1 Z oti i foli akoma Moisiut, duke i thënë:

Then the Lord said to Moses,

2 " Urdhëro bijtë e Izraelit dhe u thuaj atyre: Kur do të hyni në vendin e Kanaanit, ky është vendi që ju takon si trashëgimi, vendi i Kanaanit me këta kufij të veçantë:

“Tell the people of Israel, ‘When you go into the land of Canaan, this is the land that will be given to you, all the land of Canaan.

3 K ufiri juaj jugor do të fillojë në shkretëtirën e Tsinit, gjatë kufirit të Edomit; kështu kufiri juaj do të shtrihet nga skaji i Detit të Kripur në drejtim të lindjes;

Your south side will be from the Desert of Zin along the side of Edom. It will go east from the end of the Salt Sea.

4 k ufiri juaj do të shkojë pastaj nga e përpjeta e Akrabimit, do të kalojë nëpër Tsin dhe do të shtrihet në jug të Kadesh-Barneas; do të vazhdojë pastaj në drejtim të Hatsar-Adarit dhe do të kalojë nëpër Atsmoni.

Then the side of your land will turn from the south up to the pass of Akrabbim and on to Zin. Its end will be south of Kadesh-barnea. It will go to Hazaraddar and on to Azmon.

5 N ga Atsmoni kufiri do të kthejë deri në përroin e Egjiptit dhe do të përfundojë në det.

Then it will turn from Azmon to the river of Egypt, and will end at the sea.

6 K ufiri juaj në perëndim do të jetë Deti i Madh; ky do të jetë kufiri juaj perëndimor.

‘The west side of your land will be the shore of the Great Sea.

7 K y do të jetë kufiri juaj verior: duke u nisur nga Deti i Madh do të caktoni kufirin tuaj deri në malin Hor;

‘Your north side will be from the Great Sea to Mount Hor.

8 n ga mali Hor do të caktoni kufirin tuaj deri në hyrje të Hamathit, dhe skaji i kufirit do të jetë në Tsedad;

And it will go from Mount Hor to the Lebohamath, and end at Zedad.

9 k ufiri do të vazhdojë pastaj deri në Zifron dhe do të mbarojë në Hatsar-Enan; ky do të jetë kufiri juaj verior.

Then it will go to Ziphron and end at Hazer-enan. This will be the north side.

10 D o ta vijëzoni kufirin tuaj lindor nga Hatsar-Enani deri në Shefam;

‘The east side of your land will be from Hazer-enan to Shepham,

11 k ufiri do të zbresë nga Shefami në drejtim të Riblahut, në lindje të Ainit; pastaj kufiri do të zbresë dhe do të shtrihet deri sa të arrijë bregun lindor të detit të Kinerethit;

then down from Shepham to Riblah on the east side of Ain. Then it will go down to the hill on the east side of the Sea of Chinnereth.

12 p astaj kufiri do të zbresë në drejtim të Jordanit, për të arritur deri në Detin e Kripur. Ky do të jetë vendi juaj me kufijtë e tij rreth e qark".

It will go down to the Jordan and end at the Salt Sea. This will be the sides all around your land.’”

13 K ështu Moisiu u njoftoi këtë urdhër bijve të Izraelit dhe u tha atyre: Ky është vendi që do të merrni si trashëgimi duke hedhur short, dhe që Zotii ka urdhëruar t’u jepet nëntë fiseve e gjysmë,

Moses told the people of Israel, “This is the land you will receive by drawing names, which the Lord has said should be given to the nine and a half-family groups.

14 s epse fisi i bijve të Rubenit, në bazë të shtëpive të etërve të tyre, dhe fisi i bijve të Gadit, në bazë të shtëpive të etërve të tyre, dhe gjysma e fisit të Manasit e kanë marrë trashëgiminë e tyre.

For the sons of Reuben have received their land by their fathers’ houses. The sons of Gad have received theirs by their fathers’ houses. And the half-family group of Manasseh has received their land.

15 K ëto dy fise e gjysmë e kanë marrë trashëgiminë e tyre në lindje të Jordanit, mbi bregun përballë Jerikos, në drejtim të lindjes".

The two and a half-family groups have received their land on the other side of the Jordan from Jericho, toward the east.”

16 Z oti i foli akoma Moisiut, duke i thënë:

The Lord said to Moses,

17 " Këta janë emrat e burrave që do të kryejnë ndarjen e vendit midis jush: prifti Eleazar dhe Jozueu, bir i Nunit.

“Eleazar the religious leader and Joshua the son of Nun are the men who will divide the land to be given to you.

18 D o të merrni edhe një prijës nga çdo fis, për të bërë ndarjen e vendit.

And take one leader of every family group to divide the land among you.

19 K ëta janë emrat e burrave: Kalebi, bir i Jefunehut, nga fisi i Judës;

These are the names of the men. Take Caleb the son of Jephunneh of the family group of Judah.

20 S hemueli, bir i Amihudit, nga fisi i bijve të Simeonit;

Take Samuel the son of Ammihud of the family group of the sons of Simeon.

21 E lidadi, bir i Kislonit, nga fisi i Beniaminit;

Take Elidad the son of Chislon of the family group of Benjamin.

22 p rijësi Buki, bir i Joglit, nga fisi i bijve të Danit;

Take Bukki the son of Jogli as the leader of the family group of the sons of Dan.

23 p rijësi Haniel, bir i Efodit, për bijtë e Jozefit, nga fisi i bijve të Manasit;

Of the sons of Joseph, take Hanniel the son of Ephod as the leader of the family group of the sons of Manasseh.

24 p rijësi Kemuel, bir i Shiftanit, për fisin e bijve të Efraimit;

Take Kemuel the son of Shiphtan as the leader of the family group of the sons of Ephraim.

25 p rijësi Elitsafan, bir i Parnakut, për fisin e bijve të Zabulonit;

Take Elizaphan the son of Parnach as the leader of the family group of the sons of Zebulun.

26 p rijësi Paltiel, bir i Azanit, për fisin e bijve të Isakarit;

Take Paltiel the son of Azzan as the leader of the family group of the sons of Issachar.

27 p rijësi Ahihud, bir i Shelomit, për fisin e bijve të Asherit;

Take Ahihud the son of Shelomi as the leader of the family group of the sons of Asher.

28 d he prijësi Pedahel, bir i Amihudit, për fisin e bijve të Neftalit".

And take Pedahel the son of Ammihud as the leader of the family group of the sons of Naphtali.”

29 K ëta janë burrat të cilët Zoti i urdhëroi t’u jepnin trashëgiminë bijve të Izraelit në vendin e Kananit.

These are the men whom the Lord told to divide the land among the people of Israel in the land of Canaan.
