1 O Jehovah, rebuke me not in thy wrath; Neither chasten me in thy hot displeasure.

Господи, не в ярости упрекай меня и не во гневе наказывай.

2 F or thine arrows stick fast in me, And thy hand presseth me sore.

Ведь стрелы Твои пронзили меня, и рука Твоя на мне тяжела.

3 T here is no soundness in my flesh because of thine indignation; Neither is there any health in my bones because of my sin.

От гнева Твоего нет на теле моем здорового места. От греха моего не осталось здоровья в костях моих.

4 F or mine iniquities are gone over my head: As a heavy burden they are too heavy for me.

Грехи мои меня поглотили; Они, как бремя, отягощают меня.

5 M y wounds are loathsome and corrupt, Because of my foolishness.

Мои раны смердят и гноятся из-за безумия моего.

6 I am pained and bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long.

Я согбен и совсем поник; весь день хожу скорбя.

7 F or my loins are filled with burning; And there is no soundness in my flesh.

Палящей болью полны мои бедра, нет на теле моем здорового места.

8 I am faint and sore bruised: I have groaned by reason of the disquietness of my heart.

Я изнемог и полностью сокрушен, и от муки сердца кричу.

9 L ord, all my desire is before thee; And my groaning is not hid from thee.

Все мои желания перед Тобой, Владыка, и вздохи мои от Тебя не скрыты.

10 M y heart throbbeth, my strength faileth me: As for the light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me.

Сердце мое колотится, силы мне изменили, даже свет в глазах моих меркнет.

11 M y lovers and my friends stand aloof from my plague; And my kinsmen stand afar off.

Мои друзья и те, кто любит меня, из-за язв меня избегают, и соседи мои стоят вдалеке.

12 T hey also that seek after my life lay snares for me; And they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, And meditate deceits all the day long.

Те, кто хочет убить меня, ставят мне сети; те, кто хочет мне зла, говорят о моей погибели; целый день они строят козни.

13 B ut I, as a deaf man, hear not; And I am as a dumb man that openeth not his mouth.

А я, как глухой, не слышу, как немой, не размыкаю уст.

14 Y ea, I am as a man that heareth not, And in whose mouth are no reproofs.

Да, я стал как тот, кто не слышит, в чьих устах не найти ответа.

15 F or in thee, O Jehovah, do I hope: Thou wilt answer, O Lord my God.

Господи, на Тебя я уповаю; Ты ответишь, Владыка, мой Бог.

16 F or I said, Lest they rejoice over me: When my foot slippeth, they magnify themselves against me.

Я сказал: «Не дай им торжествовать и кичиться передо мной, когда мои ноги колеблются».

17 F or I am ready to fall, And my sorrow is continually before me.

Я близок к падению, и боль моя передо мной всегда.

18 F or I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.

Я признаю мое беззаконие и скорблю о моем грехе.

19 B ut mine enemies are lively, and are strong; And they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied.

Могущественны и крепки те, кто враждует со мной; умножились ненавидящие меня без причины.

20 T hey also that render evil for good Are adversaries unto me, because I follow the thing that is good.

Злом воздают мне за добро враждуют со мною за то, что добру я следую.

21 F orsake me not, O Jehovah: O my God, be not far from me.

Господи, не оставь меня! Не удаляйся от меня, мой Бог.

22 M ake haste to help me, O Lord, my salvation.

Поспеши мне на помощь, Владыка, мой Спаситель!
