1 ( 96-1) Господь царствует: да радуется земля; да веселятся многочисленные острова.

Jehovah hath reigned, The earth is joyful, many isles rejoice.

2 ( 96-2) Облако и мрак окрест Его; правда и суд--основание престола Его.

Cloud and darkness round about Him, Righteousness and judgment the basis of His throne.

3 ( 96-3) Пред Ним идет огонь и вокруг попаляет врагов Его.

Fire before Him goeth, And burneth round about His adversaries.

4 ( 96-4) Молнии Его освещают вселенную; земля видит и трепещет.

Lightened have His lightnings the world, The earth hath seen, and is pained.

5 ( 96-5) Горы, как воск, тают от лица Господа, от лица Господа всей земли.

Hills, like wax, melted before Jehovah, Before the Lord of all the earth.

6 ( 96-6) Небеса возвещают правду Его, и все народы видят славу Его.

The heavens declared His righteousness, And all the peoples have seen His honour.

7 ( 96-7) Да постыдятся все служащие истуканам, хвалящиеся идолами. Поклонитесь пред Ним, все боги.

Ashamed are all servants of a graven image, Those boasting themselves in idols, Bow yourselves to him, all ye gods.

8 ( 96-8) Слышит Сион и радуется, и веселятся дщери Иудины ради судов Твоих, Господи,

Zion hath heard and rejoiceth, And daughters of Judah are joyful, Because of Thy judgments, O Jehovah.

9 ( 96-9) ибо Ты, Господи, высок над всею землею, превознесен над всеми богами.

For Thou, Jehovah, Most High over all the earth, Greatly Thou hast been exalted over all gods.

10 ( 96-10) Любящие Господа, ненавидьте зло! Он хранит души святых Своих; из руки нечестивых избавляет их.

Ye who love Jehovah, hate evil, He is keeping the souls of His saints, From the hand of the wicked he delivereth them.

11 ( 96-11) Свет сияет на праведника, и на правых сердцем--веселие.

Light sown for the righteous, And for the upright of heart -- joy.

12 ( 96-12) Радуйтесь, праведные, о Господе и славьте память святыни Его.

Rejoice, ye righteous, in Jehovah, And give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness!
