1 И было ко мне слово Господне:

And there is a word of Jehovah unto me, saying, `And thou, son of man, Thus said the Lord Jehovah to the ground of Israel:

2 и ты, сын человеческий,: так говорит Господь Бог; земле Израилевой конец, --конец пришел на четыре края земли.

An end, come hath the end on the four corners of the land.

3 В от конец тебе; и пошлю на тебя гнев Мой, и буду судить тебя по путям твоим, и возложу на тебя все мерзости твои.

Now the end unto thee, And I have sent Mine anger upon thee, And judged thee according to thy ways, And set against thee all thine abominations.

4 И не пощадит тебя око Мое, и не помилую, и воздам тебе по путям твоим, и мерзости твои с тобою будут, и узнаете, что Я Господь.

And no pity on thee hath Mine eye, nor do I spare, For thy ways against thee I do set, And thine abominations are in thy midst, And ye have known that I Jehovah.

5 Т ак говорит Господь Бог: беда единственная, вот, идет беда.

Thus said the Lord Jehovah: Evil, a single evil, lo, it hath come.

6 К онец пришел, пришел конец, встал на тебя; вот дошла,

An end hath come, come hath the end, It hath waked for thee, lo, it hath come.

7 д ошла напасть до тебя, житель земли! приходит время, приближается день смятения, а не веселых восклицаний на горах.

Come hath the morning unto thee, O inhabitant of the land! Come hath the time, near a day of trouble, And not the shouting of mountains.

8 В от, скоро изолью на тебя ярость Мою и совершу над тобою гнев Мой, и буду судить тебя по путям твоим, и возложу на тебя все мерзости твои.

Now, shortly I pour out My fury on thee, And have completed Mine anger against thee, And judged thee according to thy ways, And set against thee all thine abominations.

9 И не пощадит тебя око Мое, и не помилую. По путям твоим воздам тебе, и мерзости твои с тобою будут; и узнаете, что Я Господь каратель.

And not pity doth Mine eye, nor do I spare, According to thy ways unto thee I give, And thine abominations are in thy midst, And ye have known that I Jehovah the smiter.

10 В от день! вот пришла, наступила напасть! жезл вырос, гордость разрослась.

Lo, the day, lo, it hath come, Gone forth hath the morning, Blossomed hath the rod, flourished the pride.

11 В осстает сила на жезл нечестия; ничего от них, и от богатства их, и от шума их, и от пышности их.

The violence hath risen to a rod of wickedness, There is none of them, nor of their multitude, Nor of their noise, nor is there wailing for them.

12 П ришло время, наступил день; купивший не радуйся, и продавший не плачь; ибо гнев над всем множеством их.

Come hath the time, arrived hath the day, The buyer doth not rejoice, And the seller doth not become a mourner, For wrath unto all its multitude.

13 И бо продавший не возвратится к проданному, хотя бы и остались они в живых; ибо пророческое видение о всем множестве их не отменится, и никто своим беззаконием не укрепит своей жизни.

For the seller to the sold thing turneth not, And yet among the living their life, For the vision unto all its multitude, It doth not turn back, And none by his iniquity doth strengthen his life.

14 З атрубят в трубу, и все готовится, но никто не идет на войну: ибо гнев Мой над всем множеством их.

They have blown with a trumpet to prepare the whole, And none is going to battle, For My wrath unto all its multitude.

15 В не дома меч, а в доме мор и голод. Кто в поле, тот умрет от меча; а кто в городе, того пожрут голод и моровая язва.

The sword without, And the pestilence and the famine within, He who is in a field by sword dieth, And he who is in a city, Famine and pestilence devour him.

16 А уцелевшие из них убегут и будут на горах, как голуби долин; все они будут стонать, каждый за свое беззаконие.

And escaped away have their fugitives, And they have been on the mountains As doves of the valleys, All of them make a noising -- each for his iniquity.

17 У всех руки опустятся, и у всех колени задрожат, вода.

All the hands are feeble, and all knees go -- waters.

18 Т огда они препояшутся вретищем, и обоймет их трепет; и у всех на лицах будет стыд, и у всех на головах плешь.

And they have girded on sackcloth, And covered them hath trembling, And unto all faces shame, And on all their heads -- baldness.

19 С еребро свое они выбросят на улицы, и золото у них будет в пренебрежении. Серебро их и золото их не сильно будет спасти их в день ярости Господа. Они не насытят ими душ своих и не наполнят утроб своих; ибо оно было поводом к беззаконию их.

Their silver into out-places they cast, And their gold impurity becometh. Their silver and their gold is not able to deliver them, In a day of the wrath of Jehovah, Their soul they do not satisfy, And their bowels they do not fill, For the stumbling-block of their iniquity it hath been.

20 И в красных нарядах своих они превращали его в гордость, и делали из него изображения гнусных своих истуканов; за то и сделаю его нечистым для них;

As to the beauty of his ornament, For excellency He set it, And the images of their abominations, Their detestable things -- they made in it, Therefore I have given it to them for impurity,

21 и отдам его в руки чужим в добычу и беззаконникам земли на расхищение, и они осквернят его.

And I have given it into the hand of the strangers for a prey, And to the wicked of the land for a spoil, And they have polluted it.

22 И отвращу от них лице Мое, и осквернят сокровенное Мое; и придут туда грабители, и осквернят его.

And I have turned My face from them, And they have polluted My hidden place, Yea, come into it have destroyers, and polluted it.

23 С делай цепь, ибо земля эта наполнена кровавыми злодеяниями, и город полон насилий.

Make the chain; for the land Hath been full of bloody judgments, And the city hath been full of violence.

24 Я приведу злейших из народов, и завладеют домами их. И положу конец надменности сильных, и будут осквернены святыни их.

And I have brought in the wicked of the nations, And they have possessed their houses, And I have caused to cease the excellency of the strong, And polluted have been those sanctifying them.

25 И дет пагуба; будут искать мира, и не найдут.

Destruction hath come, And they have sought peace, and there is none.

26 Б еда пойдет за бедою и весть за вестью; и будут просить у пророка видения, и не станет учения у священника и совета у старцев.

Mischief on mischief cometh, and report is on report, And they have sought a vision from a prophet, And law doth perish from the priest, And counsel from the elders,

27 Ц арь будет сетовать, и князь облечется в ужас, и у народа земли будут дрожать руки. Поступлю с ними по путям их, и по судам их буду судить их; и узнают, что Я Господь.

The king doth become a mourner, And a prince putteth on desolation, And the hands of the people of the land are troubled, From their own way I deal with them, And with their own judgments I judge them, And they have known that I Jehovah!'
