1 T hen I heard a loud voice coming from the house of God. The voice said to the seven angels, “Go and pour out the seven jars of God’s anger onto the earth!”

E ouvi, vinda do santuário, uma grande voz, que dizia aos sete anjos: Ide e derramai sobre a terra as sete taças, da ira de Deus.

2 T he first angel poured out his jar of God’s anger onto the earth. Painful sores were given to everyone who had the mark of the wild animal and who worshiped his god. The Second Jar—Death in the Sea

Então foi o primeiro e derramou a sua taça sobre a terra; e apareceu uma chaga ruim e maligna nos homens que tinham o sinal da besta e que adoravam a sua imagem.

3 T he second angel poured out his jar of God’s anger onto the sea. The water became like the blood of a dead man. Every living thing in the sea died. The Third Jar—Water Turns to Blood

O segundo anjo derramou a sua taça no mar, que se tornou em sangue como de um morto, e morreu todo ser vivente que estava no mar.

4 T he third angel poured out his jar of God’s anger onto the rivers and places where water comes out of the earth. The water turned to blood.

O terceiro anjo derramou a sua taça nos rios e nas fontes das águas, e se tornaram em sangue.

5 I heard the angel of the waters saying, “You are right in punishing by sending this trouble. You are the Holy One Who was and is and will be.

E ouvi o anjo das águas dizer: Justo és tu, que és e que eras, o Santo; porque julgaste estas coisas;

6 T hey have poured out the blood of God’s people and of the early preachers. You have given them blood to drink. They are getting the pay that is coming to them.”

porque derramaram o sangue de santos e de profetas, e tu lhes tens dado sangue a beber; eles o merecem.

7 I heard a voice from the altar saying, “Lord God, the All-powerful One! What You decide about people is right and true.” The Fourth Jar—Burning Heat

E ouvi uma voz do altar, que dizia: Na verdade, ó Senhor Deus Todo-Poderoso, verdadeiros e justos são os teus juízos.

8 T he fourth angel poured out his jar of God’s anger onto the sun. It was allowed to burn men with its fire.

O quarto anjo derramou a sua taça sobre o sol, e foi-lhe permitido que abrasasse os homens com fogo.

9 M en were burned with the heat of this fire and they called God bad names even when He had the power over these kinds of trouble. They were not sorry for their sins and did not turn from them and honor Him. The Fifth Jar—Darkness

E os homens foram abrasados com grande calor; e blasfemaram o nome de Deus, que tem poder sobre estas pragas; e não se arrependeram para lhe darem glória.

10 T he fifth angel poured out his jar of God’s anger upon the throne of the wild animal. The whole nation of the wild animal was turned into darkness. Those who worshiped him bit their tongues because of the pain.

O quinto anjo derramou a sua taça sobre o trono da besta, e o seu reino se fez tenebroso; e os homens mordiam de dor as suas línguas.

11 T hey called the God of heaven bad names because of their pain and their sores. They were not sorry for what they had done. The Sixth Jar—the Euphrates River Dries Up

E por causa das suas dores, e por causa das suas chagas, blasfemaram o Deus do céu; e não se arrependeram das suas obras.

12 T he sixth angel poured out his jar of God’s anger onto the great Euphrates River. The water dried up. In this way, the kings of the countries of the east could cross over.

O sexto anjo derramou a sua taça sobre o grande rio Eufrates; e a sua água secou-se, para que se preparasse o caminho dos reis que vêm do oriente.

13 T hen I saw three demons that looked like frogs. They came out of the mouths of the dragon and the second wild animal and the false preacher.

E da boca do dragão, e da boca da besta, e da boca do falso profeta, vi saírem três espíritos imundos, semelhantes a rãs.

14 T hese are demons that do powerful works. These demons go to all the kings of all the earth. They bring them together for the war of the great day of the All-powerful God.

Pois são espíritos de demônios, que operam sinais; os quais vão ao encontro dos reis de todo o mundo, para os congregar para a batalha do grande dia do Deus Todo-Poderoso.

15 ( See! I will come like a robber. The man is happy who stays awake and keeps his clothes ready. He will not be walking around without clothes and be ashamed.)

(Eis que venho como ladrão. Bem-aventurado aquele que vigia, e guarda as suas vestes, para que não ande nu, e não se veja a sua nudez.)

16 T hen the demons brought the kings together in the place called Armageddon in the Hebrew language. The Seventh Jar—the Earth Shakes and Hail Falls

E eles os congregaram no lugar que em hebraico se chama Armagedom.

17 T he seventh angel poured out his jar of God’s anger into the air. A loud voice came from the throne in the house of God, saying, “It is all done!”

O sétimo anjo derramou a sua taça no ar; e saiu uma grande voz do santuário, da parte do trono, dizendo: Está feito.

18 T hen there were voices and lightning and thunder and the earth shook. The earth shook much more than it had ever shaken before.

E houve relâmpagos e vozes e trovões; houve também um grande terremoto, qual nunca houvera desde que há homens sobre a terra, terremoto tão forte quão grande;

19 T he big and strong city of Babylon was split in three parts. The cities of other nations fell to the ground. Then God remembered the strong city of Babylon. He made her drink the wine from His cup of much anger.

e a grande cidade fendeu-se em três partes, e as cidades das nações caíram; e Deus lembrou-se da grande Babilônia, para lhe dar o cálice do vinho do furor da sua ira.

20 E very island went down into the sea. No mountain could be found.

Todas ilhas fugiram, e os montes não mais se acharam.

21 L arge pieces of hail fell from heaven on men. These pieces were about as heavy as an older child. But men called God bad names because of so much trouble from the hail.

E sobre os homens caiu do céu uma grande saraivada, pedras quase do peso de um talento; e os homens blasfemaram de Deus por causa da praga da saraivada; porque a sua praga era mui grande.
