1 E l Señor habló con Moisés y Aarón, y les dijo:

And Jehovah spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

2 « De entre los hijos de Leví cuenten a los hijos de Coat por sus familias y según las familias de sus antepasados,

Take the sum of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, by their families, by their fathers' houses,

3 a todos los que tengan más de treinta años, y hasta cincuenta años de edad, y anótenlos en los grupos que servirán en el tabernáculo de reunión.

from thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all that enter upon the service, to do the work in the tent of meeting.

4 É ste va a ser el oficio de los hijos de Coat en el tabernáculo de reunión, en el lugar santísimo:

This is the service of the sons of Kohath in the tent of meeting, about the most holy things:

5 C uando el campamento haya de mudarse, Aarón y sus hijos vendrán y desarmarán el velo de la tienda, y con él cubrirán el arca del testimonio;

when the camp setteth forward, Aaron shall go in, and his sons, and they shall take down the veil of the screen, and cover the ark of the testimony with it,

6 y sobre ella pondrán la cubierta de pieles de delfín, y extenderán un paño todo de azul, y le pondrán sus varas.

and shall put thereon a covering of sealskin, and shall spread over it a cloth all of blue, and shall put in the staves thereof.

7 S obre la mesa de la proposición extenderán un paño azul, y sobre ella pondrán los platones, las cucharas, las copas y los tazones para las libaciones; también sobre ella estará el pan continuo.

And upon the table of showbread they shall spread a cloth of blue, and put thereon the dishes, and the spoons, and the bowls and the cups wherewith to pour out; and the continual bread shall be thereon:

8 E xtenderán sobre ella un paño carmesí, y lo cubrirán con la cubierta de pieles de delfín; y le pondrán sus varas.

and they shall spread upon them a cloth of scarlet, and cover the same with a covering of sealskin, and shall put in the staves thereof.

9 T omarán un paño azul y cubrirán el candelero del alumbrado, sus lamparillas, sus despabiladeras, sus platillos, y todos los utensilios del aceite con que se sirve,

And they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candlestick of the light, and its lamps, and its snuffers, and its snuffdishes, and all the oil vessels thereof, wherewith they minister unto it:

10 y lo pondrán con todos sus utensilios en una cubierta de pieles de delfín, y lo colocarán sobre unas parihuelas.

and they shall put it and all the vessels thereof within a covering of sealskin, and shall put it upon the frame.

11 S obre el altar de oro extenderán un paño azul, y lo cubrirán con la cubierta de pieles de delfín, y le pondrán sus varas.

And upon the golden altar they shall spread a cloth of blue, and cover it with a covering of sealskin, and shall put in the staves thereof:

12 Y tomarán todos los utensilios del servicio que se usan en el santuario, y los pondrán en un paño azul, y los cubrirán con una cubierta de pieles de delfín, y los colocarán sobre unas parihuelas.

and they shall take all the vessels of ministry, wherewith they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a cloth of blue, and cover them with a covering of sealskin, and shall put them on the frame.

13 Q uitarán la ceniza del altar y extenderán sobre él un paño de púrpura;

And they shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth thereon:

14 p ondrán sobre él todos los instrumentos de que se sirve, es decir, las paletas, los garfios, los braseros y los tazones, y todos los utensilios del altar; extenderán sobre él la cubierta de pieles de delfín, y le pondrán las varas.

and they shall put upon it all the vessels thereof, wherewith they minister about it, the firepans, the flesh-hooks, and the shovels, and the basins, all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread upon it a covering of sealskin, and put in the staves thereof.

15 Y cuando Aarón y sus hijos acaben de cubrir el santuario y todos sus utensilios, y haya de mudarse el campamento, vendrán después los hijos de Coat para llevarlos; pero no deberán tocar ninguna cosa santa, para que no mueran. »Éstas serán las tareas de los hijos de Coat en el tabernáculo de reunión.

And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the furniture of the sanctuary, as the camp is set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch the sanctuary, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tent of meeting.

16 E leazar, hijo del sacerdote Aarón, estará a cargo del aceite del alumbrado, del incienso aromático, de la ofrenda continua y del aceite de la unción; es decir, estará a cargo de todo el tabernáculo y de todo lo que está en él, así como del santuario y de sus utensilios.»

And the charge of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the continual meal-offering, and the anointing oil, the charge of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein is, the sanctuary, and the furniture thereof.

17 E l Señor habló con Moisés y Aarón, y les dijo:

And Jehovah spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

18 « No hagan que la tribu de las familias de Coat sea eliminada de entre los levitas.

Cut ye not off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites;

19 P ara que sigan viviendo y no mueran cuando se acerquen al lugar santísimo, deben hacer lo siguiente: Aarón y sus hijos vendrán y les darán a cada uno su oficio y su cargo.

but thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden;

20 Y cuando cubran las cosas santas, no deben entrar para ver; de lo contrario, serán condenados a muerte.»

but they shall not go in to see the sanctuary even for a moment, lest they die.

21 E l Señor habló con Moisés, y le dijo:

And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

22 « Levanta también un censo de los hijos de Gersón, según las familias de sus antepasados.

Take the sum of the sons of Gershon also, by their fathers' houses, by their families;

23 C uenta a todos los varones mayores de treinta años y hasta cincuenta, es decir, todos los que entran en grupos para servir en el tabernáculo de reunión.

from thirty years old and upward until fifty years old shalt thou number them; all that enter in to wait upon the service, to do the work in the tent of meeting.

24 E l oficio de las familias de Gersón para ministrar y llevar será el siguiente:

This is the service of the families of the Gershonites, in serving and in bearing burdens:

25 L levarán las cortinas del tabernáculo, el tabernáculo de reunión, su cubierta, la cubierta de pieles de delfín que va encima del tabernáculo, la cortina de la entrada del tabernáculo de reunión,

they shall bear the curtains of the tabernacle, and the tent of meeting, its covering, and the covering of sealskin that is above upon it, and the screen for the door of the tent of meeting,

26 l as cortinas del atrio, la cortina de la puerta del atrio, que está cerca de éste y del altar alrededor, sus cuerdas, todos los instrumentos de su servicio, y todo lo que se hará para ellos. Ése será su servicio.

and the hangings of the court, and the screen for the door of the gate of the court, which is by the tabernacle and by the altar round about, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and whatsoever shall be done with them: therein shall they serve.

27 T odo el ministerio de los hijos de Gersón, en todos sus cargos y en todo su servicio, será según lo ordenen Aarón y sus hijos. Ustedes les encomendarán el cuidado de todos sus cargos.

At the commandment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burden, and in all their service; and ye shall appoint unto them in charge all their burden.

28 É ste será el servicio de las familias de los hijos de Gersón en el tabernáculo de reunión. Su servicio estará bajo la dirección de Itamar, hijo del sacerdote Aarón.

This is the service of the families of the sons of the Gershonites in the tent of meeting: and their charge shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.

29 » Haz también un censo de los hijos de Merari, según las familias de sus antepasados.

As for the sons of Merari, thou shalt number them by their families, by their fathers' houses;

30 C uenta a todos los varones mayores de treinta años, y hasta cincuenta años, es decir, a todos los que entran en grupos para servir en el tabernáculo de reunión.

from thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old shalt thou number them, every one that entereth upon the service, to do the work of the tent of meeting.

31 L as obligaciones de su cargo para todo su servicio en el tabernáculo de reunión será el siguiente: Llevar las tablas del tabernáculo, sus barras, sus columnas y sus bases,

And this is the charge of their burden, according to all their service in the tent of meeting: the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and the sockets thereof,

32 l as columnas del atrio alrededor y sus bases, y sus estacas y cuerdas, con todos sus instrumentos y todo su servicio. Consignarás por nombre todos los utensilios que ellos deben transportar.

and the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their service: and by name ye shall appoint the instruments of the charge of their burden.

33 E l servicio de las familias de los hijos de Merari para todo su ministerio en el tabernáculo de reunión, estará bajo la dirección de Itamar, hijo del sacerdote Aarón.»

This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service, in the tent of meeting, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.

34 M oisés y Aarón y los jefes de la congregación levantaron el censo de los hijos de Coat según las familias de sus antepasados,

And Moses and Aaron and the princes of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites by their families, and by their fathers' houses,

35 y contaron a los varones mayores de treinta años de edad, y hasta los de cincuenta años, es decir, a todos los que entraban en grupos para ministrar en el tabernáculo de reunión.

from thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entered upon the service, for work in the tent of meeting:

36 L os varones contados, por sus familias, fueron dos mil setecientos cincuenta.

and those that were numbered of them by their families were two thousand seven hundred and fifty.

37 É stos fueron todos los varones contados de las familias de Coat, que ministran en el tabernáculo de reunión. Moisés y Aarón los contaron, tal y como el Señor lo ordenó por medio de Moisés.

These are they that were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all that did serve in the tent of meeting, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the commandment of Jehovah by Moses.

38 L os varones contados de los hijos de Gersón, según las familias de sus antepasados,

And those that were numbered of the sons of Gershon, their families, and by their fathers' houses,

39 m ayores de treinta años y hasta de cincuenta años, es decir, todos los que entran en grupos para ministrar en el tabernáculo de reunión,

from thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entered upon the service, for work in the tent of meeting,

40 f ueron dos mil seiscientos treinta los contados por sus familias, según las familias de sus antepasados.

even those that were numbered of them, by their families, by their fathers' houses, were two thousand and six hundred and thirty.

41 É stos son todos los varones contados de las familias de los hijos de Gersón, los cuales ministran en el tabernáculo de reunión, y que Moisés y Aarón contaron por mandato del Señor.

These are they that were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, all that did serve in the tent of meeting, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the commandment of Jehovah.

42 L os varones contados de las familias de los hijos de Merari, según las familias de sus antepasados,

And those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, by their families, by their fathers' houses,

43 e s decir, todos los mayores de treinta años y hasta de cincuenta años, que entran en grupos para ministrar en el tabernáculo de reunión,

from thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entered upon the service, for work in the tent of meeting,

44 f ueron tres mil doscientos, contados por sus familias.

even those that were numbered of them by their families, were three thousand and two hundred.

45 É stos fueron los varones de las familias de los hijos de Merari, contados por Moisés y Aarón según lo ordenó el Señor por medio de Moisés.

These are they that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the commandment of Jehovah by Moses.

46 T odos los varones levitas que Moisés y Aarón y los jefes de Israel contaron según las familias de sus antepasados,

All those that were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron and the princes of Israel numbered, by their families, and by their fathers' houses,

47 m ayores de treinta años y hasta de cincuenta, es decir, todos los que entraban para ministrar en el servicio y estar a cargo de alguna tarea en el tabernáculo de reunión,

from thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entered in to do the work of service, and the work of bearing burdens in the tent of meeting,

48 f ueron ocho mil quinientos ochenta.

even those that were numbered of them, were eight thousand and five hundred and fourscore.

49 C ada uno de ellos fue contado según su oficio y según su cargo, tal y como el Señor lo ordenó por medio de Moisés, que los contó tal y como le había sido ordenado.

According to the commandment of Jehovah they were numbered by Moses, every one according to his service, and according to his burden: thus were they numbered of him, as Jehovah commanded Moses.
