1 A ti, Señor, elevo mi alma.

Unto thee, O Jehovah, do I lift up my soul.

2 E res mi Dios, y en ti confío; ¡no permitas que mis enemigos me avergüencen y se burlen de mí!

O my God, in thee have I trusted, Let me not be put to shame; Let not mine enemies triumph over me.

3 N o permitas que sean avergonzados los que en ti ponen su esperanza; más bien, que sean puestos en vergüenza los que sin razón se rebelan contra ti.

Yea, none that wait for thee shall be put to shame: They shall be put to shame that deal treacherously without cause.

4 S eñor, dame a conocer tus caminos; ¡Enséñame a seguir tus sendas!

Show me thy ways, O Jehovah; Teach me thy paths.

5 T odo el día espero en ti; ¡enséñame a caminar en tu verdad, pues tú eres mi Dios y salvador!

Guide me in thy truth, and teach me; For thou art the God of my salvation; For thee do I wait all the day.

6 R ecuerda, Señor, que en todo tiempo me has mostrado tu amor y tu misericordia.

Remember, O Jehovah, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindness; For they have been ever of old.

7 T ú, Señor, eres todo bondad. Por tu misericordia, acuérdate de mí; pero olvídate de que en mi juventud pequé y fui rebelde contra ti.

Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: According to thy lovingkindness remember thou me, For thy goodness' sake, O Jehovah.

8 E l Señor es bueno y recto; por eso enseña a los pecadores el camino.

Good and upright is Jehovah: Therefore will he instruct sinners in the way.

9 E l Señor muestra su camino a los humildes, y los encamina en la justicia.

The meek will he guide in justice; And the meek will he teach his way.

10 M isericordia y verdad son los caminos del Señor para quienes cumplen fielmente su pacto.

All the paths of Jehovah are lovingkindness and truth Unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

11 S eñor, muy grande es mi pecado, pero haz honor a tu nombre, y perdóname.

For thy name's sake, O Jehovah, Pardon mine iniquity, for it is great.

12 ¿ Quieres tú servir al Señor? Él te mostrará el mejor camino.

What man is he that feareth Jehovah? Him shall he instruct in the way that he shall choose.

13 T e hará disfrutar de bienestar, y tus descendientes heredarán la tierra.

His soul shall dwell at ease; And his seed shall inherit the land.

14 E l Señor es amigo de quienes le temen, y confirma su pacto con ellos.

The friendship of Jehovah is with them that fear him; And he will show them his covenant.

15 S eñor, siempre dirijo a ti la mirada porque tú me libras de caer en la trampa.

Mine eyes are ever toward Jehovah; For he will pluck my feet out of the net.

16 M írame, y ten compasión de mí, pues me encuentro solo y oprimido.

Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; For I am desolate and afflicted.

17 C rece en mi corazón la angustia; ¡líbrame de esta congoja!

The troubles of my heart are enlarged: Oh bring thou me out of my distresses.

18 ¡ Mira cómo sufro y me esfuerzo! ¡Perdóname todos mis pecados!

Consider mine affliction and my travail; And forgive all my sins.

19 ¡ Mira cómo aumentan mis adversarios, y cuán grande es su odio contra mí!

Consider mine enemies, for they are many; And they hate me with cruel hatred.

20 ¡ Sálvame! ¡Protégeme! ¡No me dejes quedar en vergüenza, pues en ti he puesto mi confianza!

Oh keep my soul, and deliver me: Let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in thee.

21 ¡ Protege mi integridad y rectitud, pues en ti he puesto mi esperanza!

Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, For I wait for thee.

22 ¡ Salva, oh Dios, a Israel de todas sus angustias!

Redeem Israel, O God, Out all of his troubles.
