1 T o You, O Lord, I lift up my soul.

К Тебе, Господи, возношу я душу мою,

2 O my God, in You I trust, Do not let me be ashamed; Do not let my enemies exult over me.

на Тебя, мой Бог, уповаю. Да не буду я постыжен; да не будут враги мои торжествовать.

3 I ndeed, none of those who wait for You will be ashamed; Those who deal treacherously without cause will be ashamed.

Никто из надеющихся на Тебя не постыдится вовек, но пусть посрамятся те, кто вероломствует без причины.

4 M ake me know Your ways, O Lord; Teach me Your paths.

Господи, покажи мне Твои пути, стезям Твоим научи меня.

5 L ead me in Your truth and teach me, For You are the God of my salvation; For You I wait all the day.

Наставь меня в Твоей истине, научи меня, потому что Ты – Бог моего спасения, и я всегда на Тебя надеюсь.

6 R emember, O Lord, Your compassion and Your lovingkindnesses, For they have been from of old.

Вспомни, Господи, любовь Свою и милость, потому что они извечны.

7 D o not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions; According to Your lovingkindness remember me, For Your goodness’ sake, O Lord.

Не вспоминай грехов моей юности и проступков моих. По милости Твоей вспомни меня, потому что Ты благ, Господи.

8 G ood and upright is the Lord; Therefore He instructs sinners in the way.

Господь благ и праведен, поэтому наставляет грешников на путь.

9 H e leads the humble in justice, And He teaches the humble His way.

Направляет Он кротких к правде и учит их пути Своему.

10 A ll the paths of the Lord are lovingkindness and truth To those who keep His covenant and His testimonies.

Все пути Господни – милость и верность к хранящим завет Его и заповеди.

11 F or Your name’s sake, O Lord, Pardon my iniquity, for it is great.

Ради Имени Твоего, Господи, прости вину мою, хоть она и велика.

12 W ho is the man who fears the Lord ? He will instruct him in the way he should choose.

Кто есть человек, боящийся Господа? Господь укажет ему, какой путь избрать.

13 H is soul will abide in prosperity, And his descendants will inherit the land.

Он будет жить в благополучии, и потомки его унаследуют землю.

14 T he secret of the Lord is for those who fear Him, And He will make them know His covenant.

Совет Господа – для тех, кто Его боится, Он им открывает Свой завет.

15 M y eyes are continually toward the Lord, For He will pluck my feet out of the net.

Глаза мои всегда обращены к Господу, ведь это Он извлекает ноги мои из сети.

16 T urn to me and be gracious to me, For I am lonely and afflicted.

Обратись ко мне и будь милостив, ведь я одинок и измучен.

17 T he troubles of my heart are enlarged; Bring me out of my distresses.

Скорби сердца моего умножились – спаси меня от моей беды.

18 L ook upon my affliction and my trouble, And forgive all my sins.

Посмотри на мое горе и муки и прости все мои грехи.

19 L ook upon my enemies, for they are many, And they hate me with violent hatred.

Посмотри, как много моих врагов, какой лютой ненавистью ненавидят меня!

20 G uard my soul and deliver me; Do not let me be ashamed, for I take refuge in You.

Сбереги мою жизнь и избавь меня, от позора меня спаси, ведь я нашел в Тебе прибежище.

21 L et integrity and uprightness preserve me, For I wait for You.

Пусть хранят меня непорочность и праведность, ведь я на Тебя надеюсь.

22 R edeem Israel, O God, Out of all his troubles.

Боже, избавь Израиль от всех его горестей.
