1 D ëgjo, o bari i Izraelit, që udhëheq Jozefin si një kope; ti që rrin mbi Kerubinët, shkëlqe në lavdinë tënde.

Hear us, O Shepherd of Israel, You Who lead Joseph like a flock! You Who sit on Your throne above the angels, let Your light shine!

2 R izgjoje fuqinë tënde përpara Efraimit, Beniaminit dhe Manasit, dhe eja të na çlirosh.

Stir up Your power in front of Ephraim and Benjamin and Manassah, and come to save us!

3 O Perëndi, na përtëri fuqitë, bëje fytyrën tënde të shkëlqejë dhe ne do të shpëtojmë.

O God, bring us back to You. Make Your face shine upon us, that we may be saved.

4 O Zot, Perëndi i ushtrive, deri kur do të jesh i zemëruar kundër lutjes së popullit tënd?

O Lord God of all, how long will You be angry with the prayers of Your people?

5 T i u ke dhënë për të ngrënë bukë të njomur me lot, dhe u ke dhënë për të pirë lot me shumicë.

You have fed them with the bread of tears. And You have made them drink a big amount of tears.

6 T i na ke bërë objekt mosmarëveshjeje për fqinjët tanë, dhe armiqtë tanë qeshin njeri me tjetrin.

You have made us an object of arguing to our neighbors. Those who hate us laugh among themselves.

7 O Perëndi i ushtrive, na përtëri forcat tona; bëje fytyrën tënde të shkëlqejë përsëri dhe do të shpëtojmë.

O God of all, bring us back to You. Make Your face shine upon us, and we will be saved.

8 T i çove jashtë Egjiptit një hardhi; i dëbove kombet dhe e mbolle.

You brought a vine out of Egypt. You drove out the nations, and You planted it.

9 T i e pastrove dheun para saj dhe ajo lëshoi rrënjë dhe e mbushi dheun.

You cleared the land for it. And its roots went deep and filled the land.

10 M alet u mbuluan nga hija e saj dhe kedrat e Perëndisë me degët e saj.

The mountains were covered with its shadow. And the tall trees were covered with its branches.

11 I zgjati degët e saj deri në det dhe llastarët deri te lumi.

It sent out its branches to the sea, and its new branches to the River.

12 P se i prishe gjerdhet e saj dhe kështu tërë kalimtarët kanë mundësi të korrin frytet e saj?

Why have You broken down its walls so that all who pass by pick its fruit?

13 D erri i egër i pyllit e shkreton dhe egërsirat e fushës kullotin aty.

The wild pig from among the trees eats it away. And whatever moves in the field eats from it.

14 O Perëndi i ushtrive, të lutemi kthehu; shiko nga qielli, vështro dhe vizito këtë vresht

O God of all, we beg You to return. Look down from heaven and see. Take care of this vine.

15 d he drurët që mbolli e djathta jote dhe filizin që e ke forcuar për ty.

Take care of the root Your right hand has planted, and the branch that You have raised up for Yourself.

16 A jo u dogj nga zjarri dhe është prerë; ata vdesin para kërcënimit të fytyrës sate.

They have burned it with fire. It is cut down. May they be lost when they hear Your strong words.

17 D ora jote qoftë mbi njeriun e të djathtë tënde, mbi njeriun që ti e ke bërë të fortë për ty.

Let Your hand be upon the man of Your right hand, the son of man you have made strong for Yourself.

18 K ështu ne nuk do të largohemi më prej teje. Na ngjall dhe ne do të kërkojmë emrin tënd.

Then we will not turn away from You. Give us new life again, and we will call on Your name.

19 O Zot, Perëndia i ushtrive, na përtëri; bëje fytyrën tënde të shkëlqejë dhe do të shpëtojmë.

O Lord God of all, bring us back to You. Make Your face shine upon us, and we will be saved.
