1 Ч ерез два дня наступала Пасха и праздник Пресных хлебов. Первосвященники и учители Закона искали удобного случая, чтобы хитростью схватить Иисуса и убить.

Now after two days was the feast of the passover and the unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him with subtlety, and kill him:

2 – Только не во время праздника, – говорили они, – иначе народ может взбунтоваться. Женщина помазывает Иисуса дорогими благовониями (Мат. 26: 6-13; Лк. 7: 37-38; Ин. 12: 1-8)

for they said, Not during the feast, lest haply there shall be a tumult of the people.

3 И исус в это время был в Вифании, в доме прокаженного Симона. Он возлежал за столом, когда в дом вошла женщина с алебастровым кувшином очень дорогого ароматического масла, приготовленного из чистого нарда. Отбив запечатанное горлышко, она вылила масло на голову Иисусу.

And while he was in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster cruse of ointment of pure nard very costly; and she brake the cruse, and poured it over his head.

4 Н екоторые из присутствовавших возмутились: – Зачем так тратить благовония?

But there were some that had indignation among themselves, saying, To what purpose hath this waste of the ointment been made?

5 В едь его можно было продать больше чем за триста динариев, а деньги раздать нищим, – упрекали они ее.

For this ointment might have been sold for above three hundred shillings, and given to the poor. And they murmured against her.

6 Н о Иисус сказал: – Оставьте ее, что вы ее упрекаете? Она сделала для Меня доброе дело.

But Jesus said, Let her alone; why trouble ye her? she hath wrought a good work on me.

7 П отому что нищие всегда с вами, и вы можете делать им добро, когда захотите, а Я не всегда буду с вами.

For ye have the poor always with you, and whensoever ye will ye can do them good: but me ye have not always.

8 О на сделала, что могла: заранее помазала Мое тело для погребения.

She hath done what she could; she hath anointed my body beforehand for the burying.

9 Г оворю вам истину: во всем мире, везде, где будет возвещена Радостная Весть, там в память об этой женщине будет рассказано и о том, что она сделала. Иуда решает предать Иисуса (Мат. 26: 14-16; Лк. 22: 3-6)

And verily I say unto you, Wheresoever the gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, that also which this woman hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.

10 И уда Искариот, один из двенадцати, пошел к первосвященникам, чтобы предать им Иисуса.

And Judas Iscariot, he that was one of the twelve, went away unto the chief priests, that he might deliver him unto them.

11 У слышав, для чего он пришел, они обрадовались и обещали заплатить ему. И Иуда стал искать удобного случая, чтобы предать Иисуса. Приготовление к празднику Пасхи (Мат. 26: 17-19; Лк. 22: 7-13)

And they, when they heard it, were glad, and promised to give him money. And he sought how he might conveniently deliver him unto them.

12 В первый день праздника Пресных хлебов, когда закалывали пасхальных ягнят, ученики спросили Иисуса: – Куда нам пойти, чтобы приготовить Тебе пасхальный ужин?

And on the first day of unleavened bread, when they sacrificed the passover, his disciples say unto him, Where wilt thou that we go and make ready that thou mayest eat the passover?

13 И Он послал двух учеников, сказав им: – Идите в город, там вы встретите человека, несущего кувшин воды, идите за ним.

And he sendeth two of his disciples, and saith unto them, Go into the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him;

14 С кажите хозяину дома, куда этот человек войдет: «Учитель спрашивает: где Моя комната, в которой Я буду есть пасхальный ужин с Моими учениками?»

and wheresoever he shall enter in, say to the master of the house, The Teacher saith, Where is my guest-chamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?

15 О н покажет вам большую комнату наверху, приготовленную и убранную; там и приготовьте нам ужин.

And he will himself show you a large upper room furnished and ready: and there make ready for us.

16 У ченики пошли, вошли в город; и все произошло так, как им сказал Иисус. Они приготовили пасхальный ужин. Последний ужин Иисуса с учениками (Мат. 26: 20-29; Лк. 22: 17-23; 1 Кор. 11: 23-25)

And the disciples went forth, and came into the city, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.

17 В ечером Иисус пришел туда с двенадцатью.

And when it was evening he cometh with the twelve.

18 К огда они возлежали и ели, Иисус сказал: – Говорю вам истину: один из вас, кто сейчас ест со Мной, предаст Меня.

And as they sat and were eating, Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, One of you shall betray me, even he that eateth with me.

19 У чеников это сильно опечалило, и один за другим они стали спрашивать Его: – Не я ли?

They began to be sorrowful, and to say unto him one by one, Is it I?

20 – Один из двенадцати, – ответил Иисус, – тот, кто вместе со Мной обмакивает хлеб в блюдо.

And he said unto them, It is one of the twelve, he that dippeth with me in the dish.

21 Х отя Сын Человеческий уходит так, как о Нем сказано в Писании, но горе тому человеку, который предает Сына Человеческого! Лучше бы не родиться вообще тому человеку.

For the Son of man goeth, even as it is written of him: but woe unto that man through whom the Son of man is betrayed! good were it for that man if he had not been born.

22 К огда они ели, Иисус взял хлеб и, благословив, разломил его, дал им и сказал: – Возьмите, это Мое тело.

And as they were eating, he took bread, and when he had blessed, he brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take ye: this is my body.

23 З атем Он взял чашу, поблагодарил за нее и подал им, и они все пили из нее.

And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave to them: and they all drank of it.

24 – Это Моя кровь завета, проливаемая за многих, – сказал Иисус.

And he said unto them, This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many.

25 – Говорю вам истину: Я уже не буду пить от плода виноградного до того дня, когда Я буду пить новое вино в Божьем Царстве.

Verily I say unto you, I shall no more drink of the fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.

26 О ни спели и пошли на Масличную гору. Предсказание об отречении Петра (Мат. 26: 30-35; Лк. 22: 31-34; Ин. 13: 37-38)

And when they had sung a hymn, they went out unto the mount of Olives.

27 – Вы все отступитесь от Меня, – сказал им Иисус, – ведь написано: «Я поражу Пастуха, и разбегутся овцы».

And Jesus saith unto them, All ye shall be offended: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered abroad.

28 Н о когда Я воскресну, то пойду в Галилею и буду ждать вас там.

Howbeit, after I am raised up, I will go before you into Galilee.

29 П етр сказал Ему: – Даже если все Тебя оставят, я никогда этого не сделаю.

But Peter said unto him, Although all shall be offended, yet will not I.

30 – Говорю тебе истину, – сказал ему Иисус, – в эту ночь, прежде чем петух пропоет два раза, ты трижды отречешься от Меня.

And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, that thou to-day, even this night, before the cock crow twice, shalt deny me thrice.

31 Н о Петр уверял: – Даже если мне придется умереть с Тобой, я никогда не откажусь от Тебя. И все ученики говорили то же. Молитва Иисуса в Гефсиманском саду (Мат. 26: 36-46; Лк. 22: 39-46)

But he spake exceedingly vehemently, If I must die with thee, I will not deny thee. And in like manner also said they all.

32 О ни пришли на место, называемое Гефсимания, и Иисус сказал Своим ученикам: – Посидите здесь, пока Я буду молиться.

And they come unto a place which was named Gethsemane: and he saith unto his disciples, Sit ye here, while I pray.

33 С Собой Он взял Петра, Иакова и Иоанна. Его охватили ужас и тревога.

And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be greatly amazed, and sore troubled.

34 Т огда Он сказал им: – Душа моя объята смертельной печалью. Побудьте здесь и бодрствуйте.

And he saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful even unto death: abide ye here, and watch.

35 О тойдя немного, Он пал на землю и молился, чтобы, если возможно, этот час миновал Его.

And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass away from him.

36 – Абба! Отец! – сказал Он. – Ты все можешь! Пронеси эту чашу мимо Меня, но пусть будет не как Я хочу, а как Ты хочешь.

And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; remove this cup from me: howbeit not what I will, but what thou wilt.

37 О н возвратился к Своим ученикам и нашел их спящими. – Симон, – спросил Он Петра, – ты спишь? Неужели ты не мог пободрствовать хоть один час?

And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest thou not watch one hour?

38 Б одрствуйте и молитесь, чтобы вам не поддаться искушению. Дух бодр, но тело слабо.

Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

39 И исус снова ушел и молился теми же словами.

And again he went away, and prayed, saying the same words.

40 К огда Он вернулся, ученики опять спали, потому что их веки отяжелели; они не знали, что отвечать Иисусу.

And again he came, and found them sleeping, for their eyes were very heavy; and they knew not what to answer him.

41 В озвратившись в третий раз, Иисус сказал им: – Вы все спите и отдыхаете? Довольно! Время настало, и Сын Человеческий предается в руки грешников.

And he cometh the third time, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: it is enough; the hour is come; behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

42 В ставайте, идем. Вот уже и Мой предатель приблизился. Иисус предан и арестован (Мат. 26: 47-56; Лк. 22: 47-50; Ин. 18: 3-11)

Arise, let us be going: behold, he that betrayeth me is at hand.

43 О н еще говорил, как появился Иуда, один из двенадцати, и с ним толпа, вооруженная мечами и кольями. Их послали первосвященники, учители Закона и старейшины.

And straightway, while he yet spake, cometh Judas, one of the twelve, and with him a multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders.

44 П редатель так условился с ними: «Хватайте Того, Кого я поцелую, и уводите под стражей».

Now he that betrayed him had given them a token, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that is he; take him, and lead him away safely.

45 П ридя на место, Иуда сразу подошел к Иисусу и сказал. – Рабби! – и поцеловал Его.

And when he was come, straightway he came to him, and saith, Rabbi; and kissed him.

46 П ришедшие с Иудой, схватив Иисуса, взяли Его под стражу.

And they laid hands on him, and took him.

47 О дин из стоявших рядом вытащил меч, ударил им слугу первосвященника и отсек ему ухо.

But a certain one of them that stood by drew his sword, and smote the servant of the high priest, and struck off his ear.

48 – Что Я – разбойник, что вы пришли с мечами и кольями, чтобы арестовать Меня? – спросил их Иисус.

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Are ye come out, as against a robber, with swords and staves to seize me?

49 – Каждый день Я был с вами в храме и учил, и вы не схватили Меня. Но пусть исполнятся Писания.

I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and ye took me not: but this is done that the scriptures might be fulfilled.

50 В се ученики оставили Его и убежали.

And they all left him, and fled.

51 З а Иисусом пошел лишь один молодой человек, завернувшись в покрывало на голое тело. Когда его схватили,

And a certain young man followed with him, having a linen cloth cast about him, over his naked body: and they lay hold on him;

52 о н вырвался и убежал голый, оставив покрывало в руках у стражников. На допросе у первосвященника Каиафы (Мат. 26: 57-68; Лк. 22: 54-55, 63-71; Ин. 18: 12-13, 19-24)

but he left the linen cloth, and fled naked.

53 В доме первосвященника, куда привели Иисуса, собрались все первосвященники, старейшины и учители Закона.

And they led Jesus away to the high priest: and there come together with him all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes.

54 П етр, держась поодаль, прошел во двор первосвященника и сел со стражниками греться у костра.

And Peter had followed him afar off, even within, into the court of the high priest; and he was sitting with the officers, and warming himself in the light of the fire.

55 П ервовященники и весь Высший Совет искали показания против Иисуса, чтобы приговорить Его к смерти, но они ничего не могли найти.

Now the chief priests and the whole council sought witness against Jesus to put him to death; and found it not.

56 В ыступало много лжесвидетелей, но их показания не совпадали.

For many bare false witness against him, and their witness agreed not together.

57 Н ашлось несколько человек, которые встали и ложно заявили:

And there stood up certain, and bare false witness against him, saying,

58 – Мы слышали, как Он говорил: «Я разрушу этот храм, сотворенный руками людей, и в три дня построю другой, нерукотворный».

We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and in three days I will build another made without hands.

59 Н о и в этом их свидетельства не совпали.

And not even so did their witness agree together.

60 П отом первосвященник, встав посредине, спросил Иисуса: – Тебе нечего ответить на эти свидетельства против Тебя?

And the high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, saying, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?

61 Н о Иисус молчал, не отвечая ни слова. Первосвященник опять спросил Его: – Ты ли Христос, Сын Благословенного?

But he held his peace, and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked him, and saith unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?

62 – Я, – ответил Иисус, – и вы увидите Сына Человеческого сидящим по правую руку от Всемогущего и идущим на облаках небесных.

And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.

63 Р азорвав на себе одежды, первосвященник сказал: – Какие нам еще нужны свидетели?

And the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What further need have we of witnesses?

64 В ы сами слышали кощунство! Каково ваше решение? Все признали, что Он виновен и заслуживает смерти.

Ye have heard the blasphemy: what think ye? And they all condemned him to be worthy of death.

65 Т огда некоторые начали плевать на Него; Иисусу закрывали лицо, били Его кулаками и говорили: – Пророчествуй! Потом Его стали избивать стражники. Отречение Петра (Мат. 26: 69-75; Лк. 22: 54-62; Ин. 18: 15-18, 25-27)

And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say unto him, Prophesy: and the officers received him with blows of their hands.

66 П етр же в это время был во дворе. Туда пришла одна из служанок первосвященника

And as Peter was beneath in the court, there cometh one of the maids of the high priest;

67 и , увидев Петра, гревшегося у костра, всмотрелась в него и сказала: – Ты тоже был с Иисусом из Назарета.

and seeing Peter warming himself, she looked upon him, and saith, Thou also wast with the Nazarene, even Jesus.

68 Н о Петр отрицал это. – Я вообще не знаю, о чем ты говоришь, – сказал он и вышел во внешний двор. И тут пропел петух.

But he denied, saying, I neither know, nor understand what thou sayest: and he went out into the porch; and the cock crew.

69 С лужанка увидела Петра и там и опять стала говорить стоявшим рядом: – Это один из них.

And the maid saw him, and began again to say to them that stood by, This is one of them.

70 П етр снова отрицал. Но спустя немного времени стоявшие там люди опять сказали ему: – Точно, ты один из них, ты ведь галилеянин.

But he again denied it. And after a little while again they that stood by said to Peter, of a truth thou art one of them; for thou art a Galilaean.

71 Н о Петр начал клясться и божиться: – Я не знаю Человека, о Котором вы говорите.

But he began to curse, and to swear, I know not this man of whom ye speak.

72 И тотчас во второй раз пропел петух, и Петр вспомнил слова Иисуса: «Прежде чем два раза пропоет петух, ты трижды отречешься от Меня». И он горько заплакал.

And straightway the second time the cock crew. And Peter called to mind the word, how that Jesus said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. And when he thought thereon, he wept.
