1 A tëherë Jezusi u tha dishepujve të vet: “Éshtë e pamundur që të mos ndodhin skandale; por mjerë ai për faj të të cilit vijnë!

Jesus said to His followers, “For sure, things will come that will make people sin. But it is bad for the person who makes someone else sin.

2 P ër të do të ishte më mirë t’i varnin në qafë një gur mulliri dhe ta hidhnin në det, se sa të skandalizojë një të vetëm nga këta të vegjël.

It would be better for him to have a large rock put around his neck and be thrown into the sea, than that he should cause one of these little ones to sin.

3 K ini kujdes veten tuaj! Në se yt vëlla mëkaton kundër teje, qortoje; dhe në se pendohet, fale.

“Watch yourselves! If your brother sins, speak sharp words to him. If he is sorry and turns from his sin, forgive him.

4 E dhe sikur të mëkatonte shtatë herë në ditë kundër teje, dhe shtatë herë në ditë do të kthehet te ti duke thënë: "Pendohem," fale.”

What if he sins against you seven times in one day? If he comes to you and says he is sorry and turns from his sin, forgive him.”

5 A tëherë apostujt i thanë Zotit: “Na e shto besimin.”

The followers said to the Lord, “Give us more faith.”

6 D he Zoti tha: “Po të kishit besim sa një kokërr sinapi, do të mund t’i thonit këtij mani: "Shkulu me gjithë rrënjë dhe mbillu në det," dhe ai do t’ju bindej.

The Lord said, “If your faith was as a mustard seed, you could say to this tree, ‘Be pulled out of the ground and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you. Jesus Teaches about Being Faithful

7 T ani cili nga ju, po të ketë një shërbëtor që i lëron tokën ose i kullot kopenë, do t’i thotë kur ai kthehet nga fusha në shtëpi: "Eja menjëherë në tryezë"?

“What if you owned a servant who was working in the field or taking care of sheep? Would you say to him when he came in from his work, ‘Come and sit down to eat?’

8 A nuk do t’i thotë përkundrazi: "Ma bëj gati darkën, përvishu e më shërbe që unë të ha e të pi e pastaj të hash dhe të pish edhe ti"?

No, instead you would say, ‘Get my supper ready. Dress yourself and care for me until I am through eating and drinking. Then you can eat and drink.’

9 D o ta falënderojë ndoshta atë shërbëtor sepse i zbatoi ato që i ishin urdhëruar? Mendoj se jo.

Does the servant get thanks for doing what he was told to do? I am sure he does not.

10 K ështu edhe ju, kur të keni bërë të gjitha ato që ju urdhërohen, thoni: Jemi shërbëtorë të padobishëm. Bëmë atë që kishim detyrë të bënimm".”

It is the same with you also. When you do everything you have been told to do, you must say, ‘We are not any special servants. We have done only what we should have done.’” Jesus Heals Ten Men with a Bad Skin Disease

11 D he ndodhi që duke udhëtuar për në Jeruzalem, ai kaloi nëpër Samari dhe Galile.

Jesus went on His way to Jerusalem. He was passing between the countries of Samaria and Galilee.

12 D he, kur po hynte në një fshat, i dolën para dhjetë lebrozë, të cilët ndaluan larg,

As He was going into one of the towns, ten men with a bad skin disease came to Him. They stood a little way off.

13 d he duke ngritur zërin, thanë: “Mjeshtër, Jezus, ki mëshirë për ne.”

They called to Him, “Jesus! Teacher! Take pity on us!”

14 D he ai, si i pa, u tha atyre: “Shkoni e paraqituni te priftërinjtë.” Dhe ndodhi që, ndërsa ata po shkonin, u pastruan.

When Jesus saw them, He said, “Go and show yourselves to the religious leaders.” As they went, they were healed.

15 D he një nga ata, si e pa se u shërua, u kthye mbrapa dhe përlëvdonte Perëndinë me zë të lartë.

One of them turned back when he saw he was healed. He thanked God with a loud voice.

16 D he ra përmbys me fytyrë përtokë te këmbët e Jezusit, duke e falënderuar. Ky ishte Samaritan.

He got down on his face at the feet of Jesus and thanked Him. He was from the country of Samaria.

17 J ezusi atëherë filloi të thotë: “A nuk u shëruan që të dhjetë? Ku janë nëntë të tjerët?

Jesus asked, “Were there not ten men who were healed? Where are the other nine?

18 A nuk gjet asnjë që të kthehet për të dhënë lavdi Perëndisë, përveç këtij të huaji?.”

Is this stranger from another country the only one who turned back to give thanks to God?”

19 D he i tha atij: “Çohu dhe shko; besimi yt të shëroi.”

Then Jesus said to him, “Get up and go on your way. Your trust in God has healed you.” Jesus Teaches about the Holy Nation of God

20 T ani kur u pyet nga farisenjtë se kur do të vinte mbretëria e Perëndisë, ai u përgjigj atyre dhe tha: “Mbretëria e Perëndisë nuk vjen në mënyrë të dukshme;

The proud religious law-keepers asked when the holy nation of God would come. Jesus said to them, “The holy nation of God is not coming in such a way that can be seen with the eyes.

21 d he as nuk do të mund të thuhet: "Ja, këtu," ose: "Ja, atje"; sepse ja, mbretëria e Perëndisë është përbrenda jush.”

It will not be said, ‘See, here it is!’ or, ‘There it is!’ For the holy nation of God is in you.” Jesus Tells of His Second Coming

22 P astaj u tha dishepujve të vet: “Do të vijnë ditë kur ju do të dëshironi të shihni një nga ditët e Birit të njeriut, por nuk do ta shihni.

Jesus said to His followers, “The time will come when you will wish you could see the Son of Man for one day. But you will not be able to.

23 D he do t’ju thonë: "Ja, është këtu" ose: "Ja, është atje," por ju mos shkoni dhe mos i ndiqni.

They will say to you, ‘He is here,’ or, ‘He is there,’ but do not follow them.

24 S epse ashtu si rrufeja, që vetëtin nga njëri skaj i qiellit te tjetri e ndriçon, kështu do të jetë edhe Biri i njeriut në ditën e tij.

When the Son of Man comes, He will be as lightning that shines from one part of the sky to the other.

25 P or më parë i duhet të vuajë shumë dhe të hidhet poshtë nga ky brez.

But before that, He must suffer many hard things. The people of this day will have nothing to do with Him.

26 D he, ashtu siç ndodhi në kohën e Noes, ashtu do të ndodhë edhe në ditët e Birit të njeriut.

“As it was in the time of Noah, so will it be when the Son of Man comes back.

27 N jerëzit hanin, pinin, martonin dhe martoheshin, deri ditën kur Noeu hyri në arkë; dhe erdhi përmbytja dhe i zhduku të gjithë.

People ate and drank. They married and were given in marriage. They did these things until the day Noah went into the large boat. Then the flood came and killed all the people on earth.

28 P o kështu ndodhi në kohën e Lotit: njerëzit hanin, pinin, blinin, shitnin, mbillnin dhe ndërtonin;

It was the same in the time of Lot. People ate and drank. They bought and sold. They planted and built.

29 p or ditën kur Loti doli nga Sodoma, ra shi zjarri e squfuri nga qielli dhe i zhduku të gjithë.

But the day Lot left the city of Sodom, fire and sulphur came down from heaven like rain. It killed all the people of Sodom.

30 K ështu do të jetë edhe atë ditë kur Biri i njeriut do të shfaqet.

“It will be the same on the day when the Son of Man comes again.

31 N ë atë ditë, ai që ndodhet mbi çatinë e shtëpisë të mos zbresë në shtëpi për të marrë gjërat e tij; e po kështu ai që ndodhet në ara, të mos kthehet prapa.

In that day the man who is on top of a house should not come down to take his things out of the house. In the same way, the man who is in the field should not go back to his house.

32 K ujtoni gruan e Lotit.

Remember Lot’s wife!

33 A i që do të kërkojë të shpëtojë jetën e vet, do ta humbasë; por ai që do ta humbasë, do ta shpëtojë.

“He who wants to keep his life will have it taken away from him. He who loses his life will have it given back to him.

34 U në po ju them: atë natë dy veta do të jenë në një shtrat; njëri do të merret dhe tjetri do të lihet.

I tell you, on that night there will be two men in the same bed. One of them will be taken. The other will be left.

35 D y gra do të bluajnë bashkë; njëra do të merret e tjetra do të lihet.

Two women will be grinding grain together. One of them will be taken. The other will be left.

36 D y burra do të jenë në ara: njëri do të merret e tjetri do të lihet.”

Two men will be working in a field. One will be taken. The other will be left.”

37 A tëherë dishepujt u përgjigjën dhe thanë: “Ku, o Zot?” Dhe ai u tha atyre: “Ku të jetë trupi, atje do të mblidhen shqiponjat.”

Then they asked Jesus, “Where will this happen?” He said to them, “Birds also gather where there is a dead body.”
