1 Y ahweh spoke to Moses, saying,

Господ каза още на Моисей:

2 “ Speak to Aaron, and to his sons, and to all the children of Israel, and say to them: ‘This is the thing which Yahweh has commanded,

Кажи на Аарон и на синовете му, и на всички израелтяни: Ето какво заповяда Господ:

3 W hatever man there is of the house of Israel, who kills a bull, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or who kills it outside the camp,

Всеки човек от Израелевия дом, който заколи говедо, агне или коза в стана или който заколи вън от стана,

4 a nd hasn’t brought it to the door of the Tent of Meeting, to offer it as an offering to Yahweh before Yahweh’s tabernacle: blood shall be imputed to that man. He has shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people.

без да го е привел до входа на шатъра за срещане, за да го принесе на Господа пред Господнята скиния, той ще се смята виновен за кръв; кръв е пролял; този човек да бъде изтребен измежду народа си;

5 T his is to the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they sacrifice in the open field, that they may bring them to Yahweh, to the door of the Tent of Meeting, to the priest, and sacrifice them for sacrifices of peace offerings to Yahweh.

с цел израелтяните да довеждат жертвите, които колят на полето, и да ги принасят на Господа до входа на шатъра за срещане, при свещеника, за да ги колят за мирни жертви на Господа.

6 T he priest shall sprinkle the blood on the altar of Yahweh at the door of the Tent of Meeting, and burn the fat for a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.

И свещеникът да поръси с кръвта Господния жертвеник при входа на шатъра за срещане и да изгори тлъстината за благоухание на Господа.

7 T hey shall no more sacrifice their sacrifices to the goat idols, after which they play the prostitute. This shall be a statute forever to them throughout their generations.’

Да не принасят вече жертвите си на идолите, след като те блудстват; това да им бъде вечен закон през всичките им поколения.

8 “ You shall say to them, ‘Any man there is of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who live as foreigners among them, who offers a burnt offering or sacrifice,

Кажи им още: Който човек от Израелевия дом или от заселените между тях пришълци принесе всеизгаряне или жертва,

9 a nd doesn’t bring it to the door of the Tent of Meeting, to sacrifice it to Yahweh; that man shall be cut off from his people.

без да я приведе до входа на шатъра за срещане, за да я принесе на Господа, този човек да бъде изтребен измежду народа си.

10 “ ‘Any man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who live as foreigners among them, who eats any kind of blood, I will set my face against that soul who eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people.

Ако някой от Израелевия дом или от заселените между тях пришълци яде каквато и да е кръв, ще обърна лицето Си против онзи човек, който яде кръвта, и ще го изтребя измежду народа му.

11 F or the life of the flesh is in the blood; and I have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that makes atonement by reason of the life.

Защото животът на тялото е в кръвта, която Аз ви дадох, за да правите умилостивение на жертвеника за душите си; защото кръвта е, която по силата на живота, който е в нея, прави умилостивение.

12 T herefore I have said to the children of Israel, “No person among you may eat blood, nor may any stranger who lives as a foreigner among you eat blood.”

Затова казах на израелтяните: Нито един човек от вас да не яде кръв и пришълецът, който е заселен между вас, да не яде кръв.

13 “ ‘Whatever man there is of the children of Israel, or of the strangers who live as foreigners among them, who takes in hunting any animal or bird that may be eaten; he shall pour out its blood, and cover it with dust.

И ако някой от израелтяните или от заселените между тях пришълци отиде на лов и улови животно или птица, което може да се яде, нека излее кръвта му и да я покрие с пръст.

14 F or as to the life of all flesh, its blood is with its life: therefore I said to the children of Israel, “You shall not eat the blood of any kind of flesh; for the life of all flesh is its blood. Whoever eats it shall be cut off.”

Защото, колкото до живота на всяка твар, кръвта ѝ - тя е животът ѝ; затова казах на израелтяните: Да не ядете кръвта на никаква твар, защото животът на всяка твар е кръвта ѝ; всеки, който я яде, ще бъде изтребен.

15 “ ‘Every person that eats what dies of itself, or that which is torn by animals, whether he is native-born or a foreigner, he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the evening: then he shall be clean.

Всеки човек, който яде мърша или разкъсано от звяр, бил той местен жител или пришълец, нека изпере дрехите си и да се окъпе във вода, и ще остане нечист до вечерта; а след това ще бъде чист.

16 B ut if he doesn’t wash them, or bathe his flesh, then he shall bear his iniquity.’”

И ако не ги изпере и не окъпе тялото си, тогава ще носи беззаконието си.
