1 M oses gathered all the congregation of the Israelites together and said to them, These are the things which the Lord has commanded that you do:

2 S ix days shall work be done, but the seventh day shall be to you a holy day, a Sabbath of rest to the Lord; whoever works shall be put to death.

Si lavorerà sei giorni, ma il settimo giorno sarà per voi un giorno santo, un sabato di riposo, consacrato all'Eterno. Chiunque fa qualche lavoro in esso sarà messo a morte.

3 Y ou shall kindle no fire in all your dwellings on the Sabbath day.

Non accenderete il fuoco in alcuna delle vostre abitazioni il giorno del sabato».

4 A nd Moses said to all the congregation of the Israelites, This is what the Lord commanded:

Poi Mosè parlò a tutta l'assemblea dei figli d'Israele e disse: «Questo è ciò che l'Eterno ha ordinato, dicendo:

5 T ake from among you an offering to the Lord. Whoever is of a willing and generous heart, let him bring the Lord’s offering: gold, silver, and bronze;

"Prendete tra di voi un'offerta all'Eterno; chiunque è di cuore generoso recherà un'offerta all'Eterno: oro, argento e bronzo,

6 B lue, purple, and scarlet, fine linen; goats’ hair;

stoffe di colore violaceo, porporino e scarlatto, lino fino e pelo di capra,

7 A nd rams’ skins tanned red, and skins of dolphins or porpoises; and acacia wood;

8 A nd oil for the light; and spices for anointing oil and for fragrant incense;

10 A nd let every able and wisehearted man among you come and make all that the Lord has commanded:

11 T he tabernacle, its tent and its covering, its hooks, its boards, its bars, its pillars, and its sockets or bases;

12 T he ark and its poles, with the mercy seat, and the veil of the screen;

15 A nd the incense altar and its poles, the anointing oil and the fragrant incense, the hanging or screen for the door at the entrance of the tabernacle;

16 T he altar of burnt offering, with its bronze grating, its poles and all its utensils, the laver and its base;

17 T he court’s hangings, its pillars and their sockets or bases, and the hanging or screen for the gate of the court;

18 T he pegs of the tabernacle and of the court, and their cords,

20 T hen all the congregation of the Israelites left Moses’ presence.

Allora tutta l'assemblea dei figli d'Israele si allontanò dalla presenza di Mosè.

21 A nd they came, each one whose heart stirred him up and whose spirit made him willing, and brought the Lord’s offering to be used for the Tent of Meeting, for all its service, and the holy garments.

Così tutti quelli che erano mossi dal loro cuore e tutti quelli che erano spinti dal loro spirito, vennero a portare l'offerta all'Eterno per l'opera della tenda di convegno, per tutto il suo servizio e per le vesti sacre.

22 T hey came, both men and women, all who were willinghearted, and brought brooches, earrings or nose rings, signet rings, and armlets or necklaces, all jewels of gold, everyone bringing an offering of gold to the Lord.

Vennero uomini e donne, quelli che erano di cuore generoso, e portarono fermagli, orecchini, anelli da sigillare e braccialetti, ogni sorta di gioielli d'oro; ognuno portò qualche offerta d'oro all'Eterno.

23 A nd everyone with whom was found blue or purple or scarlet, or fine linen, or goats’ hair, or rams’ skins made red, or dolphin or porpoise skins brought them.

E tutti quelli che avevano delle stoffe di color violaceo, porporino, scarlatto, o lino fino, o pelo di capra, o pelli di montone di color rosso, o pelli di tasso, li portarono.

24 E veryone who could make an offering of silver or bronze brought it as the Lord’s offering, and every man with whom was found any acacia wood for any work of the service brought it.

Chiunque poteva fare un'offerta d'argento o di bronzo, portò l'offerta consacrata all'Eterno; e chiunque aveva del legno di acacia per qualche lavoro destinato al servizio, lo portò.

25 A ll the women who had ability and were wisehearted spun with their hands and brought what they had spun of blue and purple and scarlet and fine linen;

Tutte le donne abili filarono con le proprie mani e portarono i loro filati di color violaceo, porporino, scarlatto, e del lino fino.

26 A nd all the women who had ability and whose hearts stirred them up in wisdom spun the goats’ hair.

E tutte le donne che erano mosse dal loro cuore ed avevano delle abilità, filarono del pelo di capra.

27 T he leaders brought onyx stones and stones to be set for the ephod and for the breastplate,

I capi del popolo portarono pietre di onice e pietre da incastonare per l'efod e per il pettorale,

28 A nd spice, and oil for the light and for the anointing oil and for the fragrant incense.

aromi e olio per la luce del candelabro, per l'olio dell'unzione e per l'incenso aromatico.

29 T he Israelites brought a freewill offering to the Lord, all men and women whose hearts made them willing and moved them to bring anything for any of the work which the Lord had commanded by Moses to be done.

Tutti i figli d'Israele, uomini e donne, che erano mossi dal cuore a portare qualcosa per tutta l'opera che l'Eterno aveva comandato di fare per mezzo di Mosè, recarono all'Eterno delle offerte volontarie.

30 A nd Moses said to the Israelites, See, the Lord called by name Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;

Mosè disse ai figli d'Israele: «Vedete, l'Eterno ha chiamato per nome Betsaleel, figlio di Uri, figlio di Hur, della tribú di Giuda,

31 A nd He has filled him with the Spirit of God, with ability and wisdom, with intelligence and understanding, and with knowledge and all craftsmanship,

e lo ha ripieno dello Spirito di DIO, di sapienza, d'intelligenza e di conoscenza e di ogni abilità,

32 T o devise artistic designs, to work in gold, silver, and bronze,

per ideare disegni artistici, per lavorare l'oro, l'argento e il bronzo,

33 I n cutting of stones for setting, and in carving of wood, for work in every skilled craft.

per scolpire pietre da incastonare, per intagliare il legno e per eseguire ogni sorta di lavori d'arte.

34 A nd God has put in Bezalel’s heart that he may teach, both he and Aholiab son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.

Ha anche messo in cuore l'abilità d'insegnare, a lui e a Oholiab figlio di Ahisamak, della tribú di Dan.

35 H e has filled them with wisdom of heart and ability to do all manner of craftsmanship, of the engraver, of the skillful workman, of the embroiderer in blue, purple, and scarlet and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of those who do or design any skilled work.

Li ha ripieni della sapienza di cuore per eseguire ogni sorta di lavori di intagliatore, di disegnatore, di ricamatore e di tessitore, in color violaceo, porporino, scarlatto, e di lino fino, in grado di eseguire qualunque lavoro e di ideare disegni artistici.
