3 B ijtë e Senaahut ndërtuan portën e Peshqve, bënë kasën dhe vunë kanatet e saj, bravat dhe shufrat.

The sons of Hassenaah built the Fish Gate. They laid the long wood pieces that hold up the gate and hung its doors with its iron pieces.

4 P ranë tyre punonte për riparimet Meremothi, bir i Urias, që ishte bir i Kotsit; pranë tyre për riparimet punonte Meshullami, bir i Berekiahut, që ishte bir i Meshezabeelit; pranë tyre punonte për riparimet Tsadoku, bir i Baanas;

Next to them Meremoth the son of Uriah, son of Hakkoz, did the needed work. Next to him Meshullam the son of Berechiah, son of Meshezabel, did the needed work. And next to him Zadok the son of Baana did the needed work.

5 p ranë tyre për riparimet punonin Tekoitët; por fisnikët midis tyre nuk e ulën qafën për të bërë punën e Zotit të tyre.

Next to him the Tekoites did the needed work, but their rulers would not do the work they were told to do by their lords.

6 J ehojada, bir i Paseahut, dhe Meshulami, bir i Besodejahut, restauruan portën e Vjetër; bënë kasën dhe vunë kanatet e saj, bravat dhe shufrat.

Joiada the son of Paseah and Meshullam the son of Besodeiah did the needed work on the Old Gate. They laid its long wood pieces and hung its doors with its iron pieces.

7 P ranë tyre punonin për riparimin e selisë së qeveritarit të krahinës matanë Lumit Melatiahu, Gabaoniti, Jadoni Meronithiti dhe njerëzit e Gabaonit dhe të Mitspahut.

Next to them Melatiah the Gibeonite and Jadon the Meronothite did the needed work. They were the men of Gibeon and Mizpah, who were under the rule of the leader of the land on the other side of the River.

8 P ranë tyre punonte për riparimet Uzieli, bir i Harhajahut, një ndër argjendarët; pranë tij punonte për riparimet Hananiahu, një nga parfumierët. Ata e përforcuan Jeruzalemin deri në Murin e Gjerë.

Next to them Uzziel the son of Harhaiah, who worked with gold, did the needed work. Next to him Hananiah, one of the men who made perfume, did the needed work. They made Jerusalem like new as far as the Wide Wall.

Next to them Rephaiah the son of Hur, the leader of half of Jerusalem, did the needed work.

10 P ranë tyre punonte për riparimet, përballë shtëpisë së tij, Jedajahu, bir i Harumafit; pranë tij punonin për riparimet Hatushi, bir i Hashabnejahut.

Next to them Jedaiah the son of Harumaph did the needed work beside his house. And next to him Hattush the son of Hashabneiah did the needed work.

11 M alkijahu, bir i Harimit, dhe Hashshubi, bir i Pahath-Moabit, ndreqën një pjesë tjetër të mureve dhe kullën e Furrave.

Malchijah the son of Harim and Hasshub the son of Pahath-moab did the needed work on another part and on the Tower of the Stoves.

Next to him Shallum the son of Hallohesh, the leader of half of Jerusalem, did the needed work, he and his daughters.

13 H anuni dhe banorët e Zanoahit ndreqën portën e Luginës; e ndërtuan dhe i vunë kanatet, bravat dhe shufrat. Përveç kësaj ndreqën një mijë kubitë muri deri në portën e Plehut.

Hanun and the people of Zanoah did the needed work on the Valley Gate. They built it and hung its doors with its iron pieces. And they built the wall to the Waste Gate, as far as 500 long steps.

14 M alkijahu, bir i Rekabit, kryetar i rrethit të Beth-Hakeremit, ndreqi portën e Plehut; e ndërtoi, dhe i vuri kanatet, bravat dhe shufrat.

Malchijah the son of Rechab, the leader of Beth-haccherem did the needed work on the Waste Gate. He built it and hung its doors with its iron pieces.

15 S halumi, bir i Kol-Hezeut, kryetar i rrethit të Mitspahut, ndreqi portën e Burimit; e ndërtoi, e mbuloi dhe i vuri kanatet, bravat dhe shufrat. Ndreqi gjithashtu murin e pishinës të Siloes, pranë kopshtit të mbretit, deri në shkallëzat që zbresin nga qyteti i Davidit.

Shallum the son of Col-hozeh, the leader of Mizpah, did the needed work on the Well Gate. He built it, covered it, and hung its doors with its iron pieces. And he built the wall of the Pool of Shelah at the King’s Garden as far as the steps that go down from the City of David.

16 P as tij Nehemia, bir i Azbukut, kryetar i gjysmës së rrethit të Beth-Zurit, punoi për riparimet deri përpara varreve të Davidit, deri te pishina artificiale dhe deri te shtëpia e Trimave.

After him Nehemiah the son of Azbuk, leader of half of Beth-zur, did the needed work as far as David’s grave, and as far as the Man-made Pool and the House of the Powerful Men. Levites Who Worked on the Wall

17 P as tij punuan për riparimet Levitët, nën drejtimin e Rehumit, birit të Banit; pranë tij punonte për riparimet për rrethin e tij Hashabia, kryetar i gjysmës së rrethit të Keilahut.

After him the Levites did the needed work, led by Rehum the son of Bani. Next to him Hashabiah, the leader of half of Keilah, did the needed work for his part of the city.

18 P as tij punuan për riparimet vëllezërit e tyre, nën mbikëqyrjen e Bavait, birit të Henadat, kryetar i gjysmës tjetër të rrethit të Keilahut.

After him their brothers did the needed work, led by Bavvai the son of Henadad, leader of the other half of Keilah.

19 P ranë tij Ezeri, bir i Jeshuas, kryetar i Mitspahut, ndreqi një pjesë tjetër të mureve, përballë të përpjetës së arsenalit, në qoshe.

Next to him Ezer the son of Jeshua, the leader of Mizpah, did the needed work on another part, in front of the hill up to the place where the things for battle were kept at the turn of the wall.

20 M bas tij Baruku, bir i Zabait, riparoi me zell të madh një pjesë tjetër të mureve, nga qoshja deri te porta e shtëpisë së Eliashibit, kryepriftit.

After him Baruch the son of Zabbai did the needed work with much care on another part, from the turn of the wall to the door of the house of Eliashib the head religious leader.

21 M bas tij Meremothi, bir i Urias, që ishte bir i Kotsit, ndreqi një pjesë tjetër të mureve, nga porta e shtëpisë së Eliashibit deri në skajin e shtëpisë së Eliashibit.

23 M bas tyre Beniamini dhe Hashubi punuan për riparimet përballë shtëpisë së tyre. Mbas tyre Azaria, bir i Maasejahut, që ishte bir i Ananiahut, punoi për riparimet afër shtëpisë së tij.

After them Benjamin and Hasshub did the needed work in front of their house. After them Azariah the son of Maaseiah, son of Ananiah, did the needed work beside his house.

24 M bas tij Binui, bir i Henadadit, ndreqi një pjesë tjetër të mureve, nga shtëpia e Azarias deri në kthesë, domethënë në qoshe.

After him Binnui the son of Henadad did the needed work on another part, from the house of Azariah as far as the turn of the wall, and to the corner.

25 P alali, bir i Uzait, bëri riparime përballë kthesës dhe kullës që spikat nga shtëpia e epërme e mbretit, që ishte pranë oborrit të burgut. Mbas tij bëri riparime Pedajahu, bir i Paroshit.

26 N ethinejtë, që banonin mbi Ofelin, bënë riparime deri përpara portës së Ujërave, në drejtim të lindjes, dhe përballë kullës që spikaste.

and the servants of the house of worship living in Ophel did the needed work as far as the front of the Water Gate on the east and the tall tower.

After him the Tekoites did the needed work on another part in front of the tall tower and as far as the wall of Ophel.

After him Malchijah, one of the men who worked with gold, did the needed work as far as the house of the servants of the Lord’s house and of the traders. He worked in front of the Master Gate and as far as the upper room of the corner.

The gold-workers and the traders did the needed work between the upper room of the corner and the Sheep Gate.
