1 O n one of the days while He was teaching the people in the temple and preaching the gospel, the chief priests and the scribes with the elders confronted Him,

В один из дней, когда Иисус учил в храме, проповедуя Радостную Весть, к Нему пришли первосвященники и учители Закона со старейшинами.

2 a nd they spoke, saying to Him, “Tell us by what authority You are doing these things, or who is the one who gave You this authority?”

– Скажи нам, чьей властью Ты все это делаешь и кто дал Тебе эту власть? – спросили они.

3 J esus answered and said to them, “I will also ask you a question, and you tell Me:

В ответ Иисус сказал: – Я тоже задам вам вопрос. Скажите,

4 W as the baptism of John from heaven or from men?”

от кого Иоанн получил свое право крестить – с Небес или от людей?

5 T hey reasoned among themselves, saying, “If we say, ‘From heaven,’ He will say, ‘Why did you not believe him?’

Они стали совещаться между собой: – Если мы скажем: «С Небес», то Он спросит: «Почему же вы ему не поверили?»

6 B ut if we say, ‘From men,’ all the people will stone us to death, for they are convinced that John was a prophet.”

Если скажем: «От людей», то весь народ побьет нас камнями, ведь они убеждены, что Иоанн был пророком.

7 S o they answered that they did not know where it came from.

– Мы не знаем, от кого, – ответили они.

8 A nd Jesus said to them, “Nor will I tell you by what authority I do these things.” Parable of the Vine-growers

– Тогда и Я вам не скажу, чьей властью Я все это делаю, – сказал им Иисус. Притча о злых виноградарях (Мат. 21: 33-46; Мк. 12: 1-12)

9 A nd He began to tell the people this parable: “A man planted a vineyard and rented it out to vine-growers, and went on a journey for a long time.

Он начал рассказывать народу притчу: – Один человек посадил виноградник. Он отдал его внаем виноградарям, а сам уехал в далекую страну на долгое время.

10 A t the harvest time he sent a slave to the vine-growers, so that they would give him some of the produce of the vineyard; but the vine-growers beat him and sent him away empty-handed.

Когда пришло время, он послал слугу к виноградарям, чтобы они дали причитающуюся ему часть урожая. Виноградари же избили слугу и отослали его с пустыми руками.

11 A nd he proceeded to send another slave; and they beat him also and treated him shamefully and sent him away empty-handed.

Он послал другого слугу, но они и этого избили, поиздевались над ним и отослали с пустыми руками.

12 A nd he proceeded to send a third; and this one also they wounded and cast out.

Он послал третьего слугу. Они и этого изранили и выбросили из виноградника.

13 T he owner of the vineyard said, ‘What shall I do? I will send my beloved son; perhaps they will respect him.’

Тогда хозяин виноградника подумал: «Что же мне делать? Пошлю своего любимого сына, может, хоть его они устыдятся».

14 B ut when the vine-growers saw him, they reasoned with one another, saying, ‘This is the heir; let us kill him so that the inheritance will be ours.’

Когда же виноградари увидели сына, они решили: «Это наследник. Давайте убьем его, чтобы наследство стало нашим».

15 S o they threw him out of the vineyard and killed him. What, then, will the owner of the vineyard do to them?

Они выбросили его из виноградника и убили. Что теперь сделает с ними хозяин виноградника?

16 H e will come and destroy these vine-growers and will give the vineyard to others.” When they heard it, they said, “ May it never be!”

Он придет и убьет тех виноградарей, а виноградник отдаст другим. Слышавшие это воскликнули: – Пусть этого не случится!

17 B ut Jesus looked at them and said, “What then is this that is written: ‘ The stone which the builders rejected, This became the chief corner stone ’?

Но Иисус, взглянув на них, сказал: – Что означают слова Писания: «Камень, Который отвергли строители, стал краеугольным»?

18 E veryone who falls on that stone will be broken to pieces; but on whomever it falls, it will scatter him like dust.” Tribute to Caesar

Каждый, кто упадет на Тот Камень, разобьется вдребезги, а на кого Он упадет, того раздавит.

19 T he scribes and the chief priests tried to lay hands on Him that very hour, and they feared the people; for they understood that He spoke this parable against them.

Учители Закона и первосвященники, поняв, что эту притчу Иисус рассказал о них, хотели немедленно арестовать Его, но побоялись народа. Вопрос об уплате налогов (Мат. 22: 15-22; Мк. 12: 13-17)

20 S o they watched Him, and sent spies who pretended to be righteous, in order that they might catch Him in some statement, so that they could deliver Him to the rule and the authority of the governor.

Они стали внимательно следить за Иисусом и подослали к Нему людей, которые, притворясь искренними, попытались бы подловить Его на слове, чтобы можно было отдать Его во власть наместника.

21 T hey questioned Him, saying, “Teacher, we know that You speak and teach correctly, and You are not partial to any, but teach the way of God in truth.

Те спросили Иисуса: – Учитель, мы знаем, что Ты правильно говоришь и учишь. Ты беспристрастен и истинно учишь Божьему пути.

22 I s it lawful for us to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?”

Следует ли нам платить налог кесарю или нет?

23 B ut He detected their trickery and said to them,

Иисус видел их лукавство и сказал:

24 “ Show Me a denarius. Whose likeness and inscription does it have?” They said, “Caesar’s.”

– Покажите Мне динарий. Кто на нем изображен, и чье на нем имя? – Кесаревы, – ответили они.

25 A nd He said to them, “Then render to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”

– Вот и отдавайте кесарево кесарю, а Божье – Богу, – сказал Он им.

26 A nd they were unable to catch Him in a saying in the presence of the people; and being amazed at His answer, they became silent. Is There a Resurrection?

Они не могли подловить Его перед народом ни на каком Его слове, и, удивленные Его ответом, замолчали. Саддукеи задают Иисусу вопрос о воскресении мертвых (Мат. 22: 23-33; Мк. 12: 18-27)

27 N ow there came to Him some of the Sadducees (who say that there is no resurrection),

К Иисусу подошли несколько саддукеев, которые утверждали, что нет воскресения мертвых. Они спросили Его:

28 a nd they questioned Him, saying, “Teacher, Moses wrote for us that if a man’s brother dies, having a wife, and he is childless, his brother should marry the wife and raise up children to his brother.

– Учитель, Моисей написал, что если человек умрет и его жена останется без детей, то его брат должен жениться на вдове и восстановить сына своему брату.

29 N ow there were seven brothers; and the first took a wife and died childless;

Так вот, было семь братьев. Первый брат женился и умер бездетным.

30 a nd the second

Затем второй

31 a nd the third married her; and in the same way all seven died, leaving no children.

и третий женились на ней, и так все семеро. И все они умерли, не оставив детей.

32 F inally the woman died also.

Потом умерла и женщина.

33 I n the resurrection therefore, which one’s wife will she be? For all seven had married her.”

Итак, после воскресения, чьей женой она будет, ведь все семеро были женаты на ней?

34 J esus said to them, “The sons of this age marry and are given in marriage,

Иисус ответил им: – Люди этого века женятся и выходят замуж.

35 b ut those who are considered worthy to attain to that age and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry nor are given in marriage;

Те же, кто удостоится жить в будущем веке и будет воскрешен из мертвых, не будут ни жениться, ни выходить замуж,

36 f or they cannot even die anymore, because they are like angels, and are sons of God, being sons of the resurrection.

и умереть уже не смогут, но будут подобны ангелам. Они сыновья Бога, потому что участвуют в воскресении.

37 B ut that the dead are raised, even Moses showed, in the passage about the burning bush, where he calls the Lord the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.

А то, что мертвые воскресают, показал Моисей в истории с терновым кустом, когда он назвал Господа «Богом Авраама, Богом Исаака и Богом Иакова».

38 N ow He is not the God of the dead but of the living; for all live to Him.”

Он Бог не мертвых, а живых, потому что для Него все живы!

39 S ome of the scribes answered and said, “Teacher, You have spoken well.”

Некоторые из учителей Закона сказали: – Хорошо Ты ответил, Учитель!

40 F or they did not have courage to question Him any longer about anything.

И больше уже никто не решался задавать Ему вопросы. Кем является Иисус? (Мат. 22: 41-46; Мк. 12: 35-37)

41 T hen He said to them, “How is it that they say the Christ is David’s son?

Затем Иисус спросил их: – Почему говорят, что Христос – Сын Давида?

42 F or David himself says in the book of Psalms, ‘ The Lord said to my Lord, “ Sit at My right hand,

Давид ведь сам сказал в книге Псалмов: «Сказал Господь Господу моему: Сядь по правую руку от Меня,

43 U ntil I make Your enemies a footstool for Your feet.”’

пока Я не повергну врагов Твоих к ногам Твоим».

44 T herefore David calls Him ‘Lord,’ and how is He his son?”

Итак, Давид называет Его Господом, как же в таком случае Он может быть его Сыном? Иисус предостерегает от лицемерия (Мат. 23: 1-7; Мк. 12: 38-39)

45 A nd while all the people were listening, He said to the disciples,

Весь народ слушал Иисуса, а Он сказал Своим ученикам:

46 “ Beware of the scribes, who like to walk around in long robes, and love respectful greetings in the market places, and chief seats in the synagogues and places of honor at banquets,

– Остерегайтесь учителей Закона. Они ходят в длинных одеждах и любят, когда их приветствуют на площадях, любят сидеть на самых почетных местах в синагогах и на званых обедах.

47 w ho devour widows’ houses, and for appearance’s sake offer long prayers. These will receive greater condemnation.”

Они разоряют дома вдов и напоказ долго молятся. Таких ждет очень суровое наказание.
