herdarem como possessão; desses tomareis os vossos escravos para sempre; mas sobre vossos irmãos, os filhos de Israel, não dominareis com rigor, uns sobre os outros.

and ye have taken them for inheritance to your sons after you, to occupy a possession; to the age ye lay service upon them, but upon your brethren, the sons of Israel, one with another, thou dost not rule over him with rigour.

47 S e um estrangeiro ou peregrino que estiver contigo se tornar rico, e teu irmão, que está com ele, empobrecer e vender-se ao estrangeiro ou peregrino que está contigo, ou ã linhagem da família do estrangeiro,

`And when the hand of a sojourner or settler with thee attaineth, and thy brother with him hath become poor, and he hath been sold to a sojourner, a settler with thee, or to the root of the family of a sojourner,

48 d epois que se houver vendido, poderá ser remido; um de seus irmãos o poderá remir;

after he hath been sold, there is a right of redemption to him; one of his brethren doth redeem him,

49 o u seu tio, ou o filho de seu tio, ou qualquer parente chegado da sua família poderá remi-lo; ou, se ele se tiver tornado rico, poderá remir-se a si mesmo.

or his uncle, or a son of his uncle, doth redeem him, or any of the relations of his flesh, of his family, doth redeem him, or -- his own hand hath attained -- then he hath been redeemed.

50 E com aquele que o comprou fará a conta desde o ano em que se vendeu a ele até o ano do jubileu; e o preço da sua venda será conforme o número dos anos; conforme os dias de um jornaleiro estará com ele.

`And he hath reckoned with his buyer from the year of his being sold to him till the year of jubilee, and the money of his sale hath been by the number of years; as the days of an hireling it is with him.

51 S e ainda faltarem muitos anos, conforme os mesmos restituirá, do dinheiro pelo qual foi comprado, o preço da sua redenção;

`If yet many years, according to them he giveth back his redemption, from the money of his purchase.

52 e se faltarem poucos anos até o ano do jubileu, fará a conta com ele; segundo o número dos anos restituirá o preço da sua redenção.

`And if few are left of the years till the year of jubilee, then he hath reckoned with him, according to his years he doth give back his redemption;

53 C omo servo contratado de ano em ano, estará com o comprador; o qual não dominará sobre ele com rigor diante dos teus olhos.

as an hireling, year by year, he is with him, and he doth not rule him with rigour before thine eyes.

54 E , se não for remido por nenhum desses meios, sairá livre no ano do jubileu, e com ele seus filhos.

`And if he is not redeemed in these, then he hath gone out in the year of jubilee, he and his sons with him.

55 P orque os filhos de Israel são meus servos; eles são os meus servos que tirei da terra do Egito. Eu sou o Senhor vosso Deus.

For to Me the sons of Israel servants; My servants they, whom I have brought out of the land of Egypt; I, Jehovah, your God.
