Bless Jehovah, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless his holy name.

2 ¡ Bendice, alma mía, al Señor, y no olvides ninguna de sus bendiciones!

Bless Jehovah, O my soul, And forget not all his benefits:

3 E l Señor perdona todas tus maldades, y sana todas tus dolencias.

Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; Who healeth all thy diseases;

4 E l Señor te rescata de la muerte, y te colma de favores y de su misericordia.

Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; Who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

5 E l Señor te sacia con los mejores alimentos para que renueves tus fuerzas, como el águila.

Who satisfieth thy desire with good things, So that thy youth is renewed like the eagle.

6 E l Señor imparte justicia y defiende a todos los que sufren por la violencia.

Jehovah executeth righteous acts, And judgments for all that are oppressed.

7 D io a conocer sus caminos a Moisés; los hijos de Israel vieron sus obras.

He made known his ways unto Moses, His doings unto the children of Israel.

8 E l Señor es misericordioso y clemente; es lento para la ira, y grande en misericordia.

Jehovah is merciful and gracious, Slow to anger, and abundant in lovingkindness.

9 N o nos reprende todo el tiempo, ni tampoco para siempre nos guarda rencor.

He will not always chide; Neither will he keep his anger for ever.

10 N o nos ha tratado como merece nuestra maldad, Ni nos ha castigado como merecen nuestros pecados.

He hath not dealt with us after our sins, Nor rewarded us after our iniquities.

11 T an alta como los cielos sobre la tierra, es su misericordia con los que le honran.

For as the heavens are high above the earth, So great is his lovingkindness toward them that fear him.

12 T an lejos como está el oriente del occidente, alejó de nosotros nuestras rebeliones.

As far as the east is from the west, So far hath he removed our transgressions from us.

13 E l Señor se compadece de los que le honran con la misma compasión del padre por sus hijos,

Like as a father pitieth his children, So Jehovah pitieth them that fear him.

14 p ues él sabe de qué estamos hechos; ¡él bien sabe que estamos hecho de polvo!

For he knoweth our frame; He remembereth that we are dust.

15 N uestros días son como la hierba: florecemos como las flores del campo,

As for man, his days are as grass; As a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.

16 p ero pasa el viento sobre nosotros y desaparecemos, sin dejar ninguna huella.

For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; And the place thereof shall know it no more.

17 P ero el Señor es eternamente misericordioso; él les hace justicia a quienes le honran, y también a sus hijos y descendientes,

But the lovingkindness of Jehovah is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, And his righteousness unto children's children;

18 a quienes cumplen con su pacto y no se olvidan de sus mandamientos, sino que los ponen en práctica.

To such as keep his covenant, And to those that remember his precepts to do them.

19 E l Señor ha afirmado su trono en los cielos, y su reino domina sobre todos los reinos.

Jehovah hath established his throne in the heavens; And his kingdom ruleth over all.

20 ¡ Bendigan al Señor, ustedes, ángeles poderosos que cumplen sus órdenes y obedecen su voz!

Bless Jehovah, ye his angels, That are mighty in strength, that fulfil his word, Hearkening unto the voice of his word.

21 ¡ Bendigan al Señor todos sus ejércitos, todos ustedes, sus siervos, que cumplen su voluntad!

Bless Jehovah, all ye his hosts, Ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure.

22 ¡ Bendigan al Señor ustedes, sus criaturas, en todos los lugares de su dominio! ¡Bendice, alma mía, al Señor!
