1 C uando el Señor nos haga volver a Sión, nos parecerá estar soñando.

When Jehovah brought back those that returned to Zion, We were like unto them that dream.

2 N uestra boca se llenará de risa; nuestra lengua rebosará de alabanzas. Entonces las naciones dirán: «¡El Señor ha hecho grandes cosas por éstos!»

Then was our mouth filled with laughter, And our tongue with singing: Then said they among the nations, Jehovah hath done great things for them.

3 S í, el Señor hará grandes cosas por nosotros, y eso nos llenará de alegría.

Jehovah hath done great things for us, Whereof we are glad.

4 S eñor, ¡haz que volvamos de nuestra cautividad, y que corramos libres como los arroyos del desierto!

Turn again our captivity, O Jehovah, As the streams in the South.

5 ¡ Haz que los que siembran con lágrimas cosechen entre gritos de alegría!

They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

6 ¡ Que los que entre sollozos esparzan la semilla, vuelvan alegres trayendo sus gavillas!

He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing seed for sowing, Shall doubtless come again with joy, bringing his sheaves with him.
