1 И был царь Соломон царем над всем Израилем.

And king Solomon is king over all Israel,

2 И вот начальники, которые у него: Азария, сын Садока священника;

and these the heads whom he hath: Azariah son of Zadok the priest;

3 Е лихореф и Ахия, сыновья Сивы, писцы; Иосафат, сын Ахилуда, дееписатель;

Elihoreph and Ahiah sons of Shisha scribes; Jehoshaphat son of Ahilud remembrancer;

4 В анея, сын Иодая, военачальник; Садок и Авиафар--священники;

and Benaiah son of Jehoiada over the host; and Zadok and Abiathar priests;

5 А зария, сын Нафана, начальник над приставниками, и Завуф, сын Нафана священника--друг царя;

and Azariah son of Nathan over the officers; and Zabud son of Nathan minister, friend of the king;

6 А хисар--начальник над домом, и Адонирам, сын Авды, --над податями.

And Ahishar over the household, and Adoniram son of Abda over the tribute.

7 И было у Соломона двенадцать приставников над всем Израилем, и они доставляли продовольствие царю и дому его; каждый должен был доставлять продовольствие на один месяц в году.

And Solomon hath twelve officers over all Israel, and they have sustained the king and his household -- a month in the year is on each one for sustenance;

8 В от имена их: Бен-Хур--на горе Ефремовой;

and these their names: Ben-Hur in the hill-country of Ephraim;

9 Б ен-Декер--в Макаце и в Шаалбиме, в Вефсамисе и в Елоне и в Беф-Ханане;

Ben-Dekar in Makaz, and Shaalbim, and Beth-Shemesh, and Elon-Beth-Hanan.

10 Б ен-Хесед--в Арюбофе; ему же принадлежал Соко и вся земля Хефер;

Ben-Hesed in Aruboth, hath Sochoh and all the land of Hepher;

11 Б ен-Авинадав-- всем Нафаф-Дором; Тафафь, дочь Соломона, была его женою;

Ben-Abinadab all the elevation of Dor, Taphath daughter of Solomon became his wife.

12 В аана, сын Ахилуда, в Фаанахе и Мегиддо и во всем Беф-Сане, что близ Цартана ниже Иезрееля, от Беф-Сана до Абел-Мехола, и даже за Иокмеам;

Baana Ben-Ahilud Taanach and Megiddo, and all Beth-Shean, which by Zartanah beneath Jezreel, from Beth-Shean unto Abel-Meholah, unto beyond Jokneam.

13 Б ен-Гевер--в Рамофе Галаадском; у него были селения Иаира, сына Манассиина, что в Галааде; у него также область Аргов, что в Васане, шестьдесят больших городов со стенами и медными затворами;

Ben-Geber, in Ramoth-Gilead, hath the small towns of Jair son of Manasseh, which in Gilead; he hath a portion of Argob that in Bashan, sixty great cities wall and brazen bar.

14 А хинадав, сын Гиддо, в Маханаиме;

Ahinadab son of Iddo Mahanaim.

15 А химаас--в Неффалимовой; он взял себе в жену Васемафу, дочь Соломона;

Ahimaaz in Naphtali; he also hath taken Basemath daughter of Solomon for a wife.

16 В аана, сын Хушая, в Асировой и в Баалофе;

Baanah Ben-Hushai in Asher, and in Aloth.

17 И осафат, сын Паруаха, в Иссахаровой;

Jehoshaphat Ben-Paruah in Issachar.

18 Ш имей, сын Елы, в Вениаминовой;

Shimei Ben-Elah in Benjamin.

19 Г евер, сын Урия, в земле Галаадской, в земле Сигона, царя Аморрейского, и Ога, царя Васанского. Он был приставник в этой земле.

Geber Ben-Uri in the land of Gilead, the land of Sihon king of the Amorite, and of Og king of Bashan: and one officer who in the land.

20 И уда и Израиль, многочисленные как песок у моря, ели, пили и веселились.

Judah and Israel many, as the sand that by the sea for multitude, eating and drinking and rejoicing.

21 С оломон владел всеми царствами от реки до земли Филистимской и до пределов Египта. Они приносили дары и служили Соломону во все дни жизни его.

And Solomon hath been ruling over all the kingdoms, from the River the land of the Philistines and unto the border of Egypt: they are bringing nigh a present, and serving Solomon, all days of his life.

22 П родовольствие Соломона на каждый день составляли: тридцать коров муки пшеничной и шестьдесят коров прочей муки,

And the provision of Solomon for one day is thirty cors of flour, and sixty cors of meal;

23 д есять волов откормленных и двадцать волов с пастбища, и сто овец, кроме оленей, и серн, и сайгаков, и откормленных птиц;

ten fat oxen, and twenty feeding oxen, and a hundred sheep, apart from hart, and roe, and fallow-deer, and fatted beasts of the stalls,

24 и бо он владычествовал над всею землею по эту сторону реки, от Типсаха до Газы, над всеми царями по эту сторону реки, и был у него мир со всеми окрестными странами.

for he is ruling over all beyond the river, from Tiphsah and unto Gaza, over all the kings beyond the river, and he hath peace from all his servants round about.

25 И жили Иуда и Израиль спокойно, каждый под виноградником своим и под смоковницею своею, от Дана до Вирсавии, во все дни Соломона.

And Judah dwelleth -- and Israel -- in confidence, each under his vine, and under his fig-tree, from Dan even unto Beer-Sheba, all the days of Solomon.

26 И было у Соломона сорок тысяч стойл для коней колесничных и двенадцать тысяч для конницы.

And Solomon hath forty thousand stalls of horses for his chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen.

27 И те приставники доставляли царю Соломону все принадлежащее к столу царя, каждый в свой месяц, и не допускали недостатка ни в чем.

And these officers have sustained king Solomon and every one drawing near unto the table of king Solomon, each his month; they let nothing be lacking.

28 И ячмень и солому для коней и для мулов доставляли каждый в свою очередь на место, где находился царь.

And the barley and the straw, for horses and for dromedaries, they bring in unto the place where they are, each according to his ordinance.

29 И дал Бог Соломону мудрость и весьма великий разум, и обширный ум, как песок на берегу моря.

And God giveth wisdom to Solomon, and understanding, very much, and breadth of heart, as the sand that on the edge of the sea;

30 И была мудрость Соломона выше мудрости всех сынов востока и всей мудрости Египтян.

and the wisdom of Solomon is greater than the wisdom of any of the sons of the east, and than all the wisdom of Egypt;

31 О н был мудрее всех людей, мудрее и Ефана Езрахитянина, и Емана, и Халкола, и Дарды, сыновей Махола, и имя его было в славе у всех окрестных народов.

and he is wiser than all men, than Ethan the Ezrahite, and Heman, and Chalcol, and Darda, sons of Mahol, and his name is in all the nations round about.

32 И изрек он три тысячи притчей, и песней его было тысяча и пять;

And he speaketh three thousand similes, and his songs five, and the chief one;

33 и говорил он о деревах, от кедра, что в Ливане, до иссопа, вырастающего из стены; говорил и о животных, и о птицах, и о пресмыкающихся, и о рыбах.

and he speaketh concerning the trees, from the cedar that in Lebanon, even unto the hyssop that is coming out in the wall, and he speaketh concerning the cattle, and concerning the fowl, and concerning the creeping things, and concerning the fishes,

34 И приходили от всех народов послушать мудрости Соломона, от всех царей земных, которые слышали о мудрости его.

and there come out of all the peoples to hear the wisdom of Solomon, from all kings of the earth who have heard of his wisdom.
