1 E l Señor habló con Moisés, y le dijo:

And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

2 « Diles a Aarón y a sus hijos que se abstengan de las cosas santas que los hijos de Israel me han dedicado, y no profanen mi santo nombre. Yo soy el Señor.

Speak unto Aaron and to his sons, that they separate themselves from the holy things of the children of Israel, which they hallow unto me, and that they profane not my holy name: I am Jehovah.

3 » Diles que todo varón descendiente suyo que, estando impuro, se acerque a las ofrendas sagradas que los hijos de Israel consagran al Señor, será eliminado de mi presencia. Esto vale para todas sus generaciones. Yo soy el Señor.

Say unto them, Whosoever he be of all your seed throughout your generations, that approacheth unto the holy things, which the children of Israel hallow unto Jehovah, having his uncleanness upon him, that soul shall be cut off from before me: I am Jehovah.

4 » Todo varón descendiente de Aarón que tenga lepra, o tenga un derrame de semen, no podrá comer de las ofrendas sagradas hasta que esté puro. »El que toque algún objeto de un cadáver, o el que haya tenido un derrame de semen,

What man soever of the seed of Aaron is a leper, or hath an issue; he shall not eat of the holy things, until he be clean. And whoso toucheth anything that is unclean by the dead, or a man whose seed goeth from him;

5 o el que esté impuro por haber tocado algún hombre o reptil impuro, o alguna impureza de sí mismo,

or whosoever toucheth any creeping thing, whereby he may be made unclean, or a man of whom he may take uncleanness, whatsoever uncleanness he hath;

6 q uedará impuro hasta el anochecer y no podrá comer de las ofrendas sagradas hasta que haya lavado su cuerpo con agua.

the soul that toucheth any such shall be unclean until the even, and shall not eat of the holy things, unless he bathe his flesh in water.

7 E n cuanto el sol se ponga quedará limpio, y entonces podrá comer de las ofrendas sagradas, porque son su alimento.

And when the sun is down, he shall be clean; and afterward he shall eat of the holy things, because it is his bread.

8 » Ningún sacerdote podrá comer ningún animal que haya sido matado o desgarrado por alguna fiera, pues se contaminará con eso. Yo soy el Señor.

That which dieth of itself, or is torn of beasts, he shall not eat, to defile himself therewith: I am Jehovah.

9 » Cumplan con mis ordenanzas, para que no mueran por profanarlas ni tengan que cargar con su pecado. Yo soy el Señor, que los santifico.

They shall therefore keep my charge, lest they bear sin for it, and die therein, if they profane it: I am Jehovah who sanctifieth them.

10 » Nadie ajeno al sacerdocio comerá de las ofrendas sagradas, ni siquiera los huéspedes de los sacerdotes ni sus jornaleros.

There shall no stranger eat of the holy thing: a sojourner of the priest's, or a hired servant, shall not eat of the holy thing.

11 S ólo podrán comer de las ofrendas sagradas los esclavos que los sacerdotes compren por dinero y los criados que nazcan en su casa.

But if a priest buy any soul, the purchase of his money, he shall eat of it; and such as are born in his house, they shall eat of his bread.

12 » Si la hija de un sacerdote se casa con alguien ajeno al sacerdocio ya no podrá comer de las ofrendas sagradas.

And if a priest's daughter be married unto a stranger, she shall not eat of the heave-offering of the holy things.

13 S ólo podrá comer de los alimentos de su padre sacerdote si es viuda o divorciada, y si por no tener hijos vuelve a la casa paterna y vive allí como cuando era joven. Pero ningún extraño podrá comer de esas ofrendas.

But if a priest's daughter be a widow, or divorced, and have no child, and be returned unto her father's house, as in her youth, she shall eat of her father's bread: but there shall no stranger eat thereof.

14 » Si alguien, sin proponérselo, come de alguna ofrenda sagrada, devolverá al sacerdote la ofrenda sagrada más el equivalente a una quinta parte.

And if a man eat of the holy thing unwittingly, then he shall put the fifth part thereof unto it, and shall give unto the priest the holy thing.

15 » No profanen las ofrendas sagradas que los hijos de Israel apartan para mí.

And they shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, which they offer unto Jehovah,

16 S i ustedes les permiten comer de esas ofrendas, los harán cargar con su pecado. Yo soy el Señor, que los santifico.»

and so cause them to bear the iniquity that bringeth guilt, when they eat their holy things: for I am Jehovah who sanctifieth them.

17 E l Señor habló con Moisés, y le dijo:

And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

18 « Habla con Aarón y con sus hijos, y con todos los hijos de Israel, y diles que si algún israelita, o algún extranjero que viva en Israel, me presenta su ofrenda en pago de sus votos, o como ofrenda voluntaria para quemarla como holocausto,

Speak unto Aaron, and to his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them, Whosoever he be of the house of Israel, or of the sojourners in Israel, that offereth his oblation, whether it be any of their vows, or any of their freewill-offerings, which they offer unto Jehovah for a burnt-offering;

19 p ara que yo la acepte debe ofrecerme un macho sin defecto, que puede tomar del ganado vacuno, o de sus corderos o cabras.

that ye may be accepted, ye shall offer a male without blemish, of the bullocks, of the sheep, or of the goats.

20 N o deben presentarme ningún animal que tenga algún defecto, porque yo no lo aceptaré.

But whatsoever hath a blemish, that shall ye not offer: for it shall not be acceptable for you.

21 » Si alguien me presenta una vaca o una oveja como sacrificio de paz, o como ofrenda voluntaria para cumplir un voto, para que yo acepte la ofrenda el animal no debe tener ningún defecto.

And whosoever offereth a sacrifice of peace-offerings unto Jehovah to accomplish a vow, or for a freewill-offering, of the herd or of the flock, it shall be perfect to be accepted; there shall be no blemish therein.

22 N o podrán ofrecer sobre mi altar, como ofrenda encendida, ningún animal que esté ciego, o con una pierna rota, o mutilado, verrugoso, sarnoso o roñoso.

Blind, or broken, or maimed, or having a wen, or scurvy, or scabbed, ye shall not offer these unto Jehovah, nor make an offering by fire of them upon the altar unto Jehovah.

23 C omo ofrenda voluntaria podrán ofrecer un buey o un carnero que tenga de más o de menos, pero un animal así no lo aceptaré en pago de un voto.

Either a bullock or a lamb that hath anything superfluous or lacking in his parts, that mayest thou offer for a freewill-offering; but for a vow it shall not be accepted.

24 » No me ofrezcan ningún animal con testículos heridos o magullados, rasgados o extirpados. No ofrezcan en su tierra esta clase de animales.

That which hath its stones bruised, or crushed, or broken, or cut, ye shall not offer unto Jehovah; neither shall ye do thus in your land.

25 T ampoco reciban de manos de los extranjeros animales así, ni me los ofrezcan como mi alimento, porque esos animales están defectuosos y corrompidos, y yo no los aceptaré.»

Neither from the hand of a foreigner shall ye offer the bread of your God of any of these; because their corruption is in them, there is a blemish in them: they shall not be accepted for you.

26 E l Señor habló con Moisés, y le dijo:

And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

27 « Cuando nazca un becerro, un cordero o una cabra, podrá quedarse con su madre siete días, pero a partir del octavo día lo aceptaré como ofrenda de sacrificio encendido.

When a bullock, or a sheep, or a goat, is brought forth, then it shall be seven days under the dam; and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be accepted for the oblation of an offering made by fire unto Jehovah.

28 » No degüellen en un mismo día a una vaca u oveja, junto con su cría.

And whether it be cow or ewe, ye shall not kill it and its young both in one day.

29 » Cuando ustedes me ofrezcan un sacrificio de acción de gracias, deberán hacerlo de tal manera que me sea aceptable.

And when ye sacrifice a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto Jehovah, ye shall sacrifice it that ye may be accepted.

30 D eberán comer la carne ese mismo día, sin dejar nada para el día siguiente. Yo soy el Señor.

On the same day it shall be eaten; ye shall leave none of it until the morning: I am Jehovah.

31 » Cumplan mis mandamientos. Pónganlos en práctica. Yo soy el Señor.

Therefore shall ye keep my commandments, and do them: I am Jehovah.

32 » No profanen mi santo nombre, sino santifíquenme en medio de los hijos de Israel. Yo soy el Señor, que los santifico.

And ye shall not profane my holy name; but I will be hallowed among the children of Israel: I am Jehovah who halloweth you,

33 Y o los saqué de la tierra de Egipto, para ser su Dios. Yo soy el Señor.»

who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am Jehovah.
