1 U kujto atyre që t’u nënshtrohen pushtetarëve dhe autoriteteve, të jenë të bindur, gati për çdo vepër të mirë,

Teach your people to obey the leaders of their country. They should be ready to do any good work.

2 t ë mos flasin keq për asnjeri, të jenë paqësorë dhe të butë, duke treguar mirësjellje të madhe kundrejt të gjithë njerëzve.

They must not speak bad of anyone, and they must not argue. They should be gentle and kind to all people. God Saved Us from All These Things

3 S epse edhe ne dikur ishim të pamendë, rebelë, endacakë, robër të lakmive të ndryshme dhe të qejfeve, duke jetuar në ligësi dhe në smirë, të urryer dhe duke e urryer njeri tjetrin.

6 t ë cilën e derdhi me mbushëlli mbi ne, me anë të Jezu Krishtit, shpëtimtarit tonë,

God gave the Holy Spirit to fill our lives through Jesus Christ, the One Who saves.

7 q ë ne, të shfajësuar me anë të hirit të tij, të bëhemi trashëgimtarë të jetës së përjetshme, sipas shpresës që kemi.

Because of this, we are made right with God by His loving-favor. Now we can have life that lasts forever as He has promised.

8 K jo fjalë është e sigurt, dhe dua që ti të pohosh me forcë këto gjëra, që ata që kanë besuar në Perëndinë të kujdesen për të kryer vepra të mira. Këto gjëra janë të mira dhe të dobishme për njerëzit.

What I have told you is true. Teach these things all the time so those who have put their trust in God will be careful to do good things. These things are good and will help all men.

9 P or ti shmangu nga diskutimet e ma-rra, nga gjenealogjitë, nga grindjet dhe debatet rreth ligjit, sepse janë të padobishme dhe të kota.

10 S hmangu nga njeriu sektar, mbasi ta kesh qortuar një herë e dy herë,
