1 P alabra del Señor que vino a Miqueas de Moréset en los días de Jotam, Acaz y Ezequías, reyes de Judá; lo que vio acerca de Samaria y Jerusalén.

The word of Jehovah that came to Micah the Morashtite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.

2 O igan, pueblos todos, Escucha, tierra y cuanto hay en ti; Sea el Señor Dios testigo contra ustedes, El Señor desde Su santo templo.

Hear, ye peoples, all of you: hearken, O earth, and all that therein is: and let the Lord Jehovah be witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple.

3 P orque el Señor sale de Su lugar, Y descenderá y caminará sobre las alturas de la tierra.

For, behold, Jehovah cometh forth out of his place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.

4 D ebajo de El los montes se derretirán, Y los valles se partirán, Como la cera ante el fuego, Como las aguas derramadas por una pendiente.

And the mountains shall be melted under him, and the valleys shall be cleft, as wax before the fire, as waters that are poured down a steep place.

5 T odo esto por la rebelión de Jacob Y por los pecados de la casa de Israel. ¿Cuál es la rebelión de Jacob ? ¿No es Samaria ? ¿Cuál es el lugar alto de Judá? ¿No es Jerusalén ?

For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?

6 H aré, pues, de Samaria un montón de ruinas en el campo, Lugares para plantar viñas; Derramaré sus piedras por el valle, Y pondré al descubierto sus cimientos.

Therefore I will make Samaria as a heap of the field, and as places for planting vineyards; and I will pour down the stones thereof into the valley, and I will uncover the foundations thereof.

7 T odos sus ídolos serán destrozados, Y todas sus ganancias serán quemadas por el fuego. Destruiré todas sus imágenes, Porque las obtuvo de ganancias de ramera, Y a ganancias de ramera volverán.

And all her graven images shall be beaten to pieces, and all her hires shall be burned with fire, and all her idols will I lay desolate; for of the hire of a harlot hath she gathered them, and unto the hire of a harlot shall they return.

8 P or eso me lamentaré y gemiré, Andaré descalzo y desnudo. Daré aullidos como los chacales Y lamentos como los avestruces.

For this will I lament and wail; I will go stripped and naked; I will make a wailing like the jackals, and a lamentation like the ostriches.

9 P orque es incurable su herida, Pues ha llegado hasta Judá; Se ha acercado hasta la puerta de mi pueblo, Hasta Jerusalén.

For her wounds are incurable; for it is come even unto Judah; it reacheth unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.

10 E n Gat no lo anuncien, Tampoco lloren. En Bet Le Afrá revuélcate en el polvo.

Tell it not in Gath, weep not at all: at Beth-le-aphrah have I rolled myself in the dust.

11 V ete al cautiverio, habitante de Safir, en vergonzosa desnudez. La que habita en Zaanán no escapa. La lamentación de Bet Esel es Que El quitará de ustedes su apoyo.

Pass away, O inhabitant of Shaphir, in nakedness and shame: the inhabitant of Zaanan is not come forth; the wailing of Beth-ezel shall take from you the stay thereof.

12 P orque se debilita esperando el bien La que habita en Marot, Pues la calamidad ha descendido del Señor Hasta la Puerta de Jerusalén.

For the inhabitant of Maroth waiteth anxiously for good, because evil is come down from Jehovah unto the gate of Jerusalem.

13 A ta al carro los corceles, Habitante de Laquis (ella fue el principio de pecado Para la hija de Sion); Porque en ti fueron halladas Las rebeliones de Israel.

Bind the chariot to the swift steed, O inhabitant of Lachish: she was the beginning of sin to the daughter of Zion; for the transgressions of Israel were found in thee.

14 P or tanto, darás presentes de despedida A Moréset Gat; Las casas de Aczib serán un engaño Para los reyes de Israel.

Therefore shalt thou give a parting gift to Moresheth-gath: the houses of Achzib shall be a deceitful thing unto the kings of Israel.

15 A demás, traeré contra ti Al que toma posesión, Oh habitante de Maresa. Hasta Adulam se irá la gloria de Israel.

I will yet bring unto thee, O inhabitant of Mareshah, him that shall possess thee: the glory of Israel shall come even unto Adullam.

16 A rráncate los cabellos y aféitate Por los hijos de tus delicias; Ensancha tu calva como la del buitre, Porque irán al cautiverio lejos de ti.

Make thee bald, and cut off thy hair for the children of thy delight: enlarge thy baldness as the eagle; for they are gone into captivity from thee.
