1 К ак желанно Твое жилище, о Господь, Бог Сил!

How amiable are thy tabernacles, O Jehovah of hosts!

2 И стомилась моя душа, желая быть во дворах храма Господа, сердце мое и плоть поют Богу живому.

My soul longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of Jehovah; My heart and my flesh cry out unto the living God.

3 Д аже воробей находит себе дом и ласточка – гнездо, чтобы вывести своих птенцов, у Твоего жертвенника, Господи, Бог Сил, Царь мой и Бог мой.

Yea, the sparrow hath found her a house, And the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, Even thine altars, O Jehovah of hosts, My King, and my God.

Blessed are they that dwell in thy house: They will be still praising thee. Selah

5 Б лагословен человек, сила которого в Тебе, в чьем сердце есть желание отправиться в Иерусалим.

Blessed is the man whose strength is in thee; In whose heart are the highways to Zion.

6 П роходя долиною Плача, они открывают в ней источники, и дождь покрывает ее водоемами.

Passing through the valley of Weeping they make it a place of springs; Yea, the early rain covereth it with blessings.

7 О ни крепнут все больше и больше, предстают перед Богом на Сионе.

They go from strength to strength; Every one of them appeareth before God in Zion.

8 О Господь, Бог Сил, услышь мою молитву; внемли мне, Бог Иакова. Пауза

O Jehovah God of hosts, hear my prayer; Give ear, O God of Jacob. Selah

9 В згляни, Боже, на царя, на щит наш; посмотри с благоволением на лицо Своего помазанника!

Behold, O God our shield, And look upon the face of thine anointed.

10 О дин день во дворах Твоих лучше тысячи вне его стен. Лучше быть у порога дома Божьего, чем жить в шатрах у нечестивых.

For a day in thy courts is better than a thousand. I had rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, Than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.

11 П отому что Господь Бог – солнце и щит, и награда Господа – благодать и слава. Тех, кто ходит непорочно, Он не лишает благ.

For Jehovah God is a sun and a shield: Jehovah will give grace and glory; No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

12 Г осподь Сил, блажен человек, уповающий на Тебя.

O Jehovah of hosts, Blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.
