1 С обрались к Нему фарисеи и некоторые из книжников, пришедшие из Иерусалима,

And gathered together unto him are the Pharisees, and certain of the scribes, having come from Jerusalem,

2 и , увидев некоторых из учеников Его, евших хлеб нечистыми, то есть неумытыми, руками, укоряли.

and having seen certain of his disciples with defiled hands -- that is, unwashed -- eating bread, they found fault;

3 И бо фарисеи и все Иудеи, держась предания старцев, не едят, не умыв тщательно рук;

for the Pharisees, and all the Jews, if they do not wash the hands to the wrist, do not eat, holding the tradition of the elders,

4 и , с торга, не едят не омывшись. Есть и многое другое, чего они приняли держаться: наблюдать омовение чаш, кружек, котлов и скамей.

and, from the market-place, if they do not baptize themselves, they do not eat; and many other things there are that they received to hold, baptisms of cups, and pots, and brazen vessels, and couches.

5 П отом спрашивают Его фарисеи и книжники: зачем ученики Твои не поступают по преданию старцев, но неумытыми руками едят хлеб?

Then question him do the Pharisees and the scribes, `Wherefore do thy disciples not walk according to the tradition of the elders, but with unwashed hands do eat the bread?'

6 О н сказал им в ответ: хорошо пророчествовал о вас, лицемерах, Исаия, как написано: люди сии чтут Меня устами, сердце же их далеко отстоит от Меня,

and he answering said to them -- `Well did Isaiah prophesy concerning you, hypocrites, as it hath been written, This people with the lips doth honor Me, and their heart is far from Me;

7 н о тщетно чтут Меня, уча учениям, заповедям человеческим.

and in vain do they worship Me, teaching teachings, commands of men;

8 И бо вы, оставив заповедь Божию, держитесь предания человеческого, омовения кружек и чаш, и делаете многое другое, сему подобное.

for, having put away the command of God, ye hold the tradition of men, baptisms of pots and cups; and many other such like things ye do.'

9 И сказал им: хорошо ли, вы отменяете заповедь Божию, чтобы соблюсти свое предание?

And he said to them, `Well do ye put away the command of God that your tradition ye may keep;

10 И бо Моисей сказал: почитай отца своего и мать свою; и: злословящий отца или мать смертью да умрет.

for Moses said, Honour thy father and thy mother; and, He who is speaking evil of father or mother -- let him die the death;

11 А вы говорите: кто скажет отцу или матери: корван, то есть дар то, чем бы ты от меня пользовался,

and ye say, If a man may say to father or to mother, Korban (that is, a gift), whatever thou mayest be profited out of mine,

12 т ому вы уже попускаете ничего не делать для отца своего или матери своей,

and no more do ye suffer him to do anything for his father or for his mother,

13 у страняя слово Божие преданием вашим, которое вы установили; и делаете многое сему подобное.

setting aside the word of God for your tradition that ye delivered; and many such like things ye do.'

14 И , призвав весь народ, говорил им: слушайте Меня все и разумейте:

And having called near all the multitude, he said to them, `Hearken to me, ye all, and understand;

15 н ичто, входящее в человека извне, не может осквернить его; но что исходит из него, то оскверняет человека.

there is nothing from without the man entering into him that is able to defile him, but the things coming out from him, those are the things defiling the man.

16 Е сли кто имеет уши слышать, да слышит!

If any hath ears to hear -- let him hear.'

17 И когда Он от народа вошел в дом, ученики Его спросили Его о притче.

And when he entered into a house from the multitude, his disciples were questioning him about the simile,

18 О н сказал им: неужели и вы так непонятливы? Неужели не разумеете, что ничто, извне входящее в человека, не может осквернить его?

and he saith to them, `So also ye are without understanding! Do ye not perceive that nothing from without entering into the man is able to defile him?

19 П отому что не в сердце его входит, а в чрево, и выходит вон, очищается всякая пища.

because it doth not enter into his heart, but into the belly, and into the drain it doth go out, purifying all the meats.'

20 Д алее сказал: исходящее из человека оскверняет человека.

And he said -- `That which is coming out from the man, that doth defile the man;

21 И бо извнутрь, из сердца человеческого, исходят злые помыслы, прелюбодеяния, любодеяния, убийства,

for from within, out of the heart of men, the evil reasonings do come forth, adulteries, whoredoms, murders,

22 к ражи, лихоимство, злоба, коварство, непотребство, завистливое око, богохульство, гордость, безумство, --

thefts, covetous desires, wickedness, deceit, arrogance, an evil eye, evil speaking, pride, foolishness;

23 в сё это зло извнутрь исходит и оскверняет человека.

all these evils do come forth from within, and they defile the man.'

24 И , отправившись оттуда, пришел в пределы Тирские и Сидонские; и, войдя в дом, не хотел, чтобы кто узнал; но не мог утаиться.

And from thence having risen, he went away to the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and having entered into the house, he wished none to know, and he was not able to be hid,

25 И бо услышала о Нем женщина, у которой дочь одержима была нечистым духом, и, придя, припала к ногам Его;

for a woman having heard about him, whose little daughter had an unclean spirit, having come, fell at his feet, --

26 а женщина та была язычница, родом сирофиникиянка; и просила Его, чтобы изгнал беса из ее дочери.

and the woman was a Greek, a Syro-Phenician by nation -- and was asking him, that the demon he may cast forth out of her daughter.

27 Н о Иисус сказал ей: дай прежде насытиться детям, ибо нехорошо взять хлеб у детей и бросить псам.

And Jesus said to her, `Suffer first the children to be filled, for it is not good to take the children's bread, and to cast to the little dogs.'

28 О на же сказала Ему в ответ: так, Господи; но и псы под столом едят крохи у детей.

And she answered and saith to him, `Yes, sir; for the little dogs also under the table do eat of the children's crumbs.'

29 И сказал ей: за это слово, пойди; бес вышел из твоей дочери.

And he said to her, `Because of this word go; the demon hath gone forth out of thy daughter;'

30 И , придя в свой дом, она нашла, что бес вышел и дочь лежит на постели.

and having come away to her house, she found the demon gone forth, and the daughter laid upon the couch.

31 В ыйдя из пределов Тирских и Сидонских, опять пошел к морю Галилейскому через пределы Десятиградия.

And again, having gone forth from the coasts of Tyre and Sidon, he came unto the sea of Galilee, through the midst of the coasts of Decapolis,

32 П ривели к Нему глухого косноязычного и просили Его возложить на него руку.

and they bring to him a deaf, stuttering man, and they call on him that he may put the hand on him.

33 о тведя его в сторону от народа, вложил персты Свои в уши ему и, плюнув, коснулся языка его;

And having taken him away from the multitude by himself, he put his fingers to his ears, and having spit, he touched his tongue,

34 и , воззрев на небо, вздохнул и сказал ему: 'еффафа', то есть: отверзись.

and having looked to the heaven, he sighed, and saith to him, `Ephphatha,' that is, `Be thou opened;'

35 И тотчас отверзся у него слух и разрешились узы его языка, и стал говорить чисто.

and immediately were his ears opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he was speaking plain.

36 И повелел им не сказывать никому. Но сколько Он ни запрещал им, они еще более разглашали.

And he charged them that they may tell no one, but the more he was charging them, the more abundantly they were proclaiming,

37 И чрезвычайно дивились, и говорили: всё хорошо делает, --и глухих делает слышащими, и немых--говорящими.

and they were being beyond measure astonished, saying, `Well hath he done all things; both the deaf he doth make to hear, and the dumb to speak.'
