1 П рославь, душа моя, Господа; все нутро мое, славь Его святое Имя!

Bless Jehovah, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless his holy name.

2 П рославь, душа моя, Господа, и не забудь добрые дела Его –

Bless Jehovah, O my soul, And forget not all his benefits:

3 Т ого, Кто прощает всю вину твою и исцеляет все твои болезни;

Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; Who healeth all thy diseases;

4 К то избавляет от могилы твою жизнь и венчает тебя милостью и щедротами;

Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; Who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

5 К то наполняет твою жизнь благами, чтобы, подобно орлу, обновлялась твоя юность.

Who satisfieth thy desire with good things, So that thy youth is renewed like the eagle.

6 Г осподь творит праведность и правосудие для всех угнетенных.

Jehovah executeth righteous acts, And judgments for all that are oppressed.

7 О н ознакомил Моисея с путями Своими, сыновей Израиля – с делами Своими.

He made known his ways unto Moses, His doings unto the children of Israel.

8 М илостив и милосерден Господь: долготерпелив и богат милостью.

Jehovah is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness.

9 О н не беспрестанно сопротивляется и не вечно держит в Себе гнев.

He will not always chide; Neither will he keep his anger for ever.

10 Н е в соответствии с нашими грехами поступил Он с нами и не по нашим преступлениям воздал нам.

He hath not dealt with us after our sins, Nor rewarded us after our iniquities.

11 К ак небо высоко над землею, так велика Его милость к боящимся Его.

For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is his lovingkindness toward them that fear him.

12 К ак далек восток от запада, так удалил Он от нас наши грехи.

As far as the east is from the west, So far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

13 К ак отец жалеет своих детей, так Господь жалеет боящихся Его,

Like as a father pitieth his children, So Jehovah pitieth them that fear him.

14 в едь Он знает из чего мы состоим, помнит, что мы – прах.

For he knoweth our frame; He remembereth that we are dust.

15 Д ни человека – как трава; он цветет, как полевой цветок.

As for man, his days are as grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.

16 П ройдет над ним ветер, и нет его, и никто не узнает место, где он был.

For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; And the place thereof shall know it no more.

17 М илость же Господа извечна и навсегда над боящимися Его,

But the lovingkindness of Jehovah is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, And his righteousness unto children's children;

18 и Его праведность – к сыновьям сыновей их, к берегущим Его завет и к помнящим Его наставления, чтобы исполнять их.

To such as keep his covenant, And to those that remember his precepts to do them.

19 Г осподь в небесах поставил Свой престол, и царская власть Его господствует над всем.

Jehovah hath established his throne in the heavens; And his kingdom ruleth over all.

20 П рославьте Господа, ангелы Его, великие силой, исполняющие Его повеления, и повинующиеся Его слову.

Bless Jehovah, ye his angels, That are mighty in strength, that fulfil his word, Hearkening unto the voice of his word.

21 П рославьте Господа, все Его воинства, Его служители, исполняющие Его волю.

Bless Jehovah, all ye his hosts, Ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.

22 П рославьте Господа, все дела Его во всех местах Его правления. Прославь, душа моя, Господа.

Bless Jehovah, all ye his works, In all places of his dominion: Bless Jehovah, O my soul.
