1 С лушайте Меня, острова, и внимайте, народы дальние: Господь призвал Меня от чрева, от утробы матери Моей называл имя Мое;

Hearken, O isles, unto me, And attend, O peoples, from afar, Jehovah from the womb hath called me, From the bowels of my mother He hath made mention of my name.

2 и соделал уста Мои как острый меч; тенью руки Своей покрывал Меня, и соделал Меня стрелою изостренною; в колчане Своем хранил Меня;

And he maketh my mouth as a sharp sword, In the shadow of His hand He hath hid me, And He maketh me for a clear arrow, In His quiver He hath hid me.

3 и сказал Мне: Ты раб Мой, Израиль, в Тебе Я прославлюсь.

And He saith to me, `My servant Thou art, O Israel, In whom I beautify Myself.'

4 А Я сказал: напрасно Я трудился, ни на что и вотще истощал силу Свою. Но Мое право у Господа, и награда Моя у Бога Моего.

And I said, `For a vain thing I laboured, For emptiness and vanity my power I consumed, But my judgment with Jehovah, And my wage with my God.

5 И ныне говорит Господь, образовавший Меня от чрева в раба Себе, чтобы обратить к Нему Иакова и чтобы Израиль собрался к Нему; Я почтен в очах Господа, и Бог Мой--сила Моя.

And now, said Jehovah, who is forming me from the belly for a servant to Him, To bring back Jacob unto Him, (Though Israel is not gathered, Yet I am honoured in the eyes of Jehovah, And my God hath been my strength.)

6 И Он сказал: мало того, что Ты будешь рабом Моим для восстановления колен Иаковлевых и для возвращения остатков Израиля, но Я сделаю Тебя светом народов, чтобы спасение Мое простерлось до концов земли.

And He saith, `It hath been a light thing That thou art to Me for a servant To raise up the tribes of Jacob, And the preserved of Israel to bring back, And I have given thee for a light of nations, To be My salvation unto the end of the earth.'

7 Т ак говорит Господь, Искупитель Израиля, Святый Его, презираемому всеми, поносимому народом, рабу властелинов: цари увидят, и встанут; князья поклонятся ради Господа, Который верен, ради Святаго Израилева, Который избрал Тебя.

Thus said Jehovah, Redeemer of Israel, His Holy One, To the despised in soul, To the abominated of a nation, To the servant of rulers: `Kings see, and have risen, princes, and worship, For the sake of Jehovah, who is faithful, The Holy of Israel, and He chooseth thee.'

8 Т ак говорит Господь: во время благоприятное Я услышал Тебя, и в день спасения помог Тебе; и Я буду охранять Тебя, и сделаю Тебя заветом народа, чтобы восстановить землю, чтобы возвратить наследникам наследия опустошенные,

Thus said Jehovah: `In a time of good pleasure I answered thee, And in a day of salvation I helped thee, And I keep thee, and give thee, For a covenant of the people, To establish the earth, To cause to inherit desolate inheritances.

9 с казать узникам: 'выходите', и тем, которые во тьме: 'покажитесь'. Они при дорогах будут пасти, и по всем холмам будут пажити их;

To say to the bound, Go out, To those in darkness, Be uncovered. On the ways they feed, And in all high places is their pasture.

10 н е будут терпеть голода и жажды, и не поразит их зной и солнце; ибо Милующий их будет вести их и приведет их к источникам вод.

They do not hunger, nor thirst, Nor smite them doth mirage and sun, For He who is pitying them doth lead them, And by fountains of waters doth tend them.

11 И все горы Мои сделаю путем, и дороги Мои будут подняты.

And I have made all My mountains for a way, And My highways are lifted up.

12 В от, одни придут издалека; и вот, одни от севера и моря, а другие из земли Синим.

Lo, these from afar come in, And lo, these from the north, and from the sea, And these from the land of Sinim.

13 Р адуйтесь, небеса, и веселись, земля, и восклицайте, горы, от радости; ибо утешил Господь народ Свой и помиловал страдальцев Своих.

Sing, O heavens, and joy, O earth, And break forth, O mountains, with singing, For comforted hath Jehovah His people, And His afflicted ones He doth pity.

14 А Сион говорил: 'оставил меня Господь, и Бог мой забыл меня!'

And Zion saith, `Jehovah hath forsaken me, And my Lord hath forgotten me.'

15 З абудет ли женщина грудное дитя свое, чтобы не пожалеть сына чрева своего? но если бы и она забыла, то Я не забуду тебя.

Forget doth a woman her suckling, The loved one -- the son of her womb? Yea, these forget -- but I -- I forget not thee.

16 В от, Я начертал тебя на дланях; стены твои всегда предо Мною.

Lo, on the palms of the hand I have graven thee, Thy walls before Me continually.

17 С ыновья твои поспешат, а разорители и опустошители твои уйдут от тебя.

Hastened have those building thee, Those destroying thee, and laying thee waste, go out from thee.

18 В озведи очи твои и посмотри вокруг, --все они собираются, идут к тебе. Живу Я! говорит Господь, --всеми ими ты облечешься, как убранством, и нарядишься ими, как невеста.

Lift up round about thine eyes and see, All of them have been gathered, They have come to thee. I live, an affirmation of Jehovah! Surely all of them as an ornament thou puttest on, And thou bindest them on like a bride.

19 И бо развалины твои и пустыни твои, и разоренная земля твоя будут теперь слишком тесны для жителей, и поглощавшие тебя удалятся от тебя.

Because thy wastes, and thy desolate places, And the land of thy ruins, Surely now are straitened because of inhabitants, And far off have been those consuming thee.

20 Д ети, которые будут у тебя после потери прежних, будут говорить вслух тебе: 'тесно для меня место; уступи мне, чтобы я мог жить'.

Again do the sons of thy bereavement say in thine ears: `The place is too strait for me, Come nigh to me -- and I dwell.'

21 И ты скажешь в сердце твоем: кто мне родил их? я была бездетна и бесплодна, отведена в плен и удалена; кто же возрастил их? вот, я оставалась одинокою; где же они были?

And thou hast said in thy heart: `Who hath begotten for me -- these? And I bereaved and gloomy, A captive, and turned aside, And these -- who hath nourished? Lo, I -- I was left by myself, these -- whence they?

22 Т ак говорит Господь Бог: вот, Я подниму руку Мою к народам, и выставлю знамя Мое племенам, и принесут сыновей твоих на руках и дочерей твоих на плечах.

Thus said the Lord Jehovah: `Lo, I lift up unto nations My hand, And unto peoples I raise up Mine ensign, And they have brought thy sons in the bosom, And thy daughters on the shoulder are carried.

23 И будут цари питателями твоими, и царицы их кормилицами твоими; лицом до земли будут кланяться тебе и лизать прах ног твоих, и узнаешь, что Я Господь, что надеющиеся на Меня не постыдятся.

And kings have been thy nursing fathers, And their princesses thy nursing mothers; Face to the earth -- they bow down to thee, And the dust of thy feet they lick up, And thou hast known that I Jehovah, That those expecting Me are not ashamed.

24 М ожет ли быть отнята у сильного добыча, и могут ли быть отняты у победителя взятые в плен?

Is prey taken from the mighty? And the captive of the righteous delivered?

25 Д а! так говорит Господь: и плененные сильным будут отняты, и добыча тирана будет избавлена; потому что Я буду состязаться с противниками твоими и сыновей твоих Я спасу;

For thus said Jehovah: Even the captive of the mighty is taken, And the prey of the terrible is delivered, And with thy striver I strive, and thy sons I save.

26 и притеснителей твоих накормлю собственною их плотью, и они будут упоены кровью своею, как молодым вином; и всякая плоть узнает, что Я Господь, Спаситель твой и Искупитель твой, Сильный Иаковлев.

And I have caused thine oppressors to eat their own flesh, And as new wine they drink their own blood, And known have all flesh that I, Jehovah, Thy saviour, and thy redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob!'
