1 И воспел Давид песнь Господу в день, когда Господь избавил его от руки всех врагов его и от руки Саула, и сказал:

And David speaketh to Jehovah the words of this song in the day Jehovah hath delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies, and out of the hand of Saul,

2 Г осподь--твердыня моя и крепость моя и избавитель мой.

and he saith: `Jehovah my rock, And my bulwark, and a deliverer to me,

3 Б ог мой--скала моя; на Него я уповаю; щит мой, рог спасения моего, ограждение мое и убежище мое; Спаситель мой, от бед Ты избавил меня!

My God my rock -- I take refuge in Him; My shield, and the horn of my salvation, My high tower, and my refuge! My Saviour, from violence Thou savest me!

4 П ризову Господа достопоклоняемого и от врагов моих спасусь.

The Praised One, I call Jehovah: And from mine enemies I am saved.

5 О бъяли меня волны смерти, и потоки беззакония устрашили меня;

When the breakers of death compassed me, The streams of the worthless terrify me,

6 ц епи ада облегли меня, и сети смерти опутали меня.

The cords of Sheol have surrounded me, Before me have been the snares of death.

7 Н о в тесноте моей я призвал Господа и к Богу моему воззвал, и Он услышал из чертога Своего голос мой, и вопль мой до слуха Его.

In mine adversity I call Jehovah, And unto my God I call, And He heareth from His temple my voice, And my cry in His ears,

8 П отряслась, всколебалась земля, дрогнули и подвиглись основания небес, ибо разгневался.

And shake and tremble doth the earth, Foundations of the heavens are troubled, And are shaken, for He hath wrath!

9 П однялся дым от гнева Его и из уст Его огонь поядающий; горящие угли сыпались от Него.

Gone up hath smoke by His nostrils. And fire from His mouth devoureth, Brands have been kindled by it.

10 Н аклонил Он небеса и сошел; и мрак под ногами Его;

And He inclineth heaven, and cometh down, And thick darkness under His feet.

11 и воссел на Херувимов, и полетел, и понесся на крыльях ветра;

And He rideth on a cherub, and doth fly, And is seen on the wings of the wind.

12 и мраком покрыл Себя, как сению, сгустив воды облаков небесных;

And He setteth darkness Round about Him -- tabernacles, Darkness of waters -- thick clouds of the skies.

13 о т блистания пред Ним разгорались угли огненные.

From the brightness before Him Were brands of fire kindled!

14 В озгремел с небес Господь, и Всевышний дал глас Свой;

Thunder from the heavens doth Jehovah, And the Most High giveth forth His voice.

15 п устил стрелы и рассеял их; молниею и истребил их.

And He sendeth forth arrows, And scattereth them; Lightning, and troubleth them;

16 И открылись источники моря, обнажились основания вселенной от грозного гласа Господа, от дуновения духа гнева Его.

And seen are the streams of the sea, Revealed are foundations of the world, By the rebuke of Jehovah, From the breath of the spirit of His anger.

17 П ростер Он с высоты и взял меня, и извлек меня из вод многих;

He sendeth from above -- He taketh me, He draweth me out of many waters.

18 и збавил меня от врага моего сильного, от ненавидящих меня, которые были сильнее меня.

He delivereth me from my strong enemy, From those hating me, For they were stronger than I.

19 О ни восстали на меня в день бедствия моего; но Господь был опорою для меня

They are before me in a day of my calamity, And Jehovah is my support,

20 и вывел меня на пространное место, избавил меня, ибо Он благоволит ко мне.

And He bringeth me out to a large place, He draweth me out for He delighted in me.

21 В оздал мне Господь по правде моей, по чистоте рук моих вознаградил меня.

Jehovah recompenseth me, According to my righteousness, According to the cleanness of my hands, He doth return to me.

22 И бо я хранил пути Господа и не был нечестивым пред Богом моим,

For I have kept the ways of Jehovah, And have not done wickedly against my God.

23 и бо все заповеди Его предо мною, и от уставов Его я не отступал,

For all His judgments before me, As to His statutes, I turn not from them.

24 и был непорочен пред Ним, и остерегался, чтобы не согрешить мне.

And I am perfect before Him, And I keep myself from mine iniquity.

25 И воздал мне Господь по правде моей, по чистоте моей пред очами Его.

And Jehovah returneth to me, According to my righteousness, According to my cleanness before His eyes.

26 С милостивым Ты поступаешь милостиво, с мужем искренним--искренно,

With the kind Thou shewest Thyself kind, With the perfect man Thou shewest Thyself perfect,

27 с чистым--чисто, а с лукавым--по лукавству его.

With the pure Thou shewest Thyself pure, And with the perverse Thou shewest Thyself a wrestler.

28 Л юдей угнетенных Ты спасаешь и взором Своим унижаешь надменных.

And the poor people Thou dost save, And Thine eyes on the high causest to fall.

29 Т ы, Господи, светильник мой; Господь просвещает тьму мою.

For Thou my lamp, O Jehovah, And Jehovah doth lighten my darkness.

30 С Тобою я поражаю войско; с Богом моим восхожу на стену.

For by Thee I run -- a troop, By my God I leap a wall.

31 Б ог! --непорочен путь Его, чисто слово Господа, щит Он для всех, надеющихся на Него.

God! Perfect His way, The saying of Jehovah is tried, A shield He to all those trusting in Him.

32 И бо кто Бог, кроме Господа, и кто защита, кроме Бога нашего?

For who is God save Jehovah? And who a Rock save our God?

33 Б ог препоясует меня силою, устрояет мне верный путь;

God -- my bulwark, strength, And He maketh perfect my way;

34 д елает ноги мои, как оленьи, и на высотах поставляет меня;

Making my feet like hinds, And on my high places causeth me to stand,

35 н аучает руки мои брани и мышцы мои напрягает, как медный лук.

Teaching my hands for battle, And brought down was a bow of brass by mine arms,

36 Т ы даешь мне щит спасения Твоего, и милость Твоя возвеличивает меня.

And Thou givest to me the shield of Thy salvation, And Thy lowliness maketh me great.

37 Т ы расширяешь шаг мой подо мною, и не колеблются ноги мои.

Thou enlargest my step under me, And mine ankles have not slidden.

38 Я гоняюсь за врагами моими и истребляю их, и не возвращаюсь, доколе не уничтожу их;

I pursue mine enemies and destroy them, And I turn not till they are consumed.

39 и истребляю их и поражаю их, и не встают и падают под ноги мои.

And I consume them, and smite them, And they rise not, and fall under my feet.

40 Т ы препоясываешь меня силою для войны и низлагаешь предо мною восстающих на меня;

And Thou girdest me strength for battle, Thou causest my withstanders to bow under me.

41 Т ы обращаешь ко мне тыл врагов моих, и я истребляю ненавидящих меня.

And mine enemies -- Thou givest to me the neck, Those hating me -- and I cut them off.

42 О ни взывают, но нет спасающего, --ко Господу, но Он не внемлет им.

They look, and there is no saviour; Unto Jehovah, and He hath not answered them.

43 Я рассеваю их, как прах земной, как грязь уличную мну их и топчу их.

And I beat them as dust of the earth, As mire of the streets I beat them small -- I spread them out!

44 Т ы избавил меня от мятежа народа моего; Ты сохранил меня, чтоб быть мне главою над иноплеменниками; народ, которого я не знал, служит мне.

And -- Thou dost deliver me From the strivings of my people, Thou placest me for a head of nations; A people I have not known do serve me.

45 И ноплеменники ласкательствуют предо мною; по слуху повинуются мне.

Sons of a stranger feign obedience to me, At the hearing of the ear they hearken to me.

46 И ноплеменники бледнеют и трепещут в укреплениях своих.

Sons of a stranger fade away, And gird themselves by their close places.

47 Ж ив Господь и благословен защитник мой! Да будет превознесен Бог, убежище спасения моего,

Jehovah liveth, and blessed my Rock, And exalted is my God -- The Rock of my salvation.

48 Б ог, мстящий за меня и покоряющий мне народы

God -- who is giving vengeance to me, And bringing down peoples under me,

49 и избавляющий меня от врагов моих! Над восстающими против меня Ты возвысил меня; от человека жестокого Ты избавил меня.

And bringing me forth from mine enemies, Yea, above my withstanders Thou raisest me up. From a man of violence Thou deliverest me.

50 З а то я буду славить Тебя, Господи, между иноплеменниками и буду петь имени Твоему,

Therefore I confess Thee, O Jehovah, among nations. And to Thy name I sing praise.

51 в еличественно спасающий царя Своего и творящий милость помазаннику Своему Давиду и потомству его во веки!

Magnifying the salvations of His king, And doing loving-kindness to His anointed, To David, and to his seed -- unto the age!'
