1 O Perëndi, mos rri në heshtje! Mos mbyll gojën, mos rri i qetë, o Perëndi!

O God, do not keep quiet. Do not be quiet, O God, and do not hold Your peace.

2 S epse, ja, armiqtë e tu po ziejnë dhe ata që të urrejnë ngrenë kokën.

For, look, those who hate You are making much noise. Those who fight against You have honored themselves.

3 T hurrin gracka kundër popullit tënd dhe bëjnë komplote kundër atyre që ti mbron.

They make bad plans against Your people. They plan against those You care for.

4 A ta thonë: "Ejani t’i shkatërrojmë si komb, emri i Izraelit të mos kujtohet më".

They say, “Come, let us destroy them as a nation. Let the name of Israel be remembered no longer.”

5 S epse kanë komplotuar së bashku me një mendje dhe kanë lidhur një besëlidhje kundër teje.

For they plan together with one mind. They make an agreement against You:

6 Ç adrat e Edomit dhe Ismaelitët, Moabi dhe Hagarenët,

The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites; Moab and the Hagarites;

7 G ebali, Amoni dhe Amaleku, Filistia me banorët e Tiros;

Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; Philistia with those who live in Tyre;

8 d he Asiria është bashkuar me ta për të ndihmuar bijtë e Lotit. (Sela)

Assyria has joined them also. They help the children of Lot.

9 V epro me ta ashtu si bëre me Madianin, me Siseran dhe me Jabinin pranë përroit të Kishonit,

Do to them as You did to Midian, and to Sisera and Jabin at the river of Kishon.

10 t ë cilët u shkatërruan në Endor dhe u bënë si pleh për tokën.

They were destroyed at Endor. They were spread over the field.

11 B ëj që krerët e tyre të jenë si Orebi dhe Zeebi, dhe tërë princat e tyre si Zebahu dhe Tsalmuna,

Make their respected men like Oreb and Zeeb. Make their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,

12 s epse ata thanë: "Të shtiem në dorë kullotat e Perëndisë".

who said, “Let us take for ourselves the fields of God.”

13 O Perëndia im, bëji njëlloj si pluhuri i vorbullës, si kashta në mëshirë të erës.

O my God, make them like dust turning in the wind, like parts of the grass that have no worth and are blown away.

14 A shtu si zjarri djeg pyllin dhe flaka gllabëron malet,

As the fire that burns up the trees and spreads over the mountains,

15 k ështu ndiqi me furtunën tënde dhe trëmbi me uraganin tënd.

so go behind them with Your storm. Make them afraid with Your storm.

16 M bulo fytyrat e tyre me turp, me qëllim që të kërkojnë emrin tënd, o Zot.

Fill their faces with shame, so they will look to Your name, O Lord.

17 U turpërofshin dhe u tmerrofshin përjetë, u ngatërrofshin dhe vdekshin;

Let them be ashamed and afraid forever. Let them be put to shame and lost.

18 d he ta dijnë se ti vetëm, që quhesh Zoti, je Shumë i Larti mbi gjithë dheun.

Then they may know that You alone, Whose name is the Lord, are the Most High over all the earth.
