1 A nd it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the ground, and daughters were born unto them,

Люди начали умножаться на земле, и у них стали рождаться дочери.

2 t hat the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all that they chose.

Сыны Божьи увидели, что человеческие дочери прекрасны, и стали брать их себе в жены, каждый по своему выбору.

3 A nd Jehovah said, My spirit shall not strive with man for ever, for that he also is flesh: yet shall his days be a hundred and twenty years.

Господь сказал: – Не вечно будет Дух Мой в противоборстве с человеком, потому что человек развращен; пусть будут дни их сто двадцать лет.

4 T he Nephilim were in the earth in those days, and also after that, when the sons of God came unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them: the same were the mighty men that were of old, the men of renown.

В те дни, после того как сыны Божьи входили к человеческим дочерям и имели от них детей, были на земле исполины. Это были герои, знаменитые с древних времен.

5 A nd Jehovah saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

Господь увидел, что люди на земле развратились, и все их мысли постоянно склоняются к злу.

6 A nd it repented Jehovah that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.

Господь пожалел, что сотворил человека на земле, и сердце Его наполнилось болью.

7 A nd Jehovah said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the ground; both man, and beast, and creeping things, and birds of the heavens; for it repenteth me that I have made them.

И сказал Господь: – Я сотру с лица земли человеческий род, который Я сотворил – и людей, и животных, и пресмыкающихся, и птиц небесных, – потому что Я сожалею, что создал их. Построение ковчега для спасения Ноя

8 B ut Noah found favor in the eyes of Jehovah.

Но Ной нашел милость в глазах Господа.

9 T hese are the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man, and perfect in his generations: Noah walked with God.

Вот рассказ о Ное. Среди людей того времени, лишь только Ной был праведен и безупречен; он ходил с Богом.

10 A nd Noah begat three sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.

У Ноя было трое сыновей: Сим, Хам и Иафет.

11 A nd the earth was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.

В Божьих глазах земля преисполнилась разврата и насилия.

12 A nd God saw the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted their way upon the earth.

Бог увидел, как испорчена земля из-за того, что все люди на земле извратили свои пути.

13 A nd God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth.

Тогда Бог сказал Ною: – Я положу конец всякому существу. потому что из-за него земля преисполнилась насилия. Я погублю его вместе со всей землей.

14 M ake thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.

Сделай себе ковчег из кипарисового дерева и сделай в нем комнаты и осмоли его изнутри и снаружи.

15 A nd this is how thou shalt make it: the length of the ark three hundred cubits, the breadth of it fifty cubits, and the height of it thirty cubits.

Вот как ты должен его построить: ковчег должен быть 300 локтей в длину, 50 локтей в ширину и 30 локтей в высоту.

16 A light shalt thou make to the ark, and to a cubit shalt thou finish it upward; and the door of the ark shalt thou set in the side thereof; with lower, second, and third stories shalt thou make it.

Сделай для него крышу и в верху сведи ковчег к одному локтю. Поставь сбоку дверь и сделай нижнюю, среднюю и верхнюю палубы.

17 A nd I, behold, I do bring the flood of waters upon this earth, to destroy all flesh, wherein is the breath of life, from under heaven; everything that is in the earth shall die.

Я наведу на землю воды потопа, чтобы погубить все, что живет под небом, всякое существо, в котором дышит жизнь. Все, что есть на земле, погибнет.

18 B ut I will establish my covenant with thee; and thou shalt come into the ark, thou, and thy sons, and thy wife, and thy sons' wives with thee.

Но с тобой Я заключу завет, и ты войдешь в ковчег – ты, и твои сыновья, и твоя жена, и жены твоих сыновей.

19 A nd of every living thing of all flesh, two of every sort shalt thou bring into the ark, to keep them alive with thee; they shall be male and female.

Введи в ковчег всех живых существ по паре, самца и самку, чтобы они остались в живых вместе с тобой.

20 O f the birds after their kind, and of the cattle after their kind, of every creeping thing of the ground after its kind, two of every sort shall come unto thee, to keep them alive.

К тебе придут, чтобы тоже остаться в живых, по паре от каждого вида птиц, зверей и каждого вида пресмыкающихся.

21 A nd take thou unto thee of all food that is eaten, and gather it to thee; and it shall be for food for thee, and for them.

Возьми в запас самой разной еды, чтобы кормиться и тебе, и им.

22 T hus did Noah; according to all that God commanded him, so did he.

Ной сделал все точно так, как велел ему Бог.
