David and the captains of the army set apart for the work some of the sons of Asaph, of Heman and of Jeduthun. They were to speak God’s Word while harps and timbrels were playing. These are the names of those who served in this way.

2 n ga bijtë e Asafit: Zakuri, Josefi, Nethaniahu, Asarelahu, bijtë e Asafit ishin nën drejtimin e Asafit, që i këndonte himnet me frymëzim në bazë të urdhrave të mbretit.

The sons of Asaph were: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah and Asharelah. They were led by Asaph, who spoke for God under the leading of the king.

3 N ga Jeduthuni, bijtë e Jeduthunit: Gedaliahu, Tseri, Jeshajahu, Shimei, Hashabiahu dhe Matihiahu, gjashtë, nën drejtimin e atit të tyre Jezuduthun, që këndonte himne me frymëzim për të kremtuar dhe lëvduar Zotin.

The six sons of Jeduthun were: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah and Mattithiah. They were led by their father Jeduthun, who spoke God’s Word using the harp, giving thanks and praising the Lord.

4 N ga Hemani, bijtë e Hemanit: Bukiahu, Mataniahu, Uzieli, Shebueli, Jerimothi, Hananiahu, Hanani, Eliathahu, Gidalti, Romamt-Ezeri, Joshbekashahu, Malothi, Hothiri dhe Mahaziothi.

The sons of Heman were: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamtiezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir and Mahazioth.

5 T ërë këta ishin bijtë e Hemanit, shikuesit të mbretit sipas fjalës së Perëndisë për të ngritur në qiell fuqinë e tij. Në fakt Perëndia i kishte dhënë Hemanit katërmbëdhjetë bij dhe tri bija.

All these were the sons of Heman the king’s man of God, to honor him by the Words of God. God gave Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

6 T ërë këta ishin nën drejtimin e atit të tyre për të kënduar në shtëpinë e Zotit me cembale, dhe me harpa dhe me qeste, për shërbimin në shtëpinë e Perëndisë. Asafi, Jeduthuni dhe Hemani ishin nën urdhrat e mbretit.

All of them were led by their father to sing in the Lord’s house. They sang and played timbrels and harps, serving in the house of God. Asaph, Jeduthun and Heman were led by the king.

7 N umri i tyre, së bashku me vëllezërit e tyre të ushtruar për t’i kënduar Zotit, të gjithë me të vërtetë të aftë, ishte dyqind e tetëdhjetë e tetë veta.

The number of those and their brothers who were taught to sing to the Lord, all who were very good singers, was 288.

8 P ër të caktuar turnin e shërbimit të tyre si të vegjëlit ashtu dhe të mëdhenjtë, mjeshtrat dhe dishepujt, hoqën me short.

They drew names for their work, the young and old alike, also the teacher and the one who was taught.

9 I pari i caktuar me short për Asafin ishte Josefi; i dyti Gedaliahu, me vëllezërit dhe bijtë e tij, gjithsej dymbëdhjetë veta;

These are how the names were drawn. First was Joseph the son of Asaph. The second was Gedaliah. Together with his brothers and sons, there were twelve.

10 i treti ishte Zakuri, me bijtë dhe vëllezërit e tij, gjithsej dymbëdhjetë veta;

The third was Zaccur. With his sons and brothers there were twelve.

11 i katërti ishte Jitsri, me bijtë dhe vëllezërit e tij, gjithsej dymbëdhjetë veta;

The fourth was Izri. With his sons and brothers there were twelve.

12 i pesti ishte Nethaniahu, me bijtë dhe vëllezërit e tij, gjithsej dymbëdhjetë veta;

The fifth was Nethaniah. With his sons and brothers there were twelve.

13 i gjashti ishte Bukiahu, me bijtë dhe vëllezërit e tij, gjithsej dymbëdhjetë veta;

The sixth was Bukkiah. With his sons and brothers there were twelve.

14 i shtati ishte Jesharelahu, me bijtë dhe vëllezërit e tij, gjithsej dymbëdhjetë veta;

The seventh was Jesharelah. With his sons and brothers there were twelve.

15 i teti ishte Jeshajahu, me bijtë dhe vëllezërit e tij, gjithsej dymbëdhjetë veta;

The eighth was Jeshaiah. With his sons and brothers there were twelve.

16 i nënti ishte Mataniahu, me bijtë dhe vëllezërit e tij, gjithsej dymbëdhjetë veta;

The ninth was Mattaniah. With his sons and brothers there were twelve.

17 i dhjeti ishte Shimei, me bijtë dhe vëllezërit e tij, gjithsej dymbëdhjetë veta;

The tenth was Shimei. With his sons and brothers there were twelve.

18 i njëmbëdhjeti ishte Azareli, me bijtë dhe vëllezërit e tij, gjithsej dymbëdhjetë veta;

The eleventh was Azarel. With his sons and brothers there were twelve.

19 i dymbëdhjeti ishte Hashabiahu, me bijtë dhe vëllezërit e tij, gjithsej dymbëdhjetë veta;

The twelfth was Hashabiah. With his sons and brothers there were twelve.

20 i trembëdhjeti ishte Shubaeli, me bijtë dhe vëllezërit e tij, gjithsej dymbëdhjetë veta;

The thirteenth was Shubael. With his sons and brothers there were twelve.

21 i katërmbëdhjeti ishte Matithiahu, me bijtë dhe vëllezërit e tij, gjithsej dymbëdhjetë veta;

The fourteenth was Mattithiah. With his sons and brothers there were twelve.

22 i pesëmbëdhjeti ishte Jerimothi, me bijtë dhe vëllezërit e tij, gjithsej dymbëdhjetë veta;

The fifteenth was Jeremoth. With his sons and brothers there were twelve.

23 i gjashtëmbëdhjeti ishte Hanainahu, me bijtë dhe vëllezërit e tij, gjithsej dymbëdhjetë veta;

The sixteenth was Hananiah. With his sons and brothers there were twelve.

24 i shtatëmbëdhjeti ishte Joshbekashahu, me bijtë dhe me vëllezërit e tij, gjithsej dymbëdhjetë veta;

The seventeenth was Joshbekashah. With his sons and brothers there were twelve.

25 i tetëmbëdhjeti ishte Hanani, me bijtë dhe vëllezërit e tij, gjithsej dymbëdhjetë veta;

The eighteenth was Hanani. With his sons and brothers there were twelve.

26 i nëntëmbëdhjeti ishte Malothi, me bijtë dhe vëllezërit e tij, gjithsej dymbëdhjetë veta;

The nineteenth was Mallothi. With his sons and brothers there were twelve.

27 i njëzeti ishte Eliathahu, me bijtë dhe vëllezërit e tij, gjithsej dymbëdhjetë veta;

The twentieth was Eliathah. With his sons and brothers there were twelve.

28 i njëzetenjëti ishte Hothiri, me bijtë dhe vëllezërit e tij, gjithsej dymbëdhjetë veta;

The twenty-first was Hothir. With his sons and brothers there were twelve.

29 i njëzetedyti ishte Gidalti, me bijtë dhe vëllezërit e tij, gjithsej dymbëdhjetë veta;

The twenty-second was Giddalti. With his sons and brothers there were twelve.

30 i njëzetetreti ishte Mahaziothi, me bijtë dhe vëllezërit e tij, gjithsej dymbëdhjetë veta;

The twenty-third was Mahazioth. With his sons and brothers there were twelve.

31 i njëzetekatërti ishte Romamti-Ezeri, me bijtë dhe vëllezërit e tij, gjithsej dymbëdhjetë veta.

And the twenty-fourth was Romamti-ezer. With his sons and brothers there were twelve.
