1 Я люблю Господа, потому что Он услышал мой голос, мои моления.

I love Jehovah, because he heareth My voice and my supplications.

2 О н услышал меня, и потому буду призывать Его, пока жив.

Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, Therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.

3 С мерть объяла меня своими оковами, адские муки постигли меня; я познал бедствие и скорбь.

The cords of death compassed me, And the pains of Sheol gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.

4 Т огда я призвал Имя Господне: «О Господи, умоляю Тебя, избавь душу мою!»

Then called I upon the name of Jehovah: O Jehovah, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.

5 Г осподь милостив и праведен; милосерден Бог наш.

Gracious is Jehovah, and righteous; Yea, our God is merciful.

6 Х ранит Господь простодушных: когда я изнемогал, Он спас меня.

Jehovah preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he saved me.

7 В озвратись, душа моя, в свой покой, потому что Господь был благ к тебе.

Return unto thy rest, O my soul; For Jehovah hath dealt bountifully with thee.

8 Т ы избавил душу мою от смерти, глаза мои – от слез и ноги мои – от падения.

For thou hast delivered my soul from death, Mine eyes from tears, And my feet from falling.

9 Б уду ходить перед Господом на земле живых.

I will walk before Jehovah In the land of the living.

10 Я верил, поэтому я и говорил: «Я сильно сокрушен».

I believe, for I will speak: I was greatly afflicted:

11 В исступлении я сказал: «Всякий человек – лжец».

I said in my haste, All men are liars.

12 Ч ем воздам я Господу за всю Его доброту ко мне?

What shall I render unto Jehovah For all his benefits toward me?

13 Возьму чашу спасения и призову Имя Господне.

I will take the cup of salvation, And call upon the name of Jehovah.

14 И сполню мои обеты Господу перед всем Его народом.

I will pay my vows unto Jehovah, Yea, in the presence of all his people.

15 Д орога в глазах Господа смерть верных Ему.

Precious in the sight of Jehovah Is the death of his saints.

16 Г осподи, истинно, я – слуга Твой. Я – слуга Твой и сын служанки твоей. Ты освободил меня от цепей.

O Jehovah, truly I am thy servant: I am thy servant, the son of thy handmaid; Thou hast loosed my bonds.

17 П ринесу Тебе жертву благодарности и призову Имя Господне.

I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, And will call upon the name of Jehovah.

18 И сполню мои обеты Господу перед всем Его народом

I will pay my vows unto Jehovah, Yea, in the presence of all his people,

19 в о дворах дома Господня, посреди тебя, Иерусалим! Аллилуйя!

In the courts of Jehovah's house, In the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye Jehovah.
