1 Д еца, покорявайте се на родителите си в Господа, защото това е правилно.

Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right.

2 " Почитай баща си и майка си" (което е първата заповед с обещание),

“Honor your father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise:

3 " за да ти бъде добре и да живееш много години на земята."

“that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.”

4 И вие, бащи, не дразнете децата си, а ги възпитавайте в учение и наставление Господне. Роби и господари

And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but bring them up in the training and admonition of the Lord. Bondservants and Masters

5 С луги, покорявайте се на господарите си по плът със страх и трепет, в простотата на сърцето си, като към Христос.

Bondservants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in sincerity of heart, as to Christ;

6 Н е работете само за пред очи, като човекоугодници, а като Христови слуги изпълнявайте от душа Божията воля;

not with eyeservice, as men-pleasers, but as bondservants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart,

7 и слугувайте с добра воля като на Господа, а не на човеци;

with goodwill doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men,

8 п онеже знаете, че всеки роб или свободен ще получи от Господа същото добро, каквото върши.

knowing that whatever good anyone does, he will receive the same from the Lord, whether he is a slave or free.

9 И вие, господари, правете същото на тях, като се въздържате от заплашване; понеже знаете, че и на тях, и на вас има Господар на небесата, у Когото няма лицеприятие. Духовното снаряжение за битка със злото

And you, masters, do the same things to them, giving up threatening, knowing that your own Master also is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him. The Whole Armor of God

10 Н ай-после, заяквайте в Господа и в силата на Неговото могъщество.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

11 О блечете се в Божието всеоръжие, за да можете да устоите срещу хитростите на дявола.

Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

12 З ащото нашата борба не е срещу кръв и плът, а срещу началствата, срещу властите, срещу световните управители на тази тъмнота, срещу духовните сили на нечестието в небесните места.

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

13 З атова вземете Божието всеоръжие, за да можете да противостоите в злия ден и като надвиете на всичко, да устоите.

Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 И така, стойте препасани с истина през кръста си и облечени в правдата за бронен нагръдник;

Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,

15 и с краката си обути с готовност чрез благовестието на мира.

and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 А освен всичко това вземете вярата за щит, с който ще можете да угасите всички огнени стрели на нечестивия;

above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.

17 в земете също за шлем спасението и меча на Духа, който е Божието слово;

And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;

18 к ато се молите в Духа на всяко време с всякаква молитва и прошение, бодърствайте в това с неуморно постоянство и молба за всички светии

praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints—

19 и за мене, да ми се даде слово да отворя устата си, за да оповестя дръзновено тайната на благовестието,

and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel,

20 з а което съм посланик в окови, да говоря за него с дръзновение, както прилича да говоря. Заключителни поздрави

for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. A Gracious Greeting

21 А за да знаете и вие за моите работи и как съм, всичко ще ви каже Тихик, възлюбеният брат и верен в Господа служител,

But that you also may know my affairs and how I am doing, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, will make all things known to you;

22 к огото пратих до вас нарочно за това - да узнаете нашето състояние и той да утеши сърцата ви.

whom I have sent to you for this very purpose, that you may know our affairs, and that he may comfort your hearts.

23 М ир на братята и любов с вяра от Бога Отца и Господ Исус Христос.

Peace to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

24 Б лагодат да бъде с всички, които искрено обичат нашия Господ Исус Христос. Амин.
