1 P astaj nisi përsëri të mësojë në breg të detit; dhe rreth tij u mblodh një turmë aq e madhe, sa që ai hyri në barkë dhe rrinte ulur në det, ndërsa gjithë turma ishte në tokë pranë detit.

Jesus began to teach by the sea-shore again. Many people gathered around Him. There were so many He had to get into a boat and sit down. The people were on the shore.

2 D he ai u mësonte atyre shumë gjëra në shëmbëlltyra, dhe u thoshte atyre në mësimin e tij:

He taught them many things by using picture-stories. As He taught, He said,

3 “ Dëgjoni! Ja, doli mbjellësi të mbjellë.

“Listen! A man went out to plant seed.

4 D he ndodhi që kur hidhte farën, një pjesë e farës ra gjatë rrugës dhe zogjtë e qiellit erdhën dhe e hëngrën.

As he planted the seed, some fell by the side of the road. Birds came and ate them.

5 N jë pjesë tjetër ra në gurishte, ku nuk kishte shumë dhe dhe mbiu menjëherë, sepse s’kishte një tokë të thellë.

Some seed fell among rocks. It came up at once because there was so little ground.

6 P or, kur doli dielli, u dogj; dhe me që nuk kishte rrënjë, u tha.

But it dried up when the sun was high in the sky because it had no root.

7 N jë pjesë tjetër ra midis ferrave; ferrat u rritën, e mbyten dhe nuk dha fryt.

Some seed fell among thorns. The thorns grew and did not give the seed room to grow. This seed gave no grain.

8 N jë pjesë tjetër ra në tokë të mirë, dhe solli frut që rritej, dhe u zhvillua për të dhënë njëra tridhjetë, tjetra gjashtëdhjetë dhe tjetra njëqind.”

Some seed fell on good ground. It came up and grew and gave much grain. Some gave thirty times as much grain. Some gave sixty times as much grain. Some gave one hundred times as much grain.”

9 P astaj ai u tha atyre: “Kush ka veshë për të dëgjuar, le të dëgjojë!.”

He said to them, “You have ears, then listen!”

10 T ani kur ishte vetëm, ata që i rrinin përreth bashkë me të dymbëdhjetët e pyetën për shëmbëlltyrën.

Those who were with Jesus and the twelve followers came to Him when He was alone. They asked about the picture-story.

11 D he ai u tha atyre: “Juve u është dhënë të njihni misterin e mbretërisë së Perëndisë; kurse atyre që janë përjashta të gjitha këto jepen me shëmbëlltyra,

He said to them, “You were given the secrets about the holy nation of God. Everything is told in picture-stories to those who are outside the holy nation of God.

12 q ë: "Duke parë, të shohin, por të mos vën re; edhe duke dëgjuar, të dëgjojnë, por të mos kuptojnë, se mos pendohen dhe mëkatet u falen".”

They see, but do not know what it means. They hear, but do not understand. If they did, they might turn to God and have their sins forgiven.” Jesus Tells about the Man Who Planted the Seed

13 P astaj u tha atyre: “Nuk e kuptoni këtë shëmbëlltyrë? Po atëhere si do t’i kuptoni të gjitha shëmbëlltyrat e tjera?

Jesus said to them, “Do you not understand this picture-story? Then how will you understand any of the picture-stories?

14 M bjellësi mbjell fjalën.

What the man plants is the Word of God.

15 A ta gjatë rrugës janë ata në të cilët mbillet fjala; por pasi e kanë dëgjuar atë, vjen menjëherë Satanai dhe ua heq fjalën e mbjellë në zemrat e tyre.

Those by the side of the road are the ones who hear the Word. As soon as they hear it, the devil comes and takes away the Word that is planted in their hearts.

16 P o ashtu ata që e marrin farën mbi nje gurishte janë ata që, kur e kanë dëgjuar fjalën, e pranojnë menjëherë me gëzim;

The seed that fell among rocks is like people who receive the Word with joy when they hear it.

17 p or nuk kanë rrënjë në vetvete, dhe janë të përkohshëm; dhe kur vjen mundimi ose përndjekja për shkak të fjalës, skandalizohen menjëherë.

Their roots are not deep so they live only a short time. When sorrow and trouble come because of the Word, they give up and fall away.

18 A ta përkundrazi të cilët e marrin farën midis ferrave, janë ata që e dëgjojnë fjalën,

The seed that was planted among thorns is like some people who listen to the Word.

19 p or shqetësimet e kësaj bote, mashtrimet e pasurisë dhe lakmitë për gjëra të tjera që hynë, e mbyten fjalën dhe ajo bëhet e pafrytshme.

But the cares of this life let thorns come up. A love for riches and always wanting other things let thorns grow. These things do not give the Word room to grow so it does not give grain.

20 K urse ata që e morën farën në tokë të mirë, janë ata që e dëgjojnë fjalën, e pranojnë dhe japin fryt: një tridhjetë, tjetri gjashtëdhjetë dhe tjetri njëqind.”

The seed that fell on good ground is like people who hear the Word and understand it. They give much grain. Some give thirty times as much grain. Some give sixty times as much grain. Some give one hundred times as much grain.” The Picture-Story of the Lamp

21 P astaj u tha atyre: “A merret vallë llamba për ta vënë nën babunë ose nën shtrat? A nuk vihet mbi dritëmbajtësen?

He said to them, “Is a lamp to be put under a pail or under a bed? Should it not be put on a lamp-stand?

22 S epse nuk ka asgjë të fshehtë që të mos zbulohet, as kurrgjë sekrete që të mos dalin në dritë.

Everything that is hidden will be brought into the light. Everything that is a secret will be made known.

23 K ush ka veshë për të dëgjuar, le të dëgjojë!”

You have ears, then listen!”

24 D he u tha atyre: “Vini re atë që dëgjoni. Me atë masë që ju matni, do t’iu matet juve; edhe juve që dëgjoni do t’iu jepet edhe më.

Jesus said to them, “Be careful what you listen to. The same amount you give will be given to you, and even more.

25 S epse atij që ka, do t’i jepet, por atij që s’ka, do t’i merret edhe ajo që ka.

He who has, to him will be given. To him who does not have, even the little he has will be taken from him.” The Picture-Story of the Grain

26 T ha akoma: “Mbretëria e Perëndisë është si një njeri që hedh farën në dhe.

He said, “The holy nation of God is like a man who plants seed in the ground.

27 D he natën dhe ditën, ndërsa ai fle dhe çohet, fara mbin dhe rritet, pa e ditur ai se si.

He goes to sleep every night and gets up every day. The seed grows, but he does not know how.

28 S epse dheu prodhon vetvetiu më parë kërcellin, pastaj kallirin, dhe më në fund kallirin plot me kokrra.

The earth gives fruit by itself. The leaf comes first and then the young grain can be seen. And last, the grain is ready to gather.

29 D he kur fryti piqet, menjëherë korrësi i vë drapërin, sepse erdhi koha e korrjes.

As soon as the grain is ready, he cuts it. The time of gathering the grain has come.” The Picture-Story of the Mustard Seed

30 E dhe tha: Me se ta krahasojmë mbretërinë e Perëndisë? Ose me çfarë shëmbëlltyre ta paraqesim?

Jesus said, “In what way can we show what the holy nation of God is like? Or what picture-story can we use to help you understand?

31 A jo i ngjan farës së sinapit, që, kur është mbjellë në dhe, është më e vogla nga të gjitha farërat që janë mbi dhe;

It is like a grain of mustard seed that is planted in the ground. It is the smallest of all seeds.

32 p or, pasi mbillet, rritet dhe bëhet më e madhe se të gjitha barishtet; dhe lëshon degë aq të mëdha, sa zogjtë e qiellit mund të gjejnë strehë nën hijen e saj.”

After it is put in the ground, it grows and becomes the largest of the spices. It puts out long branches so birds of the sky can live in it.”

33 D he me shumë shëmbëlltyra të tilla, u shpallte atyre fjalën, ashtu si ata ishin në gjendje ta kuptojnë.

As they were able to understand, He spoke the Word to them by using many picture-stories.

34 D he nuk u fliste atyre pa shëmbëlltyra, ndërsa dishepujve të tij, veçmas, u shpjegonte çdo gjë.

Jesus helped His followers understand everything when He was alone with them. The Wind and Waves Obey Jesus

35 T ani po atë ditë, si u ngrys, u tha atyre: “Kalojmë te bregu matanë!

It was evening of that same day. Jesus said to them, “Let us go over to the other side.”

36 D he dishepujt, si e nisën popullin, e morrën me vete Jezusin, ashtu si ishte, në barkë. Me të ishin edhe disa barka të tjera të vogla.

After sending the people away, they took Jesus with them in a boat. It was the same boat He used when He taught them. Other little boats went along with them.

37 N dërkaq shpërtheu një furtunë e madhe dhe valët përplaseshin mbi barkë aq shumë sa ajo po mbushej.

A bad wind storm came up. The waves were coming over the side of the boat. It was filling up with water.

38 A i ndërkaq po flinte në kiç mbi një jastëk. Ata e zgjuan dhe i thanë: “Mësues, a nuk merakosesh që ne po marrim fund?.”

Jesus was in the back part of the boat sleeping on a pillow. They woke Him up, crying out, “Teacher, do You not care that we are about to die?”

39 D he ai si u zgjua, e qortoi erën dhe i foli detit: “Pusho dhe fashitu!.” Dhe era pushoi dhe u bë qetësi e madhe.

He got up and spoke sharp words to the wind. He said to the sea, “Be quiet! Be still.” At once the wind stopped blowing. There were no more waves.

40 A tëherë u tha atyre: “Pse jeni ju aq frikacakë? Vallë, si nuk keni besim?.”

He said to His followers, “Why are you so full of fear? Do you not have faith?”

41 D he ata i zuri një frikë e madhe dhe i thoshnin njëritjetrit: “Vallë, kush është ky, që po i binden edhe era edhe deti?.”

They were very much afraid and said to each other, “Who is this? Even the wind and waves obey Him!”
