1 C antai ao Senhor um cântico novo, porque ele tem feito maravilhas; a sua destra e o seu braço santo lhe alcançaram a vitória.

Sing to Yahweh a new song, for he has done marvelous things! His right hand, and his holy arm, have worked salvation for him.

2 O Senhor fez notória a sua salvação, manifestou a sua justiça perante os olhos das nações.

Yahweh has made known his salvation. He has openly shown his righteousness in the sight of the nations.

3 L embrou-se da sua misericórdia e da sua fidelidade para com a casa de Israel; todas as extremidades da terra viram a salvação do nosso Deus.

He has remembered his loving kindness and his faithfulness toward the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

4 C elebrai com júbilo ao Senhor, todos os habitantes da terra; dai brados de alegria, regozijai-vos, e cantai louvores.

Make a joyful noise to Yahweh, all the earth! Burst out and sing for joy, yes, sing praises!

5 L ouvai ao Senhor com a harpa; com a harpa e a voz de canto.

Sing praises to Yahweh with the harp, with the harp and the voice of melody.

6 C om trombetas, e ao som de buzinas, exultai diante do Rei, o Senhor.

With trumpets and sound of the ram’s horn, make a joyful noise before the King, Yahweh.

7 B rame o mar e a sua plenitude, o mundo e os que nele habitam;

Let the sea roar with its fullness; the world, and those who dwell therein.

8 b atam palmas os rios; ã uma regozijem-se os montes

Let the rivers clap their hands. Let the mountains sing for joy together.

9 d iante do Senhor, porque vem julgar a terra; com justiça julgará o mundo, e os povos com eqüidade.

Let them sing before Yahweh, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with equity.
