1 H e that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the assembly of Jehovah.

2 A bastard shall not enter into the assembly of Jehovah; even to the tenth generation shall none of his enter into the assembly of Jehovah.

Никто рожденный от незаконного брака и никто из его потомков – даже до десятого поколения – не может войти в общество Господа.

3 A n Ammonite or a Moabite shall not enter into the assembly of Jehovah; even to the tenth generation shall none belonging to them enter into the assembly of Jehovah for ever:

Никакой аммонитянин или моавитянин и никто из их потомков – даже до десятого поколения – не может войти в общество Господа.

4 b ecause they met you not with bread and with water in the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt, and because they hired against thee Balaam the son of Beor from Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee.

Ведь они не вышли встречать вас с хлебом и водой на вашем пути, когда вы вышли из Египта. И еще они наняли Валаама, сына Беора из Пефора в Араме Нахараим, чтобы проклясть тебя.

5 N evertheless Jehovah thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but Jehovah thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because Jehovah thy God loved thee.

Но Господь, твой Бог, не послушал Валаама и превратил для тебя проклятие в благословение, потому что Господь, твой Бог, любит тебя.

6 T hou shalt not seek their peace nor their prosperity all thy days for ever.

Не ищи с ними дружеского союза, пока ты жив.

7 T hou shalt not abhor an Edomite; for he is thy brother: thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian, because thou wast a sojourner in his land.

Но не гнушайся эдомитянина, ведь он твой брат. Не гнушайся египтянина, потому что ты жил чужеземцем в его стране.

8 T he children of the third generation that are born unto them shall enter into the assembly of Jehovah.

Дети, которые родятся у них, в третьем поколении могут войти в общество Господа. Нечистота в лагере

9 W hen thou goest forth in camp against thine enemies, then thou shalt keep thee from every evil thing.

Когда ты расположишься лагерем против своих врагов, берегись всего нечистого.

10 I f there be among you any man, that is not clean by reason of that which chanceth him by night, then shall he go abroad out of the camp, he shall not come within the camp:

Если один из твоих мужчин станет нечист от случившегося ему ночью, он должен выйти за пределы лагеря и оставаться там.

11 b ut it shall be, when evening cometh on, he shall bathe himself in water; and when the sun is down, he shall come within the camp.

Но с приближением вечера он должен вымыться и на закате может вернуться в лагерь.

12 T hou shalt have a place also without the camp, whither thou shalt go forth abroad:

Выбери место за пределами лагеря, куда будешь ходить облегчаться.

13 a nd thou shalt have a paddle among thy weapons; and it shall be, when thou sittest down abroad, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which cometh from thee:

Пусть в твоем снаряжении будет орудие, которым можно копать, и когда облегчишься, выкопай ямку и зарой испражнения.

14 f or Jehovah thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy, that he may not see an unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.

Ведь Господь, твой Бог, ходит по твоему лагерю, чтобы защищать тебя и отдавать тебе твоих врагов. Твой лагерь должен быть свят, чтобы Он не увидел среди тебя что-нибудь непристойное и не отвернулся от тебя. Различные законы

15 T hou shalt not deliver unto his master a servant that is escaped from his master unto thee:

Если раб ищет у тебя убежища, не передавай его господину.

16 h e shall dwell with thee, in the midst of thee, in the place which he shall choose within one of thy gates, where it pleaseth him best: thou shalt not oppress him.

Пусть он живет у тебя там, где ему понравится, в городе, который выберет. Не притесняй его.

17 T here shall be no prostitute of the daughters of Israel, neither shall there be a sodomite of the sons of Israel.

Ни одна израильтянка не должна становиться храмовой блудницей, и ни один израильтянин не должен быть храмовым блудником.

18 T hou shalt not bring the hire of a harlot, or the wages of a dog, into the house of Jehovah thy God for any vow: for even both these are an abomination unto Jehovah thy God.

Не вноси платы блудницы или блудника в дом Господа, твоего Бога, чтобы исполнить какой бы то ни было обет, потому что Господу, твоему Богу, отвратительны они оба.

19 T hou shalt not lend upon interest to thy brother; interest of money, interest of victuals, interest of anything that is lent upon interest:

Не давай в долг под проценты своему брату ни денег, ни пищи, ни чего-либо другого, что можно дать в долг под проценты.

20 u nto a foreigner thou mayest lend upon interest; but unto thy brother thou shalt not lend upon interest, that Jehovah thy God may bless thee in all that thou puttest thy hand unto, in the land whither thou goest in to possess it.

Ты можешь давать в долг под проценты чужеземцу, но не своему брату, чтобы Господь, твой Бог, благословил тебя во всем, что делается твоими руками в земле, куда ты вступаешь, чтобы завладеть ею.

21 W hen thou shalt vow a vow unto Jehovah thy God, thou shalt not be slack to pay it: for Jehovah thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee.

Если ты дашь обет Господу, твоему Богу, не медли исполнить его, потому что Господь, твой Бог, непременно потребует от тебя его исполнения, и на тебе будет грех.

22 B ut if thou shalt forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in thee.

Но если ты удержишься от обета, то не будешь виновен.

23 T hat which is gone out of thy lips thou shalt observe and do; according as thou hast vowed unto Jehovah thy God, a freewill-offering, which thou hast promised with thy mouth.

Все, что бы ты ни сказал, непременно должно быть исполнено, потому что ты добровольно дал обет Господу, твоему Богу, своими устами.

24 W hen thou comest into thy neighbor's vineyard, then thou mayest eat of grapes thy fill at thine own pleasure; but thou shalt not put any in thy vessel.

Если ты войдешь в чужой виноградник – можешь есть его плоды досыта, сколько захочешь, но ничего не клади в корзину.

25 W hen thou comest into thy neighbor's standing grain, then thou mayest pluck the ears with thy hand; but thou shalt not move a sickle unto thy neighbor's standing grain.

Если придешь на жатву другого человека – можешь собирать колосья руками, но не заноси серпа на его жатву.
