1 ¶ The earth is the LORD’s, and the fullness thereof; the world and they that dwell therein.

Do Senhor é a terra e a sua plenitude; o mundo e aqueles que nele habitam.

2 F or he has founded it upon the seas and established it upon the rivers.

Porque ele a fundou sobre os mares, e a firmou sobre os rios.

3 ¶ Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in the place of his holiness?

Quem subirá ao monte do Senhor, ou quem estará no seu lugar santo?

4 H e that has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not taken my name in vain, nor sworn deceitfully.

Aquele que é limpo de mãos e puro de coração; que não entrega a sua alma ã vaidade, nem jura enganosamente.

5 H e shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his saving health.

Este receberá do Senhor uma bênção, e a justiça do Deus da sua salvação.

6 T his is the generation of those that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.

Tal é a geração daqueles que o buscam, daqueles que buscam a tua face, ó Deus de Jacó.

7 ¶ Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and lift yourselves up, ye everlasting doors, and the King of glory shall come in.

Levantai, ó portas, as vossas cabeças; levantai-vos, ó entradas eternas, e entrará o Rei da Glória.

8 W ho is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.

Quem é o Rei da Glória? O Senhor forte e poderoso, o Senhor poderoso na batalha.

9 L ift up your heads, O ye gates; lift yourselves up, ye everlasting doors, and the King of glory shall come in.

Levantai, ó portas, as vossas cabeças; levantai-vos, ó entradas eternas, e entrará o Rei da Glória.

10 W ho is this King of glory? The LORD of the hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

Quem é esse Rei da Glória? O Senhor dos exércitos; ele é o Rei da Glória.
