1 ¿ Hasta cuándo, oh Señor ? ¿Me olvidarás para siempre ? ¿Hasta cuándo esconderás de mí Tu rostro ?

How long, O Jehovah? wilt thou forget me for ever? How long wilt thou hide thy face from me?

2 ¿ Hasta cuándo he de tomar consejo en mi alma, Teniendo pesar en mi corazón todo el día ? ¿Hasta cuándo mi enemigo se enaltecerá sobre mí?

How long shall I take counsel in my soul, Having sorrow in my heart all the day? How long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?

3 C onsidera y respóndeme, oh Señor, Dios mío; Ilumina mis ojos, no sea que duerma el sueño de la muerte;

Consider and answer me, O Jehovah my God: Lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;

4 N o sea que mi enemigo diga: “Lo he vencido;” Y mis adversarios se regocijen cuando yo sea sacudido.

Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; Lest mine adversaries rejoice when I am moved.

5 P ero yo en Tu misericordia he confiado; Mi corazón se regocijará en Tu salvación.

But I have trusted in thy lovingkindness; My heart shall rejoice in thy salvation.

6 C antaré al Señor, Porque me ha llenado de bienes.

I will sing unto Jehovah, Because he hath dealt bountifully with me.
