1 К огда Иисус окончил все слова сии, то сказал ученикам Своим:

And it came to pass, when Jesus finished all these words, he said to his disciples,

2 в ы знаете, что через два дня будет Пасха, и Сын Человеческий предан будет на распятие.

`Ye have known that after two days the passover cometh, and the Son of Man is delivered up to be crucified.'

3 Т огда собрались первосвященники и книжники и старейшины народа во двор первосвященника, по имени Каиафы,

Then were gathered together the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, to the court of the chief priest who was called Caiaphas;

4 и положили в совете взять Иисуса хитростью и убить;

and they consulted together that they might take Jesus by guile, and kill,

5 н о говорили: только не в праздник, чтобы не сделалось возмущения в народе.

and they said, `Not in the feast, that there may not be a tumult among the people.'

6 К огда же Иисус был в Вифании, в доме Симона прокаженного,

And Jesus having been in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper,

7 п риступила к Нему женщина с алавастровым сосудом мира драгоценного и возливала Ему возлежащему на голову.

there came to him a woman having an alabaster box of ointment, very precious, and she poured on his head as he is reclining (at meat).

8 У видев это, ученики Его вознегодовали и говорили: к чему такая трата?

And having seen, his disciples were much displeased, saying, `To what purpose this waste?

9 И бо можно было бы продать это миро за большую цену и дать нищим.

for this ointment could have been sold for much, and given to the poor.'

10 Н о Иисус, уразумев сие, сказал им: что смущаете женщину? она доброе дело сделала для Меня:

And Jesus having known, said to them, `Why do ye give trouble to the woman? for a good work she wrought for me;

11 и бо нищих всегда имеете с собою, а Меня не всегда имеете;

for the poor always ye have with you, and me ye have not always;

12 в озлив миро сие на тело Мое, она приготовила Меня к погребению;

for she having put this ointment on my body -- for my burial she did.

13 и стинно говорю вам: где ни будет проповедано Евангелие сие в целом мире, сказано будет в память ее и о том, что она сделала.

Verily I say to you, Wherever this good news may be proclaimed in the whole world, what this did shall also be spoken of -- for a memorial of her.'

14 Т огда один из двенадцати, называемый Иуда Искариот, пошел к первосвященникам

Then one of the twelve, who is called Judas Iscariot, having gone unto the chief priests, said,

15 и сказал: что вы дадите мне, и я вам предам Его? Они предложили ему тридцать сребренников;

`What are ye willing to give me, and I will deliver him up to you?' and they weighed out to him thirty silverlings,

16 и с того времени он искал удобного случая предать Его.

and from that time he was seeking a convenient season to deliver him up.

17 В первый же день опресночный приступили ученики к Иисусу и сказали Ему: где велишь нам приготовить Тебе пасху?

And on the first of the unleavened food came the disciples near to Jesus, saying to him, `Where wilt thou we may prepare for thee to eat the passover?'

18 О н сказал: пойдите в город к такому-то и скажите ему: Учитель говорит: время Мое близко; у тебя совершу пасху с учениками Моими.

and he said, `Go away to the city, unto such a one, and say to him, The Teacher saith, My time is nigh; near thee I keep the passover, with my disciples;'

19 У ченики сделали, как повелел им Иисус, и приготовили пасху.

and the disciples did as Jesus appointed them, and prepared the passover.

20 К огда же настал вечер, Он возлег с двенадцатью учениками;

And evening having come, he was reclining (at meat) with the twelve,

21 и когда они ели, сказал: истинно говорю вам, что один из вас предаст Меня.

and while they are eating, he said, `Verily I say to you, that one of you shall deliver me up.'

22 О ни весьма опечалились, и начали говорить Ему, каждый из них: не я ли, Господи?

And being grieved exceedingly, they began to say to him, each of them, `Is it I, Sir?'

23 О н же сказал в ответ: опустивший со Мною руку в блюдо, этот предаст Меня;

And he answering said, `He who did dip with me the hand in the dish, he will deliver me up;

24 в прочем Сын Человеческий идет, как писано о Нем, но горе тому человеку, которым Сын Человеческий предается: лучше было бы этому человеку не родиться.

the Son of Man doth indeed go, as it hath been written concerning him, but wo to that man through whom the Son of Man is delivered up! good it were for him if that man had not been born.'

25 П ри сем и Иуда, предающий Его, сказал: не я ли, Равви? говорит ему: ты сказал.

And Judas -- he who delivered him up -- answering said, `Is it I, Rabbi?' He saith to him, `Thou hast said.'

26 И когда они ели, Иисус взял хлеб и, благословив, преломил и, раздавая ученикам, сказал: приимите, ядите: сие есть Тело Мое.

And while they were eating, Jesus having taken the bread, and having blessed, did brake, and was giving to the disciples, and said, `Take, eat, this is my body;'

27 И , взяв чашу и благодарив, подал им и сказал: пейте из нее все,

and having taken the cup, and having given thanks, he gave to them, saying, `Drink ye of it -- all;

28 и бо сие есть Кровь Моя Нового Завета, за многих изливаемая во оставление грехов.

for this is my blood of the new covenant, that for many is being poured out -- to remission of sins;

29 С казываю же вам, что отныне не буду пить от плода сего виноградного до того дня, когда буду пить с вами новое в Царстве Отца Моего.

and I say to you, that I may not drink henceforth on this produce of the vine, till that day when I may drink it with you new in the reign of my Father.'

30 И , воспев, пошли на гору Елеонскую.

And having sung a hymn, they went forth to the mount of the Olives;

31 Т огда говорит им Иисус: все вы соблазнитесь о Мне в эту ночь, ибо написано: поражу пастыря, и рассеются овцы стада;

then saith Jesus to them, `All ye shall be stumbled at me this night; for it hath been written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad;

32 п о воскресении же Моем предварю вас в Галилее.

but, after my having risen, I will go before you to Galilee.'

33 П етр сказал Ему в ответ: если и все соблазнятся о Тебе, я никогда не соблазнюсь.

And Peter answering said to him, `Even if all shall be stumbled at thee, I will never be stumbled.'

34 И исус сказал ему: истинно говорю тебе, что в эту ночь, прежде нежели пропоет петух, трижды отречешься от Меня.

Jesus said to him, `Verily I say to thee, that, this night, before cock-crowing, thrice thou wilt deny me.'

35 Г оворит Ему Петр: хотя бы надлежало мне и умереть с Тобою, не отрекусь от Тебя. Подобное говорили и все ученики.

Peter saith to him, `Even if it may be necessary for me to die with thee, I will not deny thee;' in like manner also said all the disciples.

36 П отом приходит с ними Иисус на место, называемое Гефсимания, и говорит ученикам: посидите тут, пока Я пойду, помолюсь там.

Then come with them doth Jesus to a place called Gethsemane, and he saith to the disciples, `Sit ye here, till having gone away, I shall pray yonder.'

37 И , взяв с Собою Петра и обоих сыновей Зеведеевых, начал скорбеть и тосковать.

And having taken Peter, and the two sons of Zebedee, he began to be sorrowful, and to be very heavy;

38 Т огда говорит им Иисус: душа Моя скорбит смертельно; побудьте здесь и бодрствуйте со Мною.

then saith he to them, `Exceedingly sorrowful is my soul -- unto death; abide ye here, and watch with me.'

39 И , отойдя немного, пал на лице Свое, молился и говорил: Отче Мой! если возможно, да минует Меня чаша сия; впрочем не как Я хочу, но как Ты.

And having gone forward a little, he fell on his face, praying, and saying, `My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as Thou.'

40 И приходит к ученикам и находит их спящими, и говорит Петру: так ли не могли вы один час бодрствовать со Мною?

And he cometh unto the disciples, and findeth them sleeping, and he saith to Peter, `So! ye were not able one hour to watch with me!

41 б одрствуйте и молитесь, чтобы не впасть в искушение: дух бодр, плоть же немощна.

watch, and pray, that ye may not enter into temptation: the spirit indeed is forward, but the flesh weak.'

42 Е ще, отойдя в другой раз, молился, говоря: Отче Мой! если не может чаша сия миновать Меня, чтобы Мне не пить ее, да будет воля Твоя.

Again, a second time, having gone away, he prayed, saying, `My Father, if this cup cannot pass away from me except I drink it, Thy will be done;'

43 И , придя, находит их опять спящими, ибо у них глаза отяжелели.

and having come, he findeth them again sleeping, for their eyes were heavy.

44 И , оставив их, отошел опять и помолился в третий раз, сказав то же слово.

And having left them, having gone away again, he prayed a third time, saying the same word;

45 Т огда приходит к ученикам Своим и говорит им: вы всё еще спите и почиваете? вот, приблизился час, и Сын Человеческий предается в руки грешников;

then cometh he unto his disciples, and saith to them, `Sleep on henceforth, and rest! lo, the hour hath come nigh, and the Son of Man is delivered up to the hands of sinners.

46 в станьте, пойдем: вот, приблизился предающий Меня.

Rise, let us go; lo, he hath come nigh who is delivering me up.'

47 И , когда еще говорил Он, вот Иуда, один из двенадцати, пришел, и с ним множество народа с мечами и кольями, от первосвященников и старейшин народных.

And while he is yet speaking, lo, Judas, one of the twelve did come, and with him a great multitude, with swords and sticks, from the chief priests and elders of the people.

48 П редающий же Его дал им знак, сказав: Кого я поцелую, Тот и есть, возьмите Его.

And he who did deliver him up did give them a sign, saying, `Whomsoever I will kiss, it is he: lay hold on him;'

49 И , тотчас подойдя к Иисусу, сказал: радуйся, Равви! И поцеловал Его.

and immediately, having come to Jesus, he said, `Hail, Rabbi,' and kissed him;

50 И исус же сказал ему: друг, для чего ты пришел? Тогда подошли и возложили руки на Иисуса, и взяли Его.

and Jesus said to him, `Comrade, for what art thou present?' Then having come near, they laid hands on Jesus, and took hold on him.

51 И вот, один из бывших с Иисусом, простерши руку, извлек меч свой и, ударив раба первосвященникова, отсек ему ухо.

And lo, one of those with Jesus, having stretched forth the hand, drew his sword, and having struck the servant of the chief priest, he took off his ear.

52 Т огда говорит ему Иисус: возврати меч твой в его место, ибо все, взявшие меч, мечом погибнут;

Then saith Jesus to him, `Turn back thy sword to its place; for all who did take the sword, by the sword shall perish;

53 и ли думаешь, что Я не могу теперь умолить Отца Моего, и Он представит Мне более, нежели двенадцать легионов Ангелов?

dost thou think that I am not able now to call upon my Father, and He will place beside me more than twelve legions of messengers?

54 к ак же сбудутся Писания, что так должно быть?

how then may the Writings be fulfilled, that thus it behoveth to happen?'

55 В тот час сказал Иисус народу: как будто на разбойника вышли вы с мечами и кольями взять Меня; каждый день с вами сидел Я, уча в храме, и вы не брали Меня.

In that hour said Jesus to the multitudes, `As against a robber ye did come forth, with swords and sticks, to take me! daily with you I was sitting teaching in the temple, and ye did not lay hold on me;

56 С ие же всё было, да сбудутся писания пророков. Тогда все ученики, оставив Его, бежали.

but all this hath come to pass, that the Writings of the prophets may be fulfilled;' then all the disciples, having left him, fled.

57 А взявшие Иисуса отвели Его к Каиафе первосвященнику, куда собрались книжники и старейшины.

And those laying hold on Jesus led away unto Caiaphas the chief priest, where the scribes and the elders were gathered together,

58 П етр же следовал за Ним издали, до двора первосвященникова; и, войдя внутрь, сел со служителями, чтобы видеть конец.

and Peter was following him afar off, unto the court of the chief priest, and having gone in within, he was sitting with the officers, to see the end.

59 П ервосвященники и старейшины и весь синедрион искали лжесвидетельства против Иисуса, чтобы предать Его смерти,

And the chief priests, and the elders, and all the council, were seeking false witness against Jesus, that they might put him to death,

60 и не находили; и, хотя много лжесвидетелей приходило, не нашли. Но наконец пришли два лжесвидетеля

and they did not find; and many false witnesses having come near, they did not find; and at last two false witnesses having come near,

61 и сказали: Он говорил: могу разрушить храм Божий и в три дня создать его.

said, `This one said, I am able to throw down the sanctuary of God, and after three days to build it.'

62 И , встав, первосвященник сказал Ему: ничего не отвечаешь? что они против Тебя свидетельствуют?

And the chief priest having stood up, said to him, `Nothing thou dost answer! what do these witness against thee?

63 И исус молчал. И первосвященник сказал Ему: заклинаю Тебя Богом живым, скажи нам, Ты ли Христос, Сын Божий?

and Jesus was silent. And the chief priest answering said to him, `I adjure thee, by the living God, that thou mayest say to us, if thou art the Christ -- the Son of God.'

64 И исус говорит ему: ты сказал; даже сказываю вам: отныне узрите Сына Человеческого, сидящего одесную силы и грядущего на облаках небесных.

Jesus saith to him, `Thou hast said; nevertheless I say to you, hereafter ye shall see the Son of Man sitting on the right hand of the power, and coming upon the clouds, of the heaven.'

65 Т огда первосвященник разодрал одежды свои и сказал: Он богохульствует! на что еще нам свидетелей? вот, теперь вы слышали богохульство Его!

Then the chief priest rent his garments, saying, -- `He hath spoken evil; what need have we yet of witnesses? lo, now ye heard his evil speaking;

66 к ак вам кажется? Они же сказали в ответ: повинен смерти.

what think ye?' and they answering said, `He is worthy of death.'

67 Т огда плевали Ему в лице и заушали Его; другие же ударяли Его по ланитам

Then did they spit in his face and buffet him, and others did slap,

68 и говорили: прореки нам, Христос, кто ударил Тебя?

saying, `Declare to us, O Christ, who he is that struck thee?'

69 П етр же сидел вне на дворе. И подошла к нему одна служанка и сказала: и ты был с Иисусом Галилеянином.

And Peter without was sitting in the court, and there came near to him a certain maid, saying, `And thou wast with Jesus of Galilee!'

70 Н о он отрекся перед всеми, сказав: не знаю, что ты говоришь.

And he denied before all, saying, `I have not known what thou sayest.'

71 К огда же он выходил за ворота, увидела его другая, и говорит бывшим там: и этот был с Иисусом Назореем.

And he having gone forth to the porch, another female saw him, and saith to those there, `And this one was with Jesus of Nazareth;'

72 И он опять отрекся с клятвою, что не знает Сего Человека.

and again did he deny with an oath -- `I have not known the man.'

73 Н емного спустя подошли стоявшие там и сказали Петру: точно и ты из них, ибо и речь твоя обличает тебя.

And after a little those standing near having come, said to Peter, `Truly thou also art of them, for even thy speech doth make thee manifest.'

74 Т огда он начал клясться и божиться, что не знает Сего Человека. И вдруг запел петух.

Then began he to anathematise, and to swear -- `I have not known the man;' and immediately did a cock crow,

75 И вспомнил Петр слово, сказанное ему Иисусом: прежде нежели пропоет петух, трижды отречешься от Меня. И выйдя вон, плакал горько.

and Peter remembered the saying of Jesus, he having said to him -- `Before cock-crowing, thrice thou wilt deny me;' and having gone without, he did weep bitterly.
