1 А след два дни щеше да бъде Пасхата и празникът на безквасните хлябове; и главните свещеници и книжниците търсеха случай да Го уловят с хитрост и да Го погубят.

After two days it was the Passover and the Feast of Unleavened Bread. And the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take Him by trickery and put Him to death.

2 З ащото си казваха: Да не стане на празника, за да не се надигне вълнение между народа.

But they said, “Not during the feast, lest there be an uproar of the people.” The Anointing at Bethany

3 И когато Той беше във Витания и седеше на трапезата в къщата на Симон Прокажения, дойде една жена, която имаше алабастрен съд с миро от чист и скъпоценен нард; и като счупи съда, изля мирото на главата Му.

And being in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper, as He sat at the table, a woman came having an alabaster flask of very costly oil of spikenard. Then she broke the flask and poured it on His head.

4 А имаше някои, които негодуваха и говореха помежду си: Защо така се прахоса мирото?

But there were some who were indignant among themselves, and said, “Why was this fragrant oil wasted?

5 З ащото това миро можеше да се продаде за повече от триста пеняза и парите да се раздадат на сиромасите. И негодуваха против нея.

For it might have been sold for more than three hundred denarii and given to the poor.” And they criticized her sharply.

6 Н о Исус каза: Оставете я. Защо ѝ досаждате? Тя извърши добро дело за Мене.

But Jesus said, “Let her alone. Why do you trouble her? She has done a good work for Me.

7 З ащото сиромасите всякога са между вас и когато искате, можете да им направите добро; но Аз не винаги съм между вас.

For you have the poor with you always, and whenever you wish you may do them good; but Me you do not have always.

8 Т я извърши това, което можеше; предварително помаза тялото Ми за погребение.

She has done what she could. She has come beforehand to anoint My body for burial.

9 И стина ви казвам: Където и да се проповядва благовестието по целия свят, ще се разказва за неин спомен и за това, което тя направи. Предателството на Юда

Assuredly, I say to you, wherever this gospel is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be told as a memorial to her.” Judas Agrees to Betray Jesus

10 Т огава Юда Искариотски, онзи, който беше един от дванадесетте, отиде при главните свещеници, за да им Го предаде.

Then Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went to the chief priests to betray Him to them.

11 Т е, като чуха, се зарадваха и обещаха да му дадат пари. И той търсеше сгоден случай да Го предаде. Тайната вечеря

And when they heard it, they were glad, and promised to give him money. So he sought how he might conveniently betray Him. Jesus Celebrates the Passover with His Disciples

12 А на първия ден на празника на безквасните хлябове, когато колеха жертви за Пасхата, учениците Му казаха: Къде искаш да отидем и приготвим, за да ядеш Пасхата?

Now on the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they killed the Passover lamb, His disciples said to Him, “Where do You want us to go and prepare, that You may eat the Passover?”

13 И Той изпрати двама от учениците Си и им каза: Идете в града и ще ви срещне човек, който носи стомна с вода; вървете след него.

And He sent out two of His disciples and said to them, “Go into the city, and a man will meet you carrying a pitcher of water; follow him.

14 И където влезе, кажете на стопанина на тази къща: Учителят каза: Къде е приготвената за Мене гостна стая, където ще ям Пасхата с учениците Си?

Wherever he goes in, say to the master of the house, ‘The Teacher says, “Where is the guest room in which I may eat the Passover with My disciples?”’

15 И той ще ви посочи една голяма горна стая, постлана и готова; там ни пригответе.

Then he will show you a large upper room, furnished and prepared; there make ready for us.”

16 И така, учениците излязоха и дойдоха в града; и намериха както беше им казал; и приготвиха Пасхата.

So His disciples went out, and came into the city, and found it just as He had said to them; and they prepared the Passover.

17 С лед като се свечери, Той дойде с дванадесетте.

In the evening He came with the twelve.

18 И когато седяха на трапезата и ядяха, Исус каза: Истина ви казвам: Един от вас, който яде с Мене, ще Ме предаде.

Now as they sat and ate, Jesus said, “Assuredly, I say to you, one of you who eats with Me will betray Me.”

19 Т е започнаха да скърбят и да Му казват един след друг: Да не съм аз?

And they began to be sorrowful, and to say to Him one by one, “ Is it I?” And another said, “ Is it I?”

20 А Той им каза: Един от дванадесетте е, който топи заедно с Мене в блюдото.

He answered and said to them, “ It is one of the twelve, who dips with Me in the dish.

21 З ащото Човешкият Син отива, както е писано за Него; но горко на този човек, чрез когото Човешкият Син бива предаден! Добре би било за този човек, ако не бе се родил.

The Son of Man indeed goes just as it is written of Him, but woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! It would have been good for that man if he had never been born.” Jesus Institutes the Lord’s Supper

22 И когато ядяха, Исус взе хляб и като благослови, разчупи, даде им и каза: Вземете яжте; това е Моето тяло.

And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.”

23 В зе и чашата, благослови и им даде; и те всички пиха от нея.

Then He took the cup, and when He had given thanks He gave it to them, and they all drank from it.

24 И им каза: Това е Моята кръв на новия завет, която се пролива за мнозина.

And He said to them, “This is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many.

25 И стина ви казвам, че вече няма да пия от плода на лозата до онзи ден, когато ще го пия нов в Божието царство.

Assuredly, I say to you, I will no longer drink of the fruit of the vine until that day when I drink it new in the kingdom of God.”

26 И като изпяха химн, излязоха на Елеонския хълм.

And when they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives. Jesus Predicts Peter’s Denial

27 И Исус им каза: Вие всички ще се съблазните поради Мене тази нощ; защото е писано: "Ще поразя пастира и овцете ще се разпръснат."

Then Jesus said to them, “All of you will be made to stumble because of Me this night, for it is written: ‘I will strike the Shepherd, And the sheep will be scattered.’

28 А след възкресението Си ще отида преди вас в Галилея.

“But after I have been raised, I will go before you to Galilee.”

29 А Петър Му каза: Дори и всички да се съблазнят, аз обаче няма.

Peter said to Him, “Even if all are made to stumble, yet I will not be. ”

30 И сус му каза: Истина ти казвам, че днес, тази нощ, преди петелът да изпее два пъти, ти три пъти ще се отречеш от Мен. Предсказанието на Исус Христос за отричането на ап. Петър

Jesus said to him, “Assuredly, I say to you that today, even this night, before the rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times.”

31 А той още по-разпалено говореше: Ако стане нужда и да умра с Тебе, пак няма да се отрека от Тебе. Същото казаха и другите. Молитва в Гетсиманската градина

But he spoke more vehemently, “If I have to die with You, I will not deny You!” And they all said likewise. The Prayer in the Garden

32 О тидоха на едно място, наречено Гетсимания; и Той каза на учениците Си: Стойте тук, докато се помоля.

Then they came to a place which was named Gethsemane; and He said to His disciples, “Sit here while I pray.”

33 И взе със Себе Си Петър, Яков и Йоан; и започна да се ужасява и измъчва.

And He took Peter, James, and John with Him, and He began to be troubled and deeply distressed.

34 И им каза: Душата Ми е прескръбна до смърт; постойте тук и бдете.

Then He said to them, “My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch.”

35 И като отиде малко напред, падна на земята; и се молеше, ако е възможно, да Го отмине този час, като казваше:

He went a little farther, and fell on the ground, and prayed that if it were possible, the hour might pass from Him.

36 А вва, Отче, за Тебе всичко е възможно; отмини Ме с тази чаша; не обаче както Аз искам, но както Ти искаш.

And He said, “Abba, Father, all things are possible for You. Take this cup away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will, but what You will. ”

37 И дойде, намери ги заспали; и каза на Петър: Симоне, спиш ли? Не можа ли един час да бдиш?

Then He came and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “Simon, are you sleeping? Could you not watch one hour?

38 Б дете и се молете, за да не паднете в изкушение. Духът е бодър, а тялото - немощно.

Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”

39 И пак отиде и се помоли, като каза същите думи.

Again He went away and prayed, and spoke the same words.

40 И като дойде пак, намери ги заспали, защото очите им бяха натежали; и не знаеха какво да Му отговорят.

And when He returned, He found them asleep again, for their eyes were heavy; and they did not know what to answer Him.

41 И дойде трети път и им каза: Още ли спите и почивате? Достатъчно! Дойде часът! Ето, Човешкият Син бива предаден в ръцете на грешниците.

Then He came the third time and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? It is enough! The hour has come; behold, the Son of Man is being betrayed into the hands of sinners.

42 С танете да вървим; ето, приближи се онзи, който Ме предава. Залавянето на Исус Христос

Rise, let us be going. See, My betrayer is at hand.” Betrayal and Arrest in Gethsemane

43 И веднага, докато Той говореше, дойде Юда, един от дванадесетте, и с него едно множество с мечове и сопи, изпратени от главните свещеници, книжниците и старейшините.

And immediately, while He was still speaking, Judas, one of the twelve, with a great multitude with swords and clubs, came from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders.

44 А онзи, който Го предаваше, беше им дал знак, като каза: Когото целуна за поздрав - Той е; хванете Го и Го заведете, като Го пазите здраво.

Now His betrayer had given them a signal, saying, “Whomever I kiss, He is the One; seize Him and lead Him away safely.”

45 И когато дойде, веднага се приближи до Него и каза: Учителю! И Го целуна.

As soon as he had come, immediately he went up to Him and said to Him, “Rabbi, Rabbi!” and kissed Him.

46 И те сложиха ръце на Него и Го хванаха.

Then they laid their hands on Him and took Him.

47 А един от стоящите там измъкна меча си, удари слугата на първосвещеника и му отсече ухото.

And one of those who stood by drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear.

48 И сус заговори и им каза: Като срещу разбойник ли сте излезли с мечове и сопи да Ме уловите?

Then Jesus answered and said to them, “Have you come out, as against a robber, with swords and clubs to take Me?

49 В секи ден бях при вас и поучавах в храма, и не Ме хванахте; но това стана, за да се сбъднат Писанията.

I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and you did not seize Me. But the Scriptures must be fulfilled.”

50 Т огава всички Го оставиха и се разбягаха.

Then they all forsook Him and fled. A Young Man Flees Naked

51 И един младеж Го следваше, обвит с плащеница на голо; и те го хванаха.

Now a certain young man followed Him, having a linen cloth thrown around his naked body. And the young men laid hold of him,

52 А той, като остави плащеницата, избяга гол. Исус Христос на съд пред Синедриона

and he left the linen cloth and fled from them naked. Jesus Faces the Sanhedrin

53 И заведоха Исус при първосвещеника, при когото се събраха и всички главни свещеници, и старейшините, и книжниците.

And they led Jesus away to the high priest; and with him were assembled all the chief priests, the elders, and the scribes.

54 А Петър Го беше следвал отдалеч до вътре в двора на първосвещеника и седеше заедно със слугите, и се грееше на огъня.

But Peter followed Him at a distance, right into the courtyard of the high priest. And he sat with the servants and warmed himself at the fire.

55 И главните свещеници и целият Синедрион търсеха свидетелство против Исус, за да Го предадат на смърт, но не намериха.

Now the chief priests and all the council sought testimony against Jesus to put Him to death, but found none.

56 З ащото мнозина лъжесвидетелстваха против Него, но свидетелствата им се различаваха.

For many bore false witness against Him, but their testimonies did not agree.

57 П осле някои станаха и лъжесвидетелстваха против Него, като казаха:

Then some rose up and bore false witness against Him, saying,

58 Н ие Го чухме да казва: Аз ще разруша този ръкотворен храм и за три дни ще съградя друг, неръкотворен.

“We heard Him say, ‘I will destroy this temple made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands.’”

59 Н о и в това свидетелствата им се различаваха.

But not even then did their testimony agree.

60 Т огава първосвещеникът се изправи насред Синедриона и попита Исус: Нищо ли не отговаряш? Какво свидетелстват тези против Теб?

And the high priest stood up in the midst and asked Jesus, saying, “Do You answer nothing? What is it these men testify against You?”

61 А Той мълчеше и не отговори нищо. Първосвещеникът пак Го попита: Ти ли си Христос, Син на Благословения?

But He kept silent and answered nothing. Again the high priest asked Him, saying to Him, “Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?”

62 А Исус каза: Аз съм; и ще видите Човешкия Син, седящ отдясно на Всесилния и идещ с небесните облаци.

Jesus said, “I am. And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.”

63 Т огава първосвещеникът раздра дрехите си и каза: Каква нужда имаме вече от свидетели?

Then the high priest tore his clothes and said, “What further need do we have of witnesses?

64 Ч ухте богохулството; как ви се вижда? И те всички Го осъдиха, че заслужава смъртно наказание.

You have heard the blasphemy! What do you think?” And they all condemned Him to be deserving of death.

65 И някои започнаха да Го заплюват, да Му закриват лицето, да Го блъскат и да Му казват: Познай! И служителите, като Го хванаха, Му удряха плесници. Отричането на ап. Петър

Then some began to spit on Him, and to blindfold Him, and to beat Him, and to say to Him, “Prophesy!” And the officers struck Him with the palms of their hands. Peter Denies Jesus, and Weeps

66 И когато Петър беше долу, на двора, дойде една от слугините на първосвещеника;

Now as Peter was below in the courtyard, one of the servant girls of the high priest came.

67 и като видя Петър, че се грее, вгледа се в него и каза: И ти беше с Исус Назарянина.

And when she saw Peter warming himself, she looked at him and said, “You also were with Jesus of Nazareth.”

68 А той се отрече и каза: Нито зная, нито разбирам какво говориш. И излезе вън в преддверието и петелът пропя.

But he denied it, saying, “I neither know nor understand what you are saying.” And he went out on the porch, and a rooster crowed.

69 Н о слугинята го видя и пак започна да казва на стоящите там: Този е от тях.

And the servant girl saw him again, and began to say to those who stood by, “This is one of them.”

70 А той пак се отрече. След малко стоящите там пак казаха на Петър: Наистина си от тях, защото си галилеянин и говорът те издава.

But he denied it again. And a little later those who stood by said to Peter again, “Surely you are one of them; for you are a Galilean, and your speech shows it. ”

71 А той започна да проклина и да се кълне: Не познавам Този човек, за Когото говорите.

Then he began to curse and swear, “I do not know this Man of whom you speak!”

72 И начаса петелът пропя втори път. И Петър си спомни думите, които Исус му беше казал: Преди петелът да пропее два пъти, три пъти ще се отречеш от Мен. И като се замисли за това, заплака.

A second time the rooster crowed. Then Peter called to mind the word that Jesus had said to him, “Before the rooster crows twice, you will deny Me three times.” And when he thought about it, he wept.
