1 Т огава цялото тяхно множество се вдигна и Го заведе при Пилат.

Then the whole multitude of them arose and led Him to Pilate.

2 И започнаха да Го обвиняват със следните думи: Установихме, че Този развращава народа ни, забранява да се дава данък на Цезаря и казва за Себе Си, че е Христос, Цар.

And they began to accuse Him, saying, “We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to pay taxes to Caesar, saying that He Himself is Christ, a King.”

3 А Пилат Го попита: Ти ли си Юдейският Цар? А Той му отговори: Ти право казваш.

Then Pilate asked Him, saying, “Are You the King of the Jews?” He answered him and said, “ It is as you say.”

4 И Пилат каза на главните свещеници и на народа: Аз не намирам никаква вина у Този човек.

So Pilate said to the chief priests and the crowd, “I find no fault in this Man.”

5 А те по-настойчиво казваха: Той вълнува народа, понеже поучава по цяла Юдея, като е почнал от Галилея и е стигнал дотук. Изпращането на Исус Христос при Ирод

But they were the more fierce, saying, “He stirs up the people, teaching throughout all Judea, beginning from Galilee to this place.” Jesus Faces Herod

6 А Пилат, като чу това, попита дали човекът е галилеянин.

When Pilate heard of Galilee, he asked if the Man were a Galilean.

7 И като узна, че е от областта на Ирод, изпрати Го до Ирод, който през тези дни беше в Йерусалим.

And as soon as he knew that He belonged to Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent Him to Herod, who was also in Jerusalem at that time.

8 А Ирод, като видя Исус, много се зарадва, защото отдавна желаеше да Го види, понеже беше слушал за Него; и се надяваше да види някое знамение от Него.

Now when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceedingly glad; for he had desired for a long time to see Him, because he had heard many things about Him, and he hoped to see some miracle done by Him.

9 И Му задаваше много въпроси; но Той не му отговори нищо.

Then he questioned Him with many words, but He answered him nothing.

10 А главните свещеници и книжниците стояха и яростно Го обвиняваха.

And the chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently accused Him.

11 Н о Ирод с войниците си, като се отнесе към Него с презрение и Го подигра, облече Го във великолепна дреха и Го изпрати обратно при Пилат.

Then Herod, with his men of war, treated Him with contempt and mocked Him, arrayed Him in a gorgeous robe, and sent Him back to Pilate.

12 В същия ден Ирод и Пилат се сприятелиха помежду си; защото преди това враждуваха един против друг. Осъждането на Исус Христос на смърт

That very day Pilate and Herod became friends with each other, for previously they had been at enmity with each other. Taking the Place of Barabbas

13 Т огава Пилат свика главните свещеници, началниците и народа и им каза:

Then Pilate, when he had called together the chief priests, the rulers, and the people,

14 Д оведохте ми Този като човек, който развращава народа; но, ето, аз Го разпитах пред вас и не намерих в Него никаква вина относно това, за което Го обвинявате.

said to them, “You have brought this Man to me, as one who misleads the people. And indeed, having examined Him in your presence, I have found no fault in this Man concerning those things of which you accuse Him;

15 Н ито пък Ирод е намерил, защото Го е изпратил обратно до нас; така че Той не е направил нищо, което заслужава смъртно наказание.

no, neither did Herod, for I sent you back to him; and indeed nothing deserving of death has been done by Him.

16 З атова, като Го накажа, ще Го пусна.

I will therefore chastise Him and release Him ”

17 А той се задължаваше да им пуска на всеки празник по един затворник.

(for it was necessary for him to release one to them at the feast).

18 Н о те всички изкрещяха в един глас: Премахни Този и ни пусни Варава.

And they all cried out at once, saying, “Away with this Man, and release to us Barabbas”—

19 К ойто за някаква размирица, станала в града, и за убийство бе хвърлен в тъмница.

who had been thrown into prison for a certain rebellion made in the city, and for murder.

20 И Пилат отново им говори с висок глас, защото желаеше да пусне Исус.

Pilate, therefore, wishing to release Jesus, again called out to them.

21 А те крещяха: Разпъни Го! Разпъни Го!

But they shouted, saying, “Crucify Him, crucify Him!”

22 А той трети път им каза: Че какво зло е сторил Той? Аз не намирам в Него нищо, за което да заслужава смърт; затова, като Го накажа, ще Го пусна.

Then he said to them the third time, “Why, what evil has He done? I have found no reason for death in Him. I will therefore chastise Him and let Him go.”

23 Н о те настояваха със силни гласове да бъде разпънат; и техните гласове надделяха.

But they were insistent, demanding with loud voices that He be crucified. And the voices of these men and of the chief priests prevailed.

24 И Пилат реши да изпълни искането им:

So Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they requested.

25 п усна онзи, когото искаха, който беше хвърлен в тъмница за размирица и убийство; а Исус предаде на смърт според волята им. Разпъването на Исус Христос

And he released to them the one they requested, who for rebellion and murder had been thrown into prison; but he delivered Jesus to their will. The King on a Cross

26 И когато Го поведоха, хванаха някого си Симон, киринеец, който се връщаше от нива, и сложиха на него кръста, за да го носи след Исус.

Now as they led Him away, they laid hold of a certain man, Simon a Cyrenian, who was coming from the country, and on him they laid the cross that he might bear it after Jesus.

27 И след Него вървеше голямо множество народ и жени, които плачеха за Него.

And a great multitude of the people followed Him, and women who also mourned and lamented Him.

28 А Исус се обърна към тях и каза: Дъщери йерусалимски, недейте плака за Мене, но плачете за себе си и за децата си;

But Jesus, turning to them, said, “Daughters of Jerusalem, do not weep for Me, but weep for yourselves and for your children.

29 з ащото, ето, идат дни, когато ще кажат: Блажени безплодните и утробите, които не са раждали, и гърдите, които не са кърмили.

For indeed the days are coming in which they will say, ‘Blessed are the barren, wombs that never bore, and breasts which never nursed!’

30 Т огава ще започнат да казват на планините: Паднете върху нас!, и на хълмовете: Покрийте ни!

Then they will begin ‘to say to the mountains, “Fall on us!” and to the hills, “Cover us!”’

31 З ащото ако правят това със суровото дърво, какво ще правят със сухото?

For if they do these things in the green wood, what will be done in the dry?”

32 И с Него караха и други двама, които бяха злодеи, за да ги убият.

There were also two others, criminals, led with Him to be put to death.

33 И когато стигнаха на мястото, наречено Лобно, там разпънаха Него и злодеите - единия отдясно, а другия - отляво на Него.

And when they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him, and the criminals, one on the right hand and the other on the left.

34 А Исус каза: Отче, прости им, защото не знаят какво правят. И като разделиха дрехите Му, хвърлиха жребий за тях.

Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.” And they divided His garments and cast lots.

35 И хората стояха и гледаха. Още и началниците Го ругаеха, като казваха: Други е избавил; нека избави Себе Си, ако Той е Христос, Божият Избраник.

And the people stood looking on. But even the rulers with them sneered, saying, “He saved others; let Him save Himself if He is the Christ, the chosen of God.”

36 С ъщо и войниците Му се подиграваха, като се приближаваха и Му поднасяха оцет, и казваха:

The soldiers also mocked Him, coming and offering Him sour wine,

37 А ко си Юдейският Цар, избави Себе Си.

and saying, “If You are the King of the Jews, save Yourself.”

38 А над Него имаше и надпис: Този е Юдейският Цар.

And an inscription also was written over Him in letters of Greek, Latin, and Hebrew: THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

39 И един от увисналите злодеи Го хулеше, като казваше: Нали Ти си Христос? Избави Себе Си и нас!

Then one of the criminals who were hanged blasphemed Him, saying, “If You are the Christ, save Yourself and us.”

40 А другият в отговор го смъмра: Дори от Бога ли не се боиш, ти, който си със същата присъда?

But the other, answering, rebuked him, saying, “Do you not even fear God, seeing you are under the same condemnation?

41 А ние справедливо сме осъдени, защото получаваме заслуженото за това, което сме сторили; а Този не е сторил нищо лошо.

And we indeed justly, for we receive the due reward of our deeds; but this Man has done nothing wrong.”

42 И каза: Господи Исусе, спомни си за мене, когато дойдеш в Царството Си.

Then he said to Jesus, “Lord, remember me when You come into Your kingdom.”

43 А Исус му отговори: Истина ти казвам днес ще бъдеш с Мене в рая. Кръстната смърт на Исус Христос

And Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise.” Jesus Dies on the Cross

44 А беше вече около шестия час и тъмнина покриваше цялата земя до деветия час,

Now it was about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.

45 к ато слънцето потъмня; и завесата на храма се раздра през средата.

Then the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was torn in two.

46 И Исус извика със силен глас и каза: Отче, в Твоите ръце предавам духа Си. И като каза това, издъхна.

And when Jesus had cried out with a loud voice, He said, “Father, ‘into Your hands I commit My spirit.’” Having said this, He breathed His last.

47 И стотникът, като видя станалото, прослави Бога, като каза: Наистина, този Човек беше праведен.

So when the centurion saw what had happened, he glorified God, saying, “Certainly this was a righteous Man!”

48 А всички множества, които бяха дошли на това зрелище, като виждаха какво стана, се връщаха, като се удряха в гърди.

And the whole crowd who came together to that sight, seeing what had been done, beat their breasts and returned.

49 А всички Негови познати и жените, които Го следваха от Галилея, стояха надалеч и гледаха това. Снемането на Исус Христос от кръста и погребението му

But all His acquaintances, and the women who followed Him from Galilee, stood at a distance, watching these things. Jesus Buried in Joseph’s Tomb

50 И маше един човек на име Йосиф, който беше съветник, човек добър и праведен,

Now behold, there was a man named Joseph, a council member, a good and just man.

51 к ойто не се беше съгласил с намерението и делото им. Той беше от юдейския град Ариматея, човек, който очакваше Божието царство.

He had not consented to their decision and deed. He was from Arimathea, a city of the Jews, who himself was also waiting for the kingdom of God.

52 Т ой отиде при Пилат и поиска тялото на Исус.

This man went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus.

53 И като го свали, обви го с плащеница и го положи в гроб, изсечен в скала, където никой не беше още полаган.

Then he took it down, wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a tomb that was hewn out of the rock, where no one had ever lain before.

54 И това беше денят на Приготовлението и съботата настъпваше.

That day was the Preparation, and the Sabbath drew near.

55 А жените, които бяха дошли с Него от Галилея, вървяха отзад и видяха гроба и как беше положено тялото Му.

And the women who had come with Him from Galilee followed after, and they observed the tomb and how His body was laid.

56 И като се върнаха, приготвиха аромати и миро; и в съботата си почиваха според заповедта в Моисеевия закон.

Then they returned and prepared spices and fragrant oils. And they rested on the Sabbath according to the commandment.
