2 J ulgue ele o teu povo com justiça, e os teus pobres com eqüidade.

He will judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with justice.

3 Q ue os montes tragam paz ao povo, como também os outeiros, com justiça.

The mountains shall bring prosperity to the people. The hills bring the fruit of righteousness.

4 J ulgue ele os aflitos do povo, salve os filhos do necessitado, e esmague o opressor.

He will judge the poor of the people. He will save the children of the needy, and will break the oppressor in pieces.

5 V iva ele enquanto existir o sol, e enquanto durar a lua, por todas as gerações.

They shall fear you while the sun endures; and as long as the moon, throughout all generations.

6 D esça como a chuva sobre o prado, como os chuveiros que regam a terra.

He will come down like rain on the mown grass, as showers that water the earth.

7 N os seus dias floreça a justiça, e haja abundância de paz enquanto durar a lua.

In his days, the righteous shall flourish, and abundance of peace, until the moon is no more.

8 D omine de mar a mar, e desde o Rio até as extremidades da terra.

He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, from the River to the ends of the earth.

9 I nclinem-se diante dele os seus adversários, e os seus inimigos lambam o pó.

Those who dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him. His enemies shall lick the dust.

10 P aguem-lhe tributo os reis de Társis e das ilhas; os reis de Sabá e de Seba ofereçam-lhe dons.

The kings of Tarshish and of the islands will bring tribute. The kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.

11 T odos os reis se prostrem perante ele; todas as nações o sirvam.

Yes, all kings shall fall down before him. All nations shall serve him.

12 P orque ele livra ao necessitado quando clama, como também ao aflito e ao que não tem quem o ajude.

For he will deliver the needy when he cries; the poor, who has no helper.

13 C ompadece-se do pobre e do necessitado, e a vida dos necessitados ele salva.

He will have pity on the poor and needy. He will save the souls of the needy.

14 E le os liberta da opressão e da violência, e precioso aos seus olhos é o sangue deles.

He will redeem their soul from oppression and violence. Their blood will be precious in his sight.

15 V iva, pois, ele; e se lhe dê do ouro de Sabá; e continuamente se faça por ele oração, e o bendigam em todo o tempo.

They shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba. Men shall pray for him continually. They shall bless him all day long.

16 H aja abundância de trigo na terra sobre os cumes dos montes; ondule o seu fruto como o Líbano, e das cidades floresçam homens como a erva da terra.

Abundance of grain shall be throughout the land. Its fruit sways like Lebanon. Let it flourish, thriving like the grass of the field.

17 P ermaneça o seu nome eternamente; continue a sua fama enquanto o sol durar, e os homens sejam abençoados nele; todas as nações o chamem bem-aventurado.

His name endures forever. His name continues as long as the sun. Men shall be blessed by him. All nations will call him blessed.

18 B endito seja o Senhor Deus, o Deus de Israel, o único que faz maravilhas.

Praise be to Yahweh God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds.

19 B endito seja para sempre o seu nome glorioso, e encha-se da sua glória toda a terra. Amém e amém.
