1 O God thou hast cast us off, thou hast broken us down; Thou hast been angry; oh restore us again.

2 T hou hast made the land to tremble; thou hast rent it: Heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.

Ты заставил землю дрожать и расколол ее; исцели ее раны – она содрогается.

3 T hou hast showed thy people hard things: Thou hast made us to drink the wine of staggering.

Ты послал Своему народу безотрадные времена. Ты напоил нас вином, от которого нас шатает.

4 T hou hast given a banner to them that fear thee, That it may be displayed because of the truth. Selah

Но для тех, кто Тебя боится, поднял Ты знамя, чтобы они, собравшись к нему, стали для лука недосягаемы. Пауза

5 T hat thy beloved may be delivered, Save with thy right hand, and answer us.

Сохрани нас правой рукой Своей и ответь нам, чтобы возлюбленные Тобой спаслись.

6 G od hath spoken in his holiness: I will exult; I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

Бог обещал в Своем святилище: «Я разделю, торжествуя, Шехем, и долину Суккот размерю.

7 G ilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the defence of my head; Judah is my sceptre.

Мой – Галаад и Мой – Манассия, Ефрем – Мой шлем, Иуда – Мой скипетр.

8 M oab is my washpot; Upon Edom will I cast my shoe: Philistia, shout thou because of me.

Моав – Моя умывальная чаша, на Эдом Я брошу Мою сандалию, над землей филистимлян торжествующе воскликну».

9 W ho will bring me into the strong city? Who hath led me unto Edom?

Кто приведет меня в укрепленный город? Кто доведет меня до Эдома?

10 H ast not thou, O God, cast us off? And thou goest not forth, O God, with our hosts.

Не Ты ли, Боже, Кто нас отринул, и не выходишь с войсками нашими?

11 G ive us help against the adversary; For vain is the help of man.

Окажи нам помощь в борьбе с врагом, потому что людская помощь бесполезна.

12 T hrough God we shall do valiantly; For he it is that will tread down our adversaries.

С Богом мы одержим победу; Он низвергнет наших врагов.
