1 E ntonces el Señor habló a Moisés y a Aarón y les dijo:

And Jehovah spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

2 “ Hagan un censo de los descendientes de Coat, de entre los hijos de Leví, por sus familias, conforme a sus casas paternas,

Take the sum of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, by their families, by their fathers' houses,

3 d e treinta años arriba hasta los cincuenta, todos los que se enlistan para servir en la tienda de reunión.

from thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all that enter upon the service, to do the work in the tent of meeting.

4 E ste será el servicio de los descendientes de Coat en la tienda de reunión, con relación a las cosas más sagradas:

This is the service of the sons of Kohath in the tent of meeting, about the most holy things:

5 “ Cuando el campamento se traslade, Aarón y sus hijos entrarán en el Lugar Santísimo y quitarán el velo de separación, y con él cubrirán el arca del testimonio.

when the camp setteth forward, Aaron shall go in, and his sons, and they shall take down the veil of the screen, and cover the ark of the testimony with it,

6 C olocarán sobre ella una cubierta de piel de marsopa, y extenderán encima un paño todo de azul puro, y luego colocarán sus varas.

and shall put thereon a covering of sealskin, and shall spread over it a cloth all of blue, and shall put in the staves thereof.

7 S obre la mesa del pan de la Presencia del Señor tenderán también un paño azul, y en él pondrán las fuentes, las cucharas, los tazones para los sacrificios y los jarros para hacer libación; el pan perpetuo estará sobre él.

And upon the table of showbread they shall spread a cloth of blue, and put thereon the dishes, and the spoons, and the bowls and the cups wherewith to pour out; and the continual bread shall be thereon:

8 E xtenderán sobre ellos un paño carmesí, y los cubrirán con una cubierta de piel de marsopa, y luego colocarán sus varas.

and they shall spread upon them a cloth of scarlet, and cover the same with a covering of sealskin, and shall put in the staves thereof.

9 T omarán entonces un paño azul y cubrirán el candelabro del alumbrado, las lámparas, las despabiladeras, los platillos y todos los utensilios para el aceite con que lo sirven.

And they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candlestick of the light, and its lamps, and its snuffers, and its snuffdishes, and all the oil vessels thereof, wherewith they minister unto it:

10 L o pondrán con todos sus utensilios en una cubierta de piel de marsopa, y lo colocarán sobre las varas.

and they shall put it and all the vessels thereof within a covering of sealskin, and shall put it upon the frame.

11 E xtenderán sobre el altar de oro un paño azul, y lo cubrirán con una cubierta de piel de marsopa, y colocarán sus varas;

And upon the golden altar they shall spread a cloth of blue, and cover it with a covering of sealskin, and shall put in the staves thereof:

12 y tomarán todos los utensilios para el ministerio con que sirven en el santuario, los pondrán en un paño azul, los cubrirán con una cubierta de piel de marsopa y los colocarán sobre las varas.

and they shall take all the vessels of ministry, wherewith they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a cloth of blue, and cover them with a covering of sealskin, and shall put them on the frame.

13 Q uitarán entonces las cenizas del altar y extenderán sobre él un paño de púrpura.

And they shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth thereon:

14 Y le pondrán encima todos los utensilios con que sirven en relación con él: los braseros, los garfios, las palas y los tazones, todos los utensilios del altar. Y extenderán sobre él una cubierta de piel de marsopa y colocarán sus varas.

and they shall put upon it all the vessels thereof, wherewith they minister about it, the firepans, the flesh-hooks, and the shovels, and the basins, all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread upon it a covering of sealskin, and put in the staves thereof.

15 C uando Aarón y sus hijos hayan terminado de cubrir los objetos sagrados y todos los utensilios del santuario, cuando el campamento esté para trasladarse, vendrán después los hijos de Coat para transportar los, pero que no toquen los objetos sagrados, pues morirían. Estas son las cosas que transportarán los hijos de Coat en la tienda de reunión.

And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the furniture of the sanctuary, as the camp is set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch the sanctuary, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tent of meeting.

16 P ero la responsabilidad de Eleazar, hijo del sacerdote Aarón, será el aceite para el alumbrado, el incienso aromático, la ofrenda continua de cereal y el aceite para ungir. Tendrá la responsabilidad de todo el tabernáculo (morada) y de todo lo que en él hay, con el santuario y sus utensilios.”

And the charge of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the continual meal-offering, and the anointing oil, the charge of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein is, the sanctuary, and the furniture thereof.

17 D espués el Señor habló a Moisés y a Aarón y les dijo:

And Jehovah spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

18 “ No permitan que la tribu de las familias de los Coatitas sea exterminada de entre los Levitas.

Cut ye not off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites;

19 E sto harán con ellos para que vivan y no perezcan cuando se acerquen a los objetos santísimos: Aarón y sus hijos entrarán y señalarán a cada uno de ellos su trabajo y su carga;

but thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden;

20 p ero no entrarán, ni por un momento, a ver los objetos sagrados, para que no mueran.” Deberes de los Gersonitas

but they shall not go in to see the sanctuary even for a moment, lest they die.

21 E ntonces el Señor dijo a Moisés:

And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

22 “ Haz también un censo de los hijos de Gersón por sus casas paternas, según sus familias;

Take the sum of the sons of Gershon also, by their fathers' houses, by their families;

23 l os contarás desde los treinta hasta los cincuenta años de edad; todos los que se enlisten para cumplir el servicio, para hacer la obra en la tienda de reunión.

from thirty years old and upward until fifty years old shalt thou number them; all that enter in to wait upon the service, to do the work in the tent of meeting.

24 E ste será el ministerio de las familias de los Gersonitas para servir y para transportar:

This is the service of the families of the Gershonites, in serving and in bearing burdens:

25 l levarán las cortinas del tabernáculo (la morada), de la tienda de reunión, con su cubierta, la cubierta de piel de marsopa que está encima de él, el velo de la entrada de la tienda de reunión,

they shall bear the curtains of the tabernacle, and the tent of meeting, its covering, and the covering of sealskin that is above upon it, and the screen for the door of the tent of meeting,

26 l as cortinas del atrio, el velo para la entrada del atrio que está alrededor del tabernáculo y del altar, con sus cuerdas y todos los utensilios para el servicio de ellos; todo lo que se deba hacer, ellos lo harán.

and the hangings of the court, and the screen for the door of the gate of the court, which is by the tabernacle and by the altar round about, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and whatsoever shall be done with them: therein shall they serve.

27 B ajo las órdenes de Aarón y de sus hijos estará todo el ministerio de los hijos de los Gersonitas, en relación con todas sus cargas y todo su trabajo; y tú les asignarás como responsabilidad todas sus cargas.

At the commandment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burden, and in all their service; and ye shall appoint unto them in charge all their burden.

28 E ste es el servicio de las familias de los hijos de los Gersonitas en la tienda de reunión; sus deberes estarán bajo la dirección de Itamar, hijo del sacerdote Aarón. Deberes de los Hijos de Merari

This is the service of the families of the sons of the Gershonites in the tent of meeting: and their charge shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.

29 “ A los hijos de Merari los contarás por sus familias, por sus casas paternas.

As for the sons of Merari, thou shalt number them by their families, by their fathers' houses;

30 L os contarás desde los treinta hasta los cincuenta años de edad, todos los que se enlisten para servir en la tienda de reunión.

from thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old shalt thou number them, every one that entereth upon the service, to do the work of the tent of meeting.

31 E sta es su responsabilidad de lo que han de transportar, para todo su servicio en la tienda de reunión: las tablas del tabernáculo, sus barras, sus columnas, sus basas,

And this is the charge of their burden, according to all their service in the tent of meeting: the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and the sockets thereof,

32 l as columnas alrededor del atrio y sus basas, sus estacas y sus cuerdas, con todos sus utensilios y con todo su servicio; y les asignarás por nombre los objetos que han de transportar.

and the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their service: and by name ye shall appoint the instruments of the charge of their burden.

33 E ste es el servicio de las familias de los hijos de Merari. Para todo su servicio en la tienda de reunión estarán bajo las órdenes de Itamar, hijo del sacerdote Aarón.” Los Levitas en Edad de Servicio

This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service, in the tent of meeting, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.

34 E ntonces Moisés y Aarón y los jefes de la congregación contaron a los hijos de los Coatitas por sus familias y por sus casas paternas,

And Moses and Aaron and the princes of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites by their families, and by their fathers' houses,

35 d e treinta años en adelante hasta los cincuenta, todo el que se enlistó para servir en la tienda de reunión.

from thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entered upon the service, for work in the tent of meeting:

36 Y los enumerados por sus familias fueron 2, 750.

and those that were numbered of them by their families were two thousand seven hundred and fifty.

37 E stos son los enumerados de las familias Coatitas, todos los que servían en la tienda de reunión, a quienes Moisés y Aarón contaron conforme al mandamiento del Señor por medio de Moisés.

These are they that were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all that did serve in the tent of meeting, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the commandment of Jehovah by Moses.

38 E stos son los enumerados de los hijos de Gersón por sus familias y por sus casas paternas,

And those that were numbered of the sons of Gershon, their families, and by their fathers' houses,

39 d e treinta años en adelante hasta los cincuenta, todo el que se enlistó para servir en la tienda de reunión;

from thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entered upon the service, for work in the tent of meeting,

40 l os enumerados, por sus familias, por sus casas paternas, fueron 2, 630.

even those that were numbered of them, by their families, by their fathers' houses, were two thousand and six hundred and thirty.

41 E stos son los enumerados de las familias de los hijos de Gersón, todos los que servían en la tienda de reunión, a quienes Moisés y Aarón contaron conforme al mandamiento del Señor.

These are they that were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, all that did serve in the tent of meeting, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the commandment of Jehovah.

42 Y estos son los enumerados de las familias de los hijos de Merari por sus familias y por sus casas paternas,

And those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, by their families, by their fathers' houses,

43 d e treinta años en adelante hasta los cincuenta, todo el que se enlistó para servir en la tienda de reunión;

from thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entered upon the service, for work in the tent of meeting,

44 l os enumerados por sus familias, fueron 3, 200.

even those that were numbered of them by their families, were three thousand and two hundred.

45 E stos son los enumerados de las familias de los hijos de Merari, a quienes Moisés y Aarón contaron conforme al mandamiento del Señor por medio de Moisés.

These are they that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the commandment of Jehovah by Moses.

46 T odos los enumerados de los Levitas a quienes Moisés y Aarón y los jefes de Israel contaron, por sus familias y por sus casas paternas,

All those that were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron and the princes of Israel numbered, by their families, and by their fathers' houses,

47 d e treinta años en adelante hasta los cincuenta, todo el que podía enlistarse para servir y hacer el trabajo de transportar la tienda de reunión,

from thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entered in to do the work of service, and the work of bearing burdens in the tent of meeting,

48 f ueron 8, 580.

even those that were numbered of them, were eight thousand and five hundred and fourscore.

49 F ueron contados conforme al mandamiento del Señor dado por medio de Moisés, cada uno según su ministerio o según su cargo. Estos fueron los enumerados, tal como el Señor había ordenado a Moisés.

According to the commandment of Jehovah they were numbered by Moses, every one according to his service, and according to his burden: thus were they numbered of him, as Jehovah commanded Moses.
