1 Г оре городу нечистому и оскверненному, притеснителю!

Wo the rebellious and polluted, The oppressing city!

2 Н е слушает голоса, не принимает наставления, на Господа не уповает, к Богу своему не приближается.

She hath not hearkened to the voice, She hath not accepted instruction, In Jehovah she hath not trusted, Unto her God she hath not drawn near.

3 К нязья его посреди него--рыкающие львы, судьи его--вечерние волки, не оставляющие до утра ни одной кости.

Her heads in her midst roaring lions, Her judges evening wolves, They have not gnawn the bone in the morning.

4 П ророки его--люди легкомысленные, вероломные; священники его оскверняют святыню, попирают закон.

Her prophets unstable -- men of treachery, Her priests have polluted the sanctuary, They have violated the law.

5 Г осподь праведен посреди него, не делает неправды, каждое утро являет суд Свой неизменно; но беззаконник не знает стыда.

Jehovah righteous in her midst, He doth not do perverseness, Morning by morning His judgment he giveth to the light, It hath not been lacking, And the perverse doth not know shame.

6 Я истребил народы, разрушены твердыни их; пустыми сделал улицы их, так что никто уже не ходит по ним; разорены города их: нет ни одного человека, нет жителей.

I have cut off nations, Desolated have been their chief ones, I have laid waste their out-places without any passing by, Destroyed have been their cities, Without man, without inhabitant.

7 Я говорил: 'бойся только Меня, принимай наставление!' и не будет истреблено жилище его, и не постигнет его зло, какое Я постановил о нем; а они прилежно старались портить все свои действия.

I have said: Only, ye do fear Me, Ye do accept instruction, And her habitation is not cut off, All that I have appointed for her, But they have risen early, They have corrupted all their doings.

8 И так ждите Меня, говорит Господь, до того дня, когда Я восстану для опустошения, ибо Мною определено собрать народы, созвать царства, чтобы излить на них негодование Мое, всю ярость гнева Моего; ибо огнем ревности Моей пожрана будет вся земля.

Therefore, wait for Me -- an affirmation of Jehovah, For the day of My rising for prey, For My judgment to gather nations, To assemble kingdoms, To pour out on them Mine indignation, All the heat of Mine anger, For by the fire of My jealousy consumed is all the earth.

9 Т огда опять Я дам народам уста чистые, чтобы все призывали имя Господа и служили Ему единодушно.

For then do I turn unto peoples a pure lip, To call all of them by the name of Jehovah, To serve Him one shoulder.

10 И з заречных стран Ефиопии поклонники Мои, дети рассеянных Моих, принесут Мне дары.

From beyond the rivers of Cush, my supplicants, The daughter of My scattered ones, Do bring My present.

11 В тот день ты не будешь срамить себя всякими поступками твоими, какими ты грешил против Меня, ибо тогда Я удалю из среды твоей тщеславящихся твоею знатностью, и не будешь более превозноситься на святой горе Моей.

In that day thou art not ashamed because of any of thine actions, Wherewith thou hast transgressed against Me, For then do I turn aside from thy midst The exulting ones of thine excellency, And thou dost add no more to be haughty, In My holy mountain.

12 Н о оставлю среди тебя народ смиренный и простой, и они будут уповать на имя Господне.

And I have left in thy midst a people humble and poor, And they have trusted in the name of Jehovah.

13 О статки Израиля не будут делать неправды, не станут говорить лжи, и не найдется в устах их языка коварного, ибо сами будут пастись и покоиться, и никто не потревожит их.

The remnant of Israel do no perversity, nor speak lies, Nor found in their mouth is a deceitful tongue, For they have delight, and have lain down, And there is none troubling.

14 Л икуй, дщерь Сиона! торжествуй, Израиль! веселись и радуйся от всего сердца, дщерь Иерусалима!

Cry aloud, O daughter of Zion, shout, O Israel, Rejoice and exult with the whole heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.

15 О тменил Господь приговор над тобою, прогнал врага твоего! Господь, царь Израилев, посреди тебя: уже более не увидишь зла.

Jehovah hath turned aside thy judgments, He hath faced thine enemy, The king of Israel, Jehovah, in thy midst, Thou seest evil no more.

16 В тот день скажут Иерусалиму: 'не бойся', и Сиону: 'да не ослабевают руки твои!'

In that day it is said to Jerusalem, `Fear not, O Zion, let not thy hands be feeble.

17 Г осподь Бог твой среди тебя, Он силен спасти тебя; возвеселится о тебе радостью, будет милостив по любви Своей, будет торжествовать о тебе с ликованием.

Jehovah thy God in thy midst, A mighty one doth save, He rejoiceth over thee with joy, He doth work in His love, He joyeth over thee with singing.'

18 С етующих о торжественных празднествах Я соберу: твои они, на них тяготеет поношение.

Mine afflicted from the appointed place I have gathered, from thee they have been, Bearing for her sake reproach.

19 В от, Я стесню всех притеснителей твоих в то время и спасу хромлющее, и соберу рассеянное, и приведу их в почет и именитость на всей этой земле поношения их.

Lo, I am dealing with all afflicting thee at that time, And I have saved the halting one, And the driven out ones I do gather, And have set them for a praise and for a name, In all the land of their shame.

20 В то время приведу вас и тогда же соберу вас, ибо сделаю вас именитыми и почетными между всеми народами земли, когда возвращу плен ваш перед глазами вашими, говорит Господь.

At that time I bring you in, Even at the time of My assembling you, For I give you for a name, and for a praise, Among all peoples of the land, In My turning back your captivity before your eyes, said Jehovah!
