And the sons of Javan: Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Rodanim.

8 С ыновья Хама: Куш, Мицраим, Пут и Ханаан.

The sons of Ham: Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.

9 С ыновья Куша: Сева, Хавила, Савта, Раама и Савтеха. Сыновья Раамы: Шева и Дедан.

And the sons of Cush: Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raama, and Sabteca. And the sons of Raamah: Sheba, and Dedan.

10 К уш был отцом Нимрода, который стал первым на земле могучим воином.

And Cush begat Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one in the earth.

11 М ицраим был отцом лудеев, анамеев, легавеев, нафтухеев,

And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,

12 п атрусеев, каслухеев (от которых произошли филистимляне) и кафтореев.

and Pathrusim, and Casluhim (from whence came the Philistines), and Caphtorim.

13 Х анаан был отцом Сидона, его первенца, Хетта,

And Canaan begat Sidon his first-born, and Heth,

14 И евусея, Аморрея, Гергесея,

and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,

15 Х ивея, Аркея, Синея,

and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,

16 А рвадея, Цемарея, Хамафея. Потомки Сима (Быт. 10: 21-29; 11: 10-26)

and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.

17 С ыновья Сима: Елам, Ашшур, Арпахшад, Луд, Арам. Сыновья Арама: Уц, Хул, Гетер, Мешех.

The sons of Shem: Elam, and Asshur, and Arpachshad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.

18 А рпахшад был отцом Шелаха, а Шелах – отцом Евера.

And Arpachshad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.

19 У Евера родилось двое сыновей: одного звали Пелег (потому что в его дни земля была разделена), а его брата – Иоктан.

And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; for in his days the earth was divided; and his brother's name was Joktan.

20 И октан был отцом Алмодада, Шалефа, Хацармавета, Иераха,

And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,

21 Г адорама, Узала, Диклы,

and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,

22 Е вала, Авимаила, Шевы,

and Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,

23 О фира, Хавилы и Иовава. Все они были сыновьями Иоктана.

and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.

24 С им, Арпахшад, Шелах;

Shem, Arpachshad, Shelah,

25 Е вер, Пелег, Реу;

Eber, Peleg, Reu,

26 С еруг, Нахор, Терах;

Serug, Nahor, Terah,

27 А врам ( позже он был назван Авраамом). Сыновья Авраама

Abram (the same is Abraham).

28 С ыновья Авраама: Исаак и Измаил. Потомки Авраама от Агари (Быт. 25: 12-16)

The sons of Abraham: Isaac, and Ishmael.

These are their generations: the first-born of Ishmael, Nebaioth; then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,

30 М ишма, Дума, Масса, Хадад, Тема,

Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,

31 И етур, Нафиш и Кедма. Это сыновья Измаила. Потомки Авраама от Хеттуры (Быт. 25: 1-4)

Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael.

32 С ыновья, которых родила Хеттура, наложница Авраама: Зимран, Иокшан, Медан, Мадиан, Ишбак и Шуах. Сыновья Иокшана: Шева и Дедан.

And the sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she bare Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan: Sheba, and Dedan.

33 С ыновья Мадиана: Ефа, Ефер, Ханох, Авида, Елдага – все они потомки Хеттуры. Потомки Авраама от Сарры

And the sons of Midian: Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the sons of Keturah.

34 А враам был отцом Исаака. Сыновья Исаака: Исав и Израиль. Потомки Исава (Быт. 36: 10-14)

And Abraham begat Isaac. The sons of Isaac: Esau, and Israel.

35 С ыновья Исава: Елифаз, Рагуил, Иеуш, Ялам, и Корах.

The sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jalam, and Korah.

36 С ыновья Елифаза: Теман, Омар, Цефо, Гатам, Кеназ, от Тимны – Амалик.

The sons of Eliphaz: Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.

37 С ыновья Рагуила: Нахат, Зерах, Шамма и Миза. Исконные жители Эдома (Быт. 36: 20-28)

The sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.

38 С ыновья Сеира: Лотан, Шовал, Цивеон, Ана, Дишон, Ецер и Дишан.

And the sons of Seir: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.

39 С ыновья Лотана: Хори, Гомам. Сестрой Лотана была Тимна.

And the sons of Lotan: Hori, and Homam; and Timna was Lotan's sister.

40 С ыновья Шовала: Алеан, Манахат, Евал, Шефо и Онам. Сыновья Цивеона: Аиа и Ана.

The sons of Shobal: Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sons of Zibeon: Aiah, and Anah.

41 С ын Аны: Дишон. Сыновья Дишона: Хемдан, Эшбан, Ифран и Херан.

The sons of Anah: Dishon. And the sons of Dishon: Hamran, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.

42 С ыновья Ецера: Билган, Зааван и Акан. Сыновья Дишана: Уц и Аран. Правители Эдома (Быт. 36: 31-43)

The sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zaavan, Jaakan. The sons of Dishan: Uz, and Aran.

43 В от цари, которые правили в Эдоме еще до того, как в Израиле появились цари: Бела, сын Беора, чей город назывался Дингава.

Now these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom, before there resigned any king over the children of Israel: Bela the son of Beor; and the name of his city was Dinhabah.

44 П осле смерти Белы царем вместо него стал Иовав, сын Зераха, из Боцры.

And Bela died, and Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.

45 П осле смерти Иовава царем вместо него стал Хушам из страны теманитян.

And Jobab died, and Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.

46 П осле смерти Хушама царем вместо него стал Гадад, сын Бедада, который разбил мадианитян в земле Моава. Его город назывался Авит.

And Husham died, and Hadad the son of Bedad, who smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Avith.

47 П осле смерти Гадада царем вместо него стал Самла из Масреки.

And Hadad died, and Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.

48 П осле смерти Самлы царем вместо него стал Саул из Реховота-на-Реке.

And Samlah died, and Shaul of Rehoboth by the River reigned in his stead.

49 П осле смерти Саула царем вместо него стал Баал-Ханан, сын Ахбора.

And Shaul died, and Baal-hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.

50 П осле смерти Баал-Ханана царем вместо него стал Гадад. Его город назывался Пау, а имя его жены было Мегетавеель; она была дочерью Матреда, внучкой Мезагава.

And Baal-hanan died, and Hadad reigned in his stead; and the name of his city was Pai: and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-zahab.

51 П отом умер и Гадад. Вождями Эдома были: Тимна, Алва, Иетет,

And Hadad died. And the chiefs of Edom were: chief Timna, chief Aliah, chief Jetheth,

52 О ливема, Эла, Пинон,

chief Oholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon,

53 К еназ, Теман, Мивцар,

chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar,

54 М агдиил, Ирам. Это вожди Эдома.

chief Magdiel, chief Iram. These are the chiefs of Edom.
