1 И збавь меня, Господи, от злого человека, сохрани меня от жестоких.

Deliver me, O Jehovah, from the evil man; Preserve me from the violent man:

2 О ни замышляют зло в сердце, постоянно готовы к войне.

Who devise mischiefs in their heart; Continually do they gather themselves together for war.

3 И зощряют свой язык, как змея; у них на губах яд гадюки. Пауза

They have sharpened their tongue like a serpent; Adders' poison is under their lips. Selah

4 С охрани меня, Господи, от рук нечестивых, огради от жестоких, желающих поколебать мои стопы.

Keep me, O Jehovah, from the hands of the wicked; Preserve me from the violent man: Who have purposed to thrust aside my steps.

5 В ысокомерные спрятали силки для меня и петли, разложили сеть по дороге, расставили для меня западню. Пауза

The proud have hid a snare for me, and cords; They have spread a net by the wayside; They have set gins for me. Selah

6 Я сказал Господу: «Ты – мой Бог; услышь голос моих молений, Господи!

I said unto Jehovah, Thou art my God: Give ear unto the voice of my supplications, O Jehovah.

7 В ладыка Господи, сила моего спасения, Ты прикрыл мою голову в день сражения.

O Jehovah the Lord, the strength of my salvation, Thou hast covered my head in the day of battle.

8 Н е дай, Господи, желаемого нечестивому, не дай успеха его злому замыслу, чтобы не возгордился». Пауза

Grant not, O Jehovah, the desires of the wicked; Further not his evil device, lest they exalt themselves. Selah

9 П усть головы окружающих меня покроет несчастье их собственных уст.

As for the head of those that compass me about, Let the mischief of their own lips cover them.

10 П усть падут на них горящие угли; пусть будут они повержены в огонь, в глубокую пропасть, откуда не подняться им.

Let burning coals fall upon them: Let them be cast into the fire, Into deep pits, whence they shall not rise.

11 П усть не утвердится на земле злоязычный человек; пусть зло преследует жестоких на погибель им.

An evil speaker shall not be established in the earth: Evil shall hunt the violent man to overthrow him.

12 Я знаю, что Господь даст правосудие бедным и заступится за нищих.

I know that Jehovah will maintain the cause of the afflicted, And justice for the needy.

13 П оистине, праведные будут славить Твое Имя; честные будут жить в Твоем присутствии.

Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: The upright shall dwell in thy presence.
